Our honeymoon at Cayo Levantado felt like a dream come true. From the moment we arrived, we were in awe of the beauty and care we experienced. The exceptional service, stunning views, and attention to every detail made this an unforgettable trip. We want to give a special thank you to the amazing team: • Sol at the beach, who was always sweet and recommended the best drinks. • Carlos at the beach, who made sure we had incredible drink suggestions. • Augusto at the restaurants, who provided flawless and attentive service. • Angelito, who kindly transported us in the carts with such warmth. • Jefris, the manager, who ensured every aspect of our stay was perfect. • Emmanuela, our ambassador, who went above and beyond to care for us. The food options were incredible, offering a variety of flavors to enjoy. The pools and the beach were breathtaking, and the room was always impeccably cleaned, adding a sense of luxury to our stay. Todo el personal está extremadamente bien entrenado a ser simpático y ofrecer excelente servicio. Han hecho tremendo trabajo al seleccionar el personal. La calidad de la comida es muy buena. Las habitaciones son comodas y muy bien diseñadas, y la nuestra tuvo buena vista. Dos detalles menores: el interfaz con la tele no funciona bien y la "piscina" de la terraza de la habitación es tan pequeña que resulta ser una decepcion. La playa es agradable, bonita y bien atendida por meseros pero pequeña y un poco fangosa. La musica moderna alta desentona con la personalidad de la propiedad. Las piscinas son agradables. El gimnasio esta buen equipado y bien mantenido. En resumen, la mejor propiedad en Samana.

Our experience at the resort was excellent. We were very well received and accompanied by ambassador Eddyl, who managed to attend to our group masterfully. The facilities are impeccable; everything is well-maintained, modern, and impeccably clean. The island's natural beauty boasts breathtaking landscapes. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and have high-quality linens. The gym has excellent equipment and professional supervision from Julio. The pools are beautiful, and the beach area is very comfortable. The service there was also excellent; Julio, always cheerful and available, Edward, discreet and competent, and Glen, who truly went out of his way to assist us in EVERYTHING. The cuisine is varied and delicious, with a highlight being the seafood. Yazmin, the Food & Drink manager, made perfect adaptations to our style of enjoying the beach with snacks and drinks. An exceptional professional. Thank you! In the restaurants, the service from Alan, Luiz, Miguelina, and Esmilsi was impeccable, with special mention to Miguel, always smiling and present everywhere. The hotel's surroundings are beautiful, as is the beach, but what truly made the stay special was the attention from the entire team, including Emanuelle, with her contagious smile. Even those not mentioned showed genuine willingness to provide a great experience. As an area for improvement, the all-inclusive system could be refined; outside of the defined hours, drinks and meals were slow to arrive or unavailable.

The level of attention we received far exceeded expectations—there were so many staff members that it felt like a 3-to-1 ratio with guests! Special thanks to Yojandi and Karmen at the coffee shop for their smiles and lovely chats, Prenda Lis, Ivan, and Mauricio for their fantastic drinks, Emma for her warm hospitality, and Ivan at the towel station for his excellent beach service. Despite heavy rain throughout our stay, we had an amazing time—a testament to the hotel and its staff. Set on the beautiful Cayo Levantado, the resort blends traditional charm with sustainable, modern touches. The lush gardens, immaculate rooms, and comfortable furnishings reflect exceptional attention to detail—the best I’ve experienced in the Caribbean. The spacious rooms were pristine, with thoughtful touches like nightly turndown gifts. Dining was exceptional, rivaling fine restaurants in Europe. The beach was stunning, the loungers comfortable, and the wellness activities outstanding. Outdoor yoga in the serene Yubarta area was a highlight, thanks to Carla and her team. Suggestions: Add more Dominican music at the beach to enhance the Caribbean vibe. Overall, this was the best hotel stay ever, and I can’t wait to return. Llegamos al hotel a las 12:40pm, desde la recepción inicio una experiencia maravillosa, Mike fue amable, atento y nos hizo sentir que llegamos a un lugar de paz y relajación El lobby está hermoso, una decoración impecable. Las personas del bote que te lleva hasta el cayo, me hicieron sentir que estaba de vacaciones, me desconecte de mi vida cotidiana en minutos. Al llegar al hotel Julissa me hizo sentir especial, tuvimos un asenso de habitación que no esperaba y me puse feliz, habitación frente al mar, una delicia. Todos en el hotel son súper amables, se nota la calidad del entrenamiento y la selección de sus colaboradores. Algo que me alegro mucho ver es que la mayoría de los colaboradores son de Samaná y cuando les pregunto responde “nacido y criado en samana “ con una gran sonrisa en sus caras. Nuestros mayordomos Ángel y Adrian, siempre nos mantienen informados de lo que ocurre en el hotel. Cuando vas a la playa te preparan el chair long de forma especial y las personas del bar se desviven por hacerte sentir como reyes La comida es a la carta, no tuvimos la oportunidad de ver cómo funcionan estilo buffet, pero no me hizo falta. The resort is very well balanced, the wellness is of high quality. Beautiful nature and the food is delicious. Only thing that doesn’t make sense is the dipping pool on the balcony. It’s not heated and has zero comfort.

My wife and I travelled to Cayo Levantado to celebrate her 40th birthday. This 5-Star resort deserves all 5 stars! Every detail in the resort is well designed with a modern chic experience and provides luxurious amenities. Due to our work schedules, we only stayed 2 nights, and it was worth every penny. As soon as you arrive to the Santo Domingo airport, there is a 2.5 hour private transfer to the port of Samana. From the port of Samana a short 10 minute private boat transfers you to this private oasis. The island has beautiful beaches, crystal clear water fronts, pools and great cuisine. One of the standout features of this resort is the impeccable service. The staff members are some of the friendliest and most attentive individuals I have ever encountered. They go above and beyond to ensure that every guest's needs are met, always with a smile on their faces. Whether it was arranging restaurant reservations, suggesting activities, or simply providing helpful tips, they were always there to assist, making our stay even more enjoyable. We were personally assigned 2 ambassadors who were available to assist us 24-7 which made the trip stress free. Our Ambassadors names were Marco and Rosa, and they were absolutely amazing! The accommodations at Cayo Levantado Resort are nothing short of luxurious. My room was beautifully appointed, offering both comfort and style. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect, from the plush bedding to the modern amenities provided.

My daughter and I had a perfect getaway at Cayo Levantado -- from the beautiful room, to the gorgeous facilities, and the impeccable service, it was just what we were looking for! While waiting for our boat to CLR, we loved chatting with Mike Anderson and getting some help with our Spanish! We are kicking ourselves for not taking more advantage of the many classes and activities offered during our time, but the beautiful beach and pools were just so inviting we had trouble dragging ourselves away. Julio took excellent care of all of our food and drink needs at the beach/pool, and Mariela was always available to answer any questions we had. We will no doubt be back soon!

Without a doubt is a beautiful resort. The service is horrible! For the money they charge a lot more is expected. The majority of the staff expecting a tip and will treat you indifferent if you don’t tip them. No options for food, you basically have to eat what they have or go hungry. It was my birthday and I checked out before my time. No entertainment and no options provided. You either go with their all inclusive itinerary which doesn’t include much or pay more out of pocket. Very bad experience!

Where to begin….? Absolutely everything about this place exceeded my expectations, and that is an understatement. The magic that this place holds, specifically because of its people captivated me in every possible way; to the extent I decided to stay another day as I did not want to leave. I’ve traveled to many many places and hotels (non all inclusive and all inclusive) and this is by far the best experience I’ve ever had. The attention to detail in every part of the hotel from the actual property, to the food and to the staff is simply magical. I want to give thanks to everyone at Cayo Levantado Resort for making our stay as unforgettable as it was. Special thanks to Angel (our ambassador), Jhen (who always picked & drop us off everywhere we wanted around the hotel with the biggest smile and most positive energy and attitude), the entertainment group (every single one of you), Durelin & Jeffrey, you guys simply rock! Lastly, the ladies at Yubarta, Mahalia & Daniela, you guys are light; kept us grounded to Mother Earth & helped us elevate our spirits seamlessly. Best place I’ve ever stayed by far. Service like I’ve never experienced in my life. They are so friendly and accommodating. Everything from experiences to rides to different parts of the island are set up by a wonderful ambassador and they are so quick. The resort is beautiful and so many wellness options. The food is also great. I will recommended to everyone I know. I can’t say enough about how incredible it is. I never want to leave.

We stayed in early March for 6 days and loved every day. Frankly, everything was great. We didn't get to try the spa or excursions because we had a 15mo old baby with us, which takes a lot of time, but just the pools and the beach were wonderful. The food was amazing. Each restaurant had fantastic food. Even the breakfast buffet was phenomenal. For drawbacks, getting to the property is a major drag. It's a 3hr ride by car from Santo Domingo. Not much they can do about that, I guess. What they can improve on are two things: quality of coffee (didn't enjoy that at all) and the staff needs to get a bit better on their English. Some are better than others, but most of the time, communication was challenging. You can also communicate with your "ambassador" via WhatsApp and even that was not all smooth sailing, so yeah, staff's English needs to improve. But don't let this hold you back, even with what it is now, it's been a wonderful stay.

The resort was a delight. Beautiful setting, efficient and agreeable staff. We only wish to make a reservation regarding the personal assistant upon arrival who did not explain certain things as she should have. The restaurant reservation system was a bit hectic but in the end another assistant sorted it out and made our evening. We will be back.

This is an incredible resort. The service is unmatched. Ms. Emmanuella in particular was extremely helpful, kind and made our experience better than we could have imagined. The property is great and the staff is good but the only thing is that they staff makes you feel pressured into everything they do you must tip them and if you do tip them if they feel is not enough then the service starts to change and it’s not the same as when you arrive at the property. Also towards the end of the stay the ambassador accompanied other guest but since they didn’t feel we tip them right no one came to use and walked us towards the ferry.

I have traveled quite a bit in my life but never to do an all inclusive. That said I have been to a lot of high end hotels and for the cost/value was one of the best experiences I have ever had. From the caring staff to the stunning beach to the fine food and drink to the amenities/classes you will not be disappointed. Four nights is plenty but could easily enjoy this place for a week.Truly fantastic. The only challenge (not hotel issue) is that for us coming from NYC we have drive 2.5 hours across DR (flew into Santo Domingo) but certain cities do fly direct to Samana. Go here its FABULOUS!

Service and people are super excellent No real beach facilities, small rocky one, and basically they don’t use the “public one”, that’s the better one. In general terms the concept is too expensive for the offering. The wines “included” are cheap ones and the better ones you have to pay additional, with ridiculously increased prices. A 904 that the street value is $ 60, they sell in $ 187, by example. Same with food , is you want the “experience “of their best restaurant, meat one, you have to pay a lot. Don’t know about you, but when I choose an all inclusive concept with that price, i want to forget about consumption inside. Resumed it is a good experience, but too expensive It isn’t worth, there are best choices for less price And again people and service are excellent

Cayo Levantado Resort is literal paradise. Everything looks like it belongs in a magazine! The reason we chose this resort was to avoid sargassum. There was a tiny bit in the water and on the beach. It was not enough to bother us. The food was great, especially breakfast. With it being their slower season, not all of the restaurants were open but we did not get tired of the options we had. The spa was a delight. We did the water therapy circuit, including a sauna, cold plunge, and more. We loved it so much that we did it again the next day, even though spa services were an extra cost. Our ambassador, Jasmelvi, was a great help to us in finding our way around the resort and making reservations. Emily at the Conuco (their garden and learning center) was very sweet and was able to tell me a lot about the plants that they were growing. We spent four nights at the resort, but could have been there longer without ever needing to leave the island. We will be back!
