We had a floor level room courtyard view. The kids loved the pool and the breakfast was good. Room was clean.

Pool and hot tub were closed and that was not disclosed when I booked. Very disappointed.

This was my second time staying here and I'd stay here again. With that said, this is a budget motel. The cost is a great value. The rooms are big, the beds are comfortable, the staff is exceptional, and the complementary self-serve breakfast is hot and tasty. The pool was nice and several families were swimming on a hot day. It was great as a place to unwind and overnight before heading out the next morning. There are plenty of restaurants and stores very close. A nice gas/convenience station is right next door and Walmart is across the street. I get the feeling that this is probably locally-owned. Not a lot of staff, so those who are employed wear many hats. It's an older building and a bit run down (needing things like paint on doors and various repairs), but the property is not otherwise neglected. The grass was mowed and the essentials were taken care of. It's supposed to be a non-smoking property, but my room smelled of smoke. Someone either smoked inside, outside with the door open, or with the air conditioner filtering it in. It was tolerable or I would have asked to switch rooms, which I'm sure they would have happily allowed. The air conditioner kept the room at 72 in late June with temps outside around 85+. There were a couple bulbs missing out of lamps, but I moved one bulb to from one lamp and got all of them working with one bulb each. The iron was missing but they ran one up to me in 5 minutes.

The staff, beds, and breakfast was great. The rooms were great except the flies were horrible, the tubes could be updated, the refrigerated freezers could have been cleaned out, and the swimming pool had a lot of leaves in it. The website needs to be updated too because there was not a spa or hot tub as stated.

Second week in a row. Ice machine doesn’t work….

Pool was a wonderful way to cool off, it's clean and quiet as was the motel.

Swimming pool was not filled or working. Would like to see it fixed. Loved the recliner in the room.

There were not many cars here. This Inn has seen much better days. The indoor pool and hot tub apparently are broken down. My room has 2 doors and one of them was unlocked when I first arrived. Anyone could have opened it. The heat light in the bathroom was on. I wonder how long that was left in the on position, but it works. Bathroom was nice and clean. The breakfast room had a few items in it, and was about 62 degrees. Maybe they get so few lodgers that they do not put much out there unless you ask for it. Staff was friendly and helpful. Parking lot was plowed. However, I would choose another place next time I go to McPherson.

Check-in was long for having a reservation. Towels were too small. There's not really an indoor pool because it has a leak that hasn't been repaired. The room was clean. Breakfast was good.

Outdoor pool closed for the season. Indoor pool not in service. Only 2 towels for 3 adults. No hot water and shower head didn't work correctly. Ran out of food 45 minutes prior to end of breakfast and wouldn't make more until manager was called. Ran out of toilet paper. No TV remote. Only good thing was the beds were comfortable.

Checked in 6-15-25 found a huge brown recluse in the sink and found two bugs in the bed. Looked it doesn’t get clean. Nasty place pay for what you get.

Wouldnt stay again. Floors looked like the hadnt seen a vacuum or mop in quite a while. Bed had eyelashes on sheets and looked like someone had taken a nap on it after making. Door chain lock was broken. Good is a hot shower cold ac and front desk were friendly.

Outside door didn’t work but I was ok with that, I was told before hand. No kleenexes in room. Floor needed vacuuming. Otherwise the room was as expected.

The room was not clean. the bathroom door would not shut curtains were falling off the rods. Just not happy with our stay. will not be back!!

The gal checking us in was great. The room, however, was not. There was a roach and silverfish and black bug in the sink, a big spider in bathroom, and a cricket in the shower. Hard to sleep after experiencing those bugs.

DO NOT STAY HERE! my room was so dirty, looked like carpet hasn’t been vacuumed in months, along with pile of dirt/bugs in corner by front door, under the bed is disgusting, I found a dead cockroach in my room, my brother found a live one in his, there are open areas on corners of walls with sharp metal sticking out that I cut my arm on. Outside lights don’t work in most areas, only above where the maintenance guy lives. Heat lamp above shower had no bulb, no cover and it was full of dirt. I got what I am hoping is only flea bites all around my ankles, better not be bedbugs! Shower head barely spits out water. Water stained ceiling tile in bathroom. Breakfast is sub-par.

Room was not throughly cleaned prior to visit. There was lint/dirt on carpet and hair in bathtub. The main lamp was without a light bulb so we fumbled in the dark finding another lamp to turn on. Comforter on the bed isn’t a comforter at all. Barely a light blanket that barely covers the bed. When we went to breakfast, food was gone, there was no employee to help or refill items.

Definitely not a luxury stay, but is adequate for a quick night’s sleep in the road which is all we needed. Overall, it was safe and convenient, but the facilities and rooms could use updating and better cleaning. Both our rooms had some dead bugs, and did not look thoroughly cleaned, but were not terribly dirty either. Our tub had mildew stains around the edges on the caulking (bleach can remove this!) and the tub itself was very worn and discolored from age. Breakfast is included, but was a little sad. Overall, you get what you pay for. Not bad, but not really that great either.

If you’re just looking for a place to sleep, then yes, I wouldn’t pay 3x as much for nearby hotels in McPherson. If you’re looking for clean, updated, amenities, this won’t be the place for you. A few bugs in the bathroom, musty smell in the room, but I didn’t feel unsafe, bed was fine. Unfortunately, I stayed on a weekend where there was a dog show of some sort, so there were dogs barking in other rooms, one through the night.

I rented 2 rooms. One room had dirty sheets and had get new bedding. The door looked like it had a pry bar used on it. One room was covered in mold/mildew. They gave us a new room that had a floor that needed vacuumed and the carpet was wet by the door. Both rooms had dead bugs.

We love the big family room. It is great for us and our two grown boys.

Price was right. Check in difficult- credit card machine didn’t work 3 x. Staff had to call boss to get it working. Room rear door had a broken off & missing night safety latch. Toilet run on. Needed a new flap. Check out time 11 AM verbally not the NOON posted time on room card. Slept ok.

the hotel was an older one and needs paint touchup and some renovations but over all clean and very friendly staff. it was one of the last hotels left on a busy weekend and it was what I expected for what I paid. Bed was comfortable and the room was pleasant. Had the amenities that we needed.

Bathroom was a little dirty. TV turned in but cable didn’t work. Phone in room didn’t work either so I couldn’t call the front desk. We also didn’t have any sheets for the pull out bed. It was too late at night and too cold to walk back to the front desk and ask for things.

The first room we were shown to was completely run down and had a funny smell. There was a huge spider in the bathtub. When we asked to see what else was available the staff was very polite and put us in a much better room. After the move to the new room I would say my biggest complaint was the lack of WiFi. The breakfast was okay.

The room had cob webs and was noisy all night like people walking above. The main door in doesn’t seal, you could see light around it.

Front desk attendants were friendly and helpful when I requested more towels. However, room smelled strongly of cigarettes and marijuana. Management should look at investing in an Ozone machine to address pungent odor problems. Paint is peeling away from the walls, dingy shower curtain, and stained bathtub. The room met our basic needs but definitely lacking in general upkeep.

Well, the best thing about my staying there it was the break fast that was my favorite part, but the day I check I I got a room that someone was already there, then the firs morning, a housekeeper knocked on my door saying “housekeeper “ so I got up and told her not today we still sleeping, then one night my toilet got clogged so I went to the front office to notify and the lady said “we don’t have any maintenance right now unless you want to do it so I asked her for the plunger and we went to look for it, guess what I had to do it my self, well I didn’t get room service after all and I had to go ask for clean towels that was my experience.

Clean rooms, friendly staff, service with a smile. We've been here for a month and the staff has been very nice.

Maintenance man barged into our room unannounced for no reason and managements answer was “oh well, it happens!”

Very nice check in experience super nice room and great front desk person

We had to last minute book a hotel stay here after breakdown with our camper. What landed us here was their availability to bring our dogs with us. I was worried reading some reviews previously but we have had the BEST experience. First of all, it couldn’t have got more affordable. Second, hauling all of our kids and dogs, our bedroom had FOUR beds & SO much space so no one had to be close to eachother if we didn’t want too. I had some trouble reaching the hotel prior to our visit, I was able to send them a message via our booking app, and the GM called me personally on her own time while she wasn’t even at the hotel. She answered all of our questions & was so kind to us. Breakfast was awesome! They had lots of choices for us and the kids as well. Everyone was extremely polite walking into breakfast as well. We went to the pool & it was extremely clean & our kiddos had so much fun. They said we could bring our own floats & had a shallow end for our small kiddos and a deeper end (9 foot) for us! In a rush, I forgot to ask them about checkout. I texted the GM to see if we could do a late checkout, she responded immediately and was happy to allow us to have a late checkout so our kiddos could have some swim time before we had to go. We have had a great experience. Our room WAS clean. And while we were swimming we watched multiple people out cleaning rooms in the 95 degree weather and 35 mph wind. So I definitely could see that rooms were being cleaned despite other reviews.

Was given a key to a room that was already occupied. How unpleasant! Had to go back get another key for another room!

The receptionist didn't seem to know what she was doing. She said she was not familiar with the computer system. Out key didn't work at the door. I had to go back to get another one. The breakfast was a joke....2 yogarts, 2 pieces of bread for toast and that was about it;

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Felt safe and location is close to restaurants, coffee, and stores. Would recommend this hotel to others traveling through.

Don’t book online unless you want to stand at the front desk for hours while they figure it out

Easy to get to. Close to destination. Pleasant. All we wanted or needed. No pool but didn't want one.

I was pleasantly surprised at how nice everything was, especially for the price. Will definitely stay here again instead of paying over a hundred for the ability to use an elevator. Staff friendly. Breakfast delicious. Clean room. Near Walmart and fast food options.

Clean room, we were comfortable. Didn't get to try pool but looked very nice and clean, other people were enjoying the pool. Location was great neat shopping, restaurants etc. Good stay.

Great Location and Quiet Stay Though a bit outdated, the place is very quiet and in an excellent location for business. The front desk lady is also very friendly.

Very easy to find and check in. The location was very convenient. The rooms were very good for the price and a weekend stay.

Great breakfast with several choices and real breakfast items. There was biscuit and gravy, eggs smoked sausage along with options like fruit, coffee, juice, oatmeal, toast, pastries, yogurt and more. We stay at motels frequently and it was the most complete breakfast I have seen recently. Overall good stay, quiet, with clean room. Not fancy but great value at price for roon.

The room itself was spacious and provided great bedding options for our family of five. However, the stairs and hallway outside our room were filthy. It was advertised to have an indoor pool but did not. There was no toilet paper on the roll in our bathroom.The breakfast included was a joke. We would not book this hotel again.

I realize It's an older building with new management. They are doing what they can to upgrade. The continental breakfast is lacking selections which they are also working on. They sent us to a neighboring motel, with a more complete breakfast and who they are working with for a better selection for breakfast, which we appreciated greatly. Ice machines were not working. Television guides (channel selections or what was available) were missing. Local information for dining or shopping was also unavailable. There were no note pads or writing utensils available for us to write down information for the area. We understand that the unit is under new management and we hope them the best. Other than the items mentioned, the room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and our stay was just fine for a 1 night layover. Thank You.
