Great hotel overall. Rooms are great. Busy and noisy road, but amazing views of the river and valley. Only complaint, they didn’t tell me parking was not available at the hotel. Had to pay for private parking about a kilometer away.

The hotel is a good value for the money. Nice location, great views, and onsite restaurant and rooftop bar were nice added touches all in one spot. There is onsite parking, but very limited, so make sure you inquire upon your arrival or in advance. However, we were accommodated very nicely by Davy, guest relations representative who stepped in, when necessary to make sure how stay was very enjoyable and consistent with the reservations made in advance. He also spoke English, French and Portuguese, which was helpful to us and other guests, as well, based on my observations. I rated the staff a 4, only because they sometimes needed assistance from their colleagues when meeting needs, but always met the need, and the hotel made sure there was sufficient experienced staff to assist when needed. I can't say enough about Davy. He knows how to make you feel welcomed and appreciated as a guest. I highly recommend this hotel and would stay again. The view from the rooftop is one of the best in the city, and the "in room" portable massage unit was of a quality that surprised me. It actually took some of the kinks out and was very relaxing! They had a spa, but my schedule did not allow me to take advantage of that service. Be well!

We went here for our honeymoon. We picked the location because of the river views and the onsite spa. When we checked in, the receptionist also promoted the spa services. On our last night at the hotel, we tried to reserve a massage, and we were told the spa staff member was on vacation for the next 10 days. I don't understand why this was promoted as a service if it was unavailable. We asked the staff member if they had any other recommendations, and they responded that any of the spas in the area were good, which was not helpful. They also advertised a bar discount in the elevator, but the bar staff was confused about it, and the front desk said they didn't have that promotion, so I'm not sure why they kept it displayed in the elevator. Most of the hotel was clean, but when we walked through the atrium to the spa/meeting room side, there were hoards of flies all around the entrance, which was unappealing. We loved Porto and plan to return, but we will stay at another hotel.

Only drawback was lack of parking, compounded by confusion on where to park - we ended up in public car park -which cost us 21 Euros for overnight stay. Vehicle access to front of hotel to offload bags also tricky - would have appreciated more detailed instructions prior to arrival.

New, modern hotel overlooking the river. There's a upper level bar with great views. It's a little bit of a walk (10min) to get the the center of town, but the advantage is the area around the hotel is very peaceful. They have bicycles for use (free). We had a great time there.

Very clean great beds and pillows. We got a nice upgrade in a room with river view. The breakfast was very good and the servers were very attentive. You can park on the street if you find a spot, otherwise the parking is 10 minutes away from the hotel. The hotel is 15 minutes away from the city center which keeps you away from the business of the crowds. Great experience!

Eigentlich war das Zimmer gut ausgestattet. Leider lies die Reinigung echt zu wünschen übrig. Wir haben Haare auf dem Teppich bemängelt und das das Bad nach der ersten Nacht unter Wasser stand. Leider war das Wasserthema nichts Unbekanntes. Man hat deutlich an den Steinfliesen gesehen, dass es nicht das erste Mal war. Insbesondere das wir am Morgen die Reinigung beauftragt hatten und am Nachmittag um 16 Uhr dann noch mal gehen mussten, weil nichts geschehen war, ärgerte uns sehr. Wir mussten die Reinigungskraft sogar zurückrufen, da die Haare immer noch vorhanden waren. Schade da das Hotel an sich wirklich einen guten Eindruck machen könnte. Echter Pluspubkt ist die Bar auf dem Dach.

We were thrilled with our stay at Neya. We were there 2 nights and appreciated that they had parking for guests (20Euros/night) but they also allowed us to park our car there before check in. Check in was fast and every staff we met were so friendly and accommodating. We were grateful for the river view superior room upgrade which was a lovely to wake up to. The room was immaculate especially the bathroom which is so important for us. And the hotel was in a great location we never moved the car! We walked 15-20 minutes into city center or took the bus which was 3 minutes away.

Overall the service is excellent, only one comment which I shared with the front office, water leaks out from the shower easily, therefore, in our room there was water stain on the floor, they can possibly correct it to protect their property.

Absolut tolles Hotel, sehr sauber, freundliches Personal, sprachen alle hervorragend englisch, gab zusätzlich zum bestellten Früchtekorb noch eine kleine Aufmerksamkeit des Hauses mit einer handgeschriebenen Karte. Tolle Aussicht auf den Douro vom Zimmer aus. Tolle Bar mit Terrasse mit Blick ebenfalls auf den Douro. Das Hotel ist in allen Belangen zu empfehlen.

Dirty. Stained carpet and dust covered air vents. The shower pan is not angled properly, so the water does not drain. Instead, the water runs into the bathroom. This problem is probably why the room smells odd.

Wir hatten ein normales Doppelzimmer gebucht und sogar eins mit Flussblick bekommen, das war sehr erfreulich, der Ausblick war morgens wie abends super! Hotelpersonal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Hauseigene Dachterrasse mit tollem Ausblick für abendliche Drinks und Snacks ist auch vorhanden. Zimmer: Wir hatten zwei zusammengestellte Einzelbetten. Matratzen angenehm fest, große Kissenauswahl vorhanden. Klimaanlage sehr leise und damit auch nachts nicht störend. Safe ist kostenfrei im Zimmer verfügbar. Lage: 15-20 Minuten fußläufig zum Hafenviertel Ribeira, 30 Minuten in die Innenstadt (inkl. steilem Berg). Zwei Buslinien fahren relativ regelmäßig quasi direkt vor dem Hotel (3 Minuten Fußweg). Wir hätten auch kostenlos Fahrräder ausleihen können, haben das aber nicht in Anspruch genommen. Loved the hand written welcome note in my room with the pastels. Nice touch. The view from 204 was amazing. The bed was REALLY REALLY firm. The shower had some drainage issues because the floor wasn’t angled properly for the water to run down so you had to push it to the drain. This was not fun for 2 days. Ubers were easy to get And really cheap here. They stick to the check in time so I went to explore until then. I would stay again but I would ask about a softer mattress.

Beautiful hotel on the banks of the Duoro. We had a duplex which gave us beautiful views. Hotel surroundings were lovely and peaceful. Room was comfortable with lovely added extras. Great choice at breakfast

We stayed here the day before we had to leave Portugal and we needed a place with parking for our rental car. Check in went smoothly, the parking garage was clean, safe and secure. The location was walking distance to the Ribeira. And our River View room was the perfect way to end our Portugal trip!!! Opening the window doors and just sitting out watching the boats on the river was a highlight! Staff was all great and the hotel was gorgeous!

I appreciated that the hotel was green and trying to make our earth a better place to live. Staying there made me feel like I was contributing to the effort. The only complaint I would have is how difficult it was to turn the air conditioner on and that the charging stations for electronics were not working or charged very slowly. However none of that deterred me from having a good time. The views were wonderful.

Room was hotter than the sun when we went. AC unit kept turning itself off and I almost combusted in my bed that night. Shower head must have needed tightening as water sprayed all over the bathroom walls and floor. Bed was comfy though. I’m sure the duvet was lovely but wasn’t needed.

Very convenient for walking to the sights. Walk along river to the restaurants took approximately 15 minutes. It’s all on the flat so perfect. 10 minutes uphill to the historic centre. Air conditioning was not strong enough - it was 30 degrees when we visited. We let reception know when we left so hopefully feedback gets taken onboard. Fabulous roof top bar, great place to chill over a drink and enjoy Porto.

Terrible experience with a staff member. His name is Hugo. He was incompetent. He does not know what he is doing. When we checked out, he charged us 20 E for parking and according to Expedia we were supposed to pay only 18. When we told him, he did not know how to make changes in the invoice. He also gave the invoice of another customer. When I asked to speak to another staff member, he stated that he was the only one available. Because we were in a rush to leave, we left the hotel with no invoice. We asked him to email it, but we have not received it.

We stayed there before, was way better, now seems lost the way, need to improve. Check-in is not welcoming, until we met the manager who was amazing ,we saw no courtesy or professional attentive behavior, kind of staff a bit lost. Breakfast could improve a lot, is a mess, no offer of out of buffett were accepted without exitation, choices are poor, breads are terrible like worst of a supermarket packaged, staff not welcoming, coffee machine broken, 10 minutes prior to end the staff opened the coffee machines so no one could use, and started to clean the room with chemical cleaners, moving chairs while customers still seated finishing eating. Total disrespect and a health issue and hazard cleaning and vacuuing while customers there, after complain the supervisor or so told me "breakfast is over" like by the clock we were not welcoming anymore. Really lack of experience on customer service.

The hotel is a good value for the money. Nice location, great views, and onsite restaurant and rooftop bar were nice added touches all in one spot. There is onsite parking, but very limited, so make sure you inquire upon your arrival or in advance. However, we were accommodated very nicely by Davy, guest relations representative who stepped in, when necessary to make sure how stay was very enjoyable and consistent with the reservations made in advance. He also spoke English, French and Portuguese, which was helpful to us and other guests, as well, based on my observations. I rated the staff a 4, only because they sometimes needed assistance from their colleagues when meeting needs, but always met the need, and the hotel made sure there was sufficient experienced staff to assist when needed. I can't say enough about Davy. He knows how to make you feel welcomed and appreciated as a guest. I highly recommend this hotel and would stay again. The view from the rooftop is one of the best in the city, and the "in room" portable massage unit was of a quality that surprised me. It actually took some of the kinks out and was very relaxing! They had a spa, but my schedule did not allow me to take advantage of that service. Be well!

We were thrilled with our stay at Neya. We were there 2 nights and appreciated that they had parking for guests (20Euros/night) but they also allowed us to park our car there before check in. Check in was fast and every staff we met were so friendly and accommodating. We were grateful for the river view superior room upgrade which was a lovely to wake up to. The room was immaculate especially the bathroom which is so important for us. And the hotel was in a great location we never moved the car! We walked 15-20 minutes into city center or took the bus which was 3 minutes away.

Dinner in the restaurant was excellent. A modern, elegant twist on Portuguese specialties. I like that there were several places to sit and relax after a long day of walking. There is a rooftop bar, the main lobby, and also a quiet courtyard. I am a solo traveller and I found this hotel to be very welcoming and comfortable!

The front desk staff is bad. They make u wait for a long time and still don’t know the answer. One young woman couldn’t book me for another night . I went on orbitz and book myself in less than a minute. I had to wait one hour , hoping to book directly with them. Then the room they gave me had a smell. I had to wait another hour before they change me to a different room. ( it was in January and the hotel was not full)

When we arrived the hotel the first day, a girl called Joyna behind front desk helped us move luggages into our room. We thanked her and she replied:" It's my job." The second day we went out and my wife (77) fell on the stairs. A gentleman behind the front-desk helped my wife to stand up and asked her if she need some ice. When we left for airport, this Gentleman helped us put luggage in the taxi.

Sehr schönes, modern eingerichtetes Hotel, direkt am Douro gelegen. Wir hatten ein normales Doppelzimmer gebucht und sogar eins mit Flussblick bekommen, das war sehr erfreulich, der Ausblick war morgens wie abends super! Hotelpersonal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Hauseigene Dachterrasse mit tollem Ausblick für abendliche Drinks und Snacks ist auch vorhanden. Zimmer: Wir hatten zwei zusammengestellte Einzelbetten. Matratzen angenehm fest, große Kissenauswahl vorhanden. Klimaanlage sehr leise und damit auch nachts nicht störend. Safe ist kostenfrei im Zimmer verfügbar. Lage: 15-20 Minuten fußläufig zum Hafenviertel Ribeira, 30 Minuten in die Innenstadt (inkl. steilem Berg). Zwei Buslinien fahren relativ regelmäßig quasi direkt vor dem Hotel (3 Minuten Fußweg). Wir hätten auch kostenlos Fahrräder ausleihen können, haben das aber nicht in Anspruch genommen. Essen: Auswahl am Frühstücksbuffet war gut, aber wenig abwechslungsreich, Standard internationales Hotelbuffet. Das hauseigene Restaurant haben wir nicht genutzt. We stayed for a couple of days at Neya hotel and our stay was good. The shower had an odd smell but nothing too bad, and the area where the hotel is located has a very nice view of Gaiam. The hotel is not close to the city center, but provided it has a very nice view of the river for me it was worth it.

Everything was as expected. Decent location for walking to Ribeira, close for trams uphill to Historic Centre. Spotlessly clean and super comfortable rooms. Nice rooftop bar. Breakfast was chaotic, poorly laid out, clients and staff all bumping into each other.

We stayed at the Neya Porto for a 4 night break. The hotel is located on the banks of the river and has good bus & tram links into the centre. We had a suite overlooking the Douro which was delightful. The room was spacious, well appointed and clean. The breakfast was top class with range of options. We spent each evening on the Ultimo rooftop terrace for drinks and views of the city. Memorable.

Fijne bedden, een prachtig uitzicht vanaf het dakterras en vanuit de ontbijtzaal. Bij het ontbijt werkten de koffieapparaten doorgaans niet, waardoor er lange rijen stonden. Het ontbijtbuffet was redelijk gevarieerd. Personeel liep wat geïrriteerd/zuchtend rond. Hotel ligt ongeveer 15 min. lopen vanaf het historische centrum, dus wat dat betreft een prima locatie. In de kamer, was het jammer dat de gordijnen gedeeltelijk los hingen bijv. (Makkelijk op te lossen). Wel schoon.

Nice large room, fantastically located along the river with great views. It's got a lovely rooftop bar (although music was very loud) also with amazing skyline views. Breakfast also had a good selection of hot food and continental offerings. It's also located in a building that used to be a monastery and is connected to an old church - historic with good architecture.

The room and the hotel are well maintainedand we had a great view of the river on a balcony. The page states there is parking, but when we arrived we were told there was no room for our car. We had to go to a public parking lot and walk back to the hotel. The next day I asked and there was a parking space for us ,but to my surprise as we left we were charged 22 euros per night. The website should claraly state they have 23 parking spots for 100 rooms and should state that the guest will be charged. It is also a healthy walk to get to the central part of the city and the hills are steep to visit places. Some staff were helpful and other fairly indifferent.

Excellent location walk to the Ponte Luis and riverside tabernas. In the quiet part of town with unobstructed view of the Duoro River. Breakfast is superlative.

This hotel was beautiful! Great location and super accommodating. The location was perfect. Close to everything without being in a super crowded area. We enjoyed the terrace bar immensely. Highly recommend!
