The Palace was outstanding- recently renovated, wxcellent staff and a short walk from ALL the key sights in Oporto. Breakfast was also outstanding and creative. Parking on site was also secure. Loved it.

Nice apartment. Great location. Very walkable. Great helpful stahl. Rooms are basic need some renovations. They charge 25 euro for parking at the back yard of the hotel.

The apartment was large and very well equipped, including an eat-in kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine, a living room, bedroom with ensuite bathroom, and a separate powder room. The room was quiet and the hotel was a lovely building and grounds. There was secure parking on-site. The staff were wonderful, welcoming, friendly and professional. I would return here. Highly recommend.

Es ist ein alter Palace, an dem man nicht viel verändern darf (äusserlich). Darum gibt es z.B. keinen Treppenlift von der Strasse zur Reception, oder das Frühstück wird im Nebenhaus serviert. Aber man gibt sich grosse Mühe, dem Gast alle Wünsche zu erfüllen.

sehr gute unterkunft mitten in porto. sehr freundliches personal, gut organisiert. grossartiges frühstück. einzig die parkplatzgebühr war mit eur 25/ tag etwas zu hoch.

This property is beautiful. Parking available in the same property. Walk about 2 minutes and have the amazing views from the bridge. On top of that we got a continental breakfast every morning included. 24 hour help at front desk. Can’t beat the price and location of this hotel.

It was a very enjoyable stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The property was well maintained and clean. There was on site parking but most attractions were within walking distances. All in all an ideal place to stay while in Porto.

We had an excellent stay. From the time of booking, the staff at the Condes de Azevedo Palace made sure we were looked after. The apartment was a mixture of the old, new and the quirky, which I particularly liked. Front of house were always on hand and happy to offer advice on everything about Porto. The secret garden was a great place to go for a quiet drink. I would highly recommend this beautiful location as the perfect base to explore an amazing city. Would definitely stay again.

The communication was clear and the staff were very friendly and kind. The property itself is a historical building and beautiful. The apartment we had was spacious with working appliances and umbrellas that were handy for the rain. The bathrooms is our apartment were terrible - there was only a filthy shower curtain separating the shower form the rest of the bathroom which ended up getting soaked. The walk up the stairs to the bedroom was tricky at night as the floor and stairs are same colour and I tripped. Besides the bathrooms, the other major issues as the constant upsell - for example we were told if we pull out the pull-out couch it was a 40€ fee. They left 4 coffee pods for 4 people to use over 5 days - if we wanted more 2€ each - luckily we bought them at grocery store for 20 cents each. Overall, the property is beautiful, in an excellent location, is safe with kind, friendly staff. I also appreciated the quick intro to the area around the hotel but found the rest I recommendations to be overpriced and extremely touristy. We were able to find better restaurants in the area and half the price for the same or similar meals.

The location is excellent, while the receptionist was very kind and helpful. However, the place wasn’t clean, and the apartment although being spacious felt a little empty and cold. Cleaning is done only by request. An ok place, but probably will Not return.

The location was good.... but the place looked much nicer in the photos than it was in person. Don't get me wrong, the VALUE was OK , but it smelled kind of musty and the sound travelled far in this stone building.

The apartments are in a perfect location for every landmark you'd wish to visit. The accommodation is very stylish, spotlessly clean and comfortable. You have everything you need in this up market apartment also making it a great place to relax after walking up and down the challenging hills of Porto. All the staff were excellent and we were made to feel so welcome by the front of house team from the moment we checked in with a glass of port and a very helpful introduction to this lovely city. A special mention must also go to the breakfast team. The bespoke preparation of quality food all delivered with such care and a warm smile. No better way to start the day!

The staff was so helpful and friendly. Upon arrival they checked us in and gave us tips for the area, and even made reservations for our first night’s dinner. We learned through the staff that, without reservations it will be hard to find a place for dinner. The apartment was large and comfortable and generally very clean. The only minor issue we encountered is that under the sheet, there is a mattress cover that didn’t seem clean - had hair and other dirt particles. It was nice to have a clothes washer and a dryer rack. The location is also in an area that is close to many attractions within walking distance!

We had 2-bedroom apartment w a full kitchen. The living room and kitchen are decent sized w vaulted ceiling. The problem we had was the bathrooms. The showrooms are just too small and awkward and water is either too cold or too hot and make it impossible to take a shower in. Staff seems to be nice… not until my son just could not find his newly purchased stuffed animal inside the apartment… and i was told I am going to be charged w the cost of an umbrella which we never borrowed… very sketchy

Perfect location in Porto! The front desk welcomed us with wine & gave us details on what’s in the area to explore & made dining recommendations. Included breakfast was excellent each day. Will definitely stay here again! One note: I traveled with 3 tall people (6’0-6’4”) & they couldn’t use the showers in the en suite bathrooms. There’s a full bath with shower downstairs that accommodated them instead. The tubs are spacious but slippery, so use caution getting in & out of them. Not a deal breaker on staying at this fantastic spot!

This hotel was an absolute unicorn. We were a group of 6 women who wanted our own space but to be together and this hotel totally hit the mark. Each unit had multiple bedrooms and bathrooms, all of which had character and incredibly clean. The location was perfection (2 min walk from Dom Luis bridge). Staff were very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend for families and small groups.

Fantastic property, lots of character in the building but the apartments are well furnished with modern bathrooms and spacious. Great location on the edge of the historic centre and 3 minutes from the famous bridge. Staff were all extremely friendly and very helpful. The continental breakfast was delicious each morning with a good selection plus freshly baked cakes each day. This place is a real gem and we would recommend it to anyone visiting Porto.

An amazing place to stay to visit Porto. Could not be better located. The 2 bedroom apartment was beautiful, ample space and very well equipped if you went for longer than the 3 nights we did. The staff were brilliant too, could not fault it. Would be nice if there was a bar to relax in at the end of the evening but not a game changer.

This was one of the nicest hotels I have stayed at in Europe. The rooms are extremely spacious with modern amenities and luxurious bathrooms. The kitchen and washing machine were a real plus! I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Porto. The location is perfect for seeing the town. Supurb!

Really loved staying here, it felt like we lived in Porto! We had our own apartment in the heart of the historic city. Easy to walk everywhere and peaceful in evenings. Diego & Marisa welcomed us with exceptional warmth and recommendations - thank you! We had a one bedroom loft apartment - it was very modern and stylishly decorated, absolutely to our taste. Our little doggie was made to feel very welcome too. Fully equipped kitchen, even with washing machine which was very helpful as we are travelling for many weeks. Large comfy bed and bathroom with large walk in shower & huge bathtub. Parking was a little expensive at 25 euros per night, but it was well protected and considering there's almost zero street parking, it was the best option. A lot of other places don't have parking at all. Would defo stay here again. 5***

Having a private parking area was a plus as we were doing a driving tour of Portugal to visit other towns and Porto.Our receptionist was incredibley helpful, booking our Antique classice car for Port Tasting plus tour and also Liveiera Lello bookstore. The location was terrific as you can cross the Luis Bridge to get to GAIA and also walk down the hills or take staeps down to the Riebera District next to the waterfront. I am definielty staying here again!!!

The perfect place to stay in Porto. Extremely friendly and helpful staff and a beautiful loft room made this a holiday to remember, fabulous breakfast too! The property is ideally placed to explore Porto, and is easily walkable from the main Metro stations. I highly recommend it!

Everything was very smooth , everyone was very helpful, especially Diego and Marisa with dinner , lunch reservations, landmarks to visit , booking of tours . We hopefully will return with our whole family soon. The location was great within walking distance to most sites, And was concern about noise at first , as it seems in a busy street , but I guess the windows are double panes , and really so quiet. Just perfect stay overall .

The suites and the common areas are stunning. We had a 1-bedroom suite, with a large living room (with large windows) and well-equipped kitchen. The beds are very comfortable. The hotel staff was very helpful and accommodating, and gave us good advice about restaurants and touring around Porto.

We loved our stay at Condes de Azevedo Palace. The staff were amazing, the building quite interesting and the apartment perfect for our needs. The location was also very good for our needs. Very central, easy walking or train to anywhere we needed to go. Also close enough to the river. Just overall a great experience. We can't wait to go back.

This hotel is in the perfect location. Walking distance to everything and close proximity to the Dom Luis bridge. The apartment was a stunning mix of old and new. The original windows and staircase leading up to the second floor was a beautiful nod to the past. We had more than enough room in our apartment. It was two floors with two large bathrooms and bedrooms. Could easily accommodate a family. Just a warning though for you girlies that like to use hair tools - there are no outlets in the bathrooms so you have to do your styling in a main room without a mirror. I guess a small price to pay for staying in a hundreds year old palace!

It was such a treat to stay for 2 nights in a lovely 2-storey apartment in this 17th-18th century neoclassical mansion! Everything was well-designed, and I had everything I needed. The coffee maker and washing machine were bonuses. Nice view from the mini balconies across the garden to the city, including of the famous Clérigos clock tower. Breakfast was very good, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Ideal location close to many sights, the river and transport, as well as shops and eateries, but quiet at night. Definitely a favourite among the 15 places I stayed during my trip!

This is a lovely place right in the heart of Oporto. But be ready for lots of hills if you plan to visit the river side as it is in the upper part of the city. The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful with recommendations and reservations. If you can, reserve suite 7. It’s a separate building which was once the old kitchen. It comes complete with exposed brick and historical features such as a water font. It had a full kitchen and washer/dryer which was very useful after several weeks of travel. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the bathrooms were a good size. The location is good but parking was a challenge. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Porto.

This property is beautiful. Parking available in the same property. Walk about 2 minutes and have the amazing views from the bridge. On top of that we got a continental breakfast every morning included. 24 hour help at front desk. Can’t beat the price and location of this hotel.

The only negative was the breakfast and the cost of it, definitely not worth it. Also I would tell guests to take a taxi from the Sao Bento station instead of walking uphill with luggage.

The property location is great, walking distance to many points of interest. The loft room is spacious and has many amenities. The clothes washer was essential for our trip. The option of a full kitchen is nice. Breakfast was good. There is a nice patio area where you can hang out. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Overall the room was clean but when we checked in there were many flies in the room.
