Not bad for the price, but not excellent either. I've now stayed in 3 different rooms here. The first one was decent, mini fridge, in room single serve coffee, clean bathroom. The second and 3rd rooms didn't have mini fridge so I couldn't keep any leftovers while I was there.. I wasn't looking for a pool, but if you are, this isn't the spot. Breakfast was standard, but included with the hotel rate. I didn't participate because I work early and had to be at the hospital before. The have a small bar that seems to have a few people nightly, but the location is great for several restaurants and bars in the area! Convenient to I-10.

Bar was a nice surprise! 2-3 nice restaurants within walking distance. Spacious areas, room. However, the dressing area/bathroom spaces are poorly appropriated; extremely small vanity, with no place to set out blow dryer, curling iron, makeup.

Parking was a problem arriving after 9:00 pm. Finally tucked the work truck in the back under my 2nd story room. People (same ones) walked through the parking lot all night which made me a little nervous about my truck and equipment in the back. However, important to note, nothing happened and all was well. Just a lot of activity. Bathroom had some hair in the sink. Not a lot. Everything else in the room was fine. Breakfast was clean and good. All employees were very friendly and helpful. I would stop there again on a late run.

Young man at front desk was efficient, personable, and very kind - just the sort of person to make a great first impression. Rooms are newer and nice, comfortable beds. Points off for cleanliness... bathroom door and faucet could have used a better cleaning and caulk at the bottom of the shower was moldy. I've been in better gas station restrooms than the one in their lobby.

The only positive to this place is the front desk staff are very nice. The hallways all smell terrible, like mold/mildew and pet urine. They attempt to cover this up with awful air fresheners and it does not work. The rooms are also extremely poorly ventilated so there is visible mold in the bathroom, all the metal on fixtures are rusting and the nails in the ceiling show rust spots all over the ceiling. The rooms smell so bad or mold/mildew that it is hard to fall asleep because it’s so strong.

The shower faucet room did not work. The maintenance guy was very helpful and came in to replace the shower head. The ceilings had chipping paint which indicated moisture or water damage. The room and had a very strong odor. Lastly, the room was infested with roaches. The roaches had no regards to life and lights. I packed my things and headed on my way.

If you dont mind musty, unclean and moldy hotel this is your place. This was the worst place ive ever stayed in. There was black mold everywhere and the humidity throughout the enyire hotel.was unbearable. I was sick when I woke up! The bathroom had hair everywhere and there were flies all over. Absolutely disgusting!

Hotel looked run down and rooms were quite dirty. Bathroom door was hard to open and close. Sink was clogged. Room smelled musty and was really humid when we got into it. For the cost would NOT recommend.

Room was no bigger than a dorm room. Bathroom had cracked tiles and there was absolutely no counter space. No luggage rack so suitcases had to be opened on the floor. For 70 year olds it’s not that easy. Not a great choice. Pictures on the website did not reflect this hotel.

This hotel left us with some mixed feelings. There are definite positives: the location is great. We felt safe. It’s off the main road so there isn’t road noise. You can walk to restaurants. The staff was friendly and helpful. The property is clean. The breakfast was varied. The things that were negative just really stood out. The double Queen room we booked was tiny. There isn’t a chair or anywhere to sit except on the bed. The bathroom was nice but it has a glass panel running the entire length. Very little privacy! The worst thing was that the building itself felt poorly constructed. I’ve never been able to hear the footsteps of the room above as loudly as in this hotel. It felt like they were going to bust through the floor. This woke us several times in the night. And the door to our room had about an inch clearance off of the floor. This let in so much light and noise from the main lobby area. We would not stay in this hotel again.

I arrived just before 1 PM (early for 3 PM check in), but the desk clerk confirmed the hotel had not sold out the night before and clean rooms were available. However, even though rooms were ready to go, if I wanted access, I had to pay $30. Why? Where is the "hospitality" in that? I could understand if I was asking for a rush cleaning, but I didn't - they had rooms clean and ready to go. On top of that, when I did get into my room that evening, it reeked of bleach so badly that I had to turn on the bathroom fan for hours!

I left a poor review last month about the poor condition of the hotel. Last weekend, we decided to give them another shot. I was extremely impressed this stay, and the staff has made big changes. The hotel was clean, the room was clean, the heavy moisture was gone, and overall- you can tell the hotel has made some positives changes. We will be back in a few weeks, bravo!!!

The receptionist that first greeted me was arrogant and not professional when I initially tried to check in at 1 pm ET on Thursday and said “you are going to need to pay $30 extra for checking in 2 hours early.” It’s not about the $30, but to smugly tell me this and then snidely roll his eyes at me when I declined the offer I didn’t really appreciate. I didn’t see his name badge, but he is mid-30’s, shoulder-length hair, wears glasses.

My incidental deposit was not given back didn’t really get to use room much . Slept in room 4 hours didn’t use anything in room except 2 towels and bed .When called I get hung up on by customer service instead of transferred . Not happy that $100 was not returned . Took video of room as I always do at all hotels . . Will be reporting the fraud to my bank. Room was ok , shower base dirty . Lobby was very nice . Customer service upon arrival /departure was pleasant .

Liked this close-to-the-interstate but quiet and secluded hotel. Bed was high and very comfy, and liked modern decor. Got stuck with some last minute work issues, and staff kindly extended my check-out time to accommodate. Much appreciated!

So, at first I was given one room where the a/c was literally screaming and it smelled terrible in that room. So, I went back down and asked for another room. That room was awesome. The a/c was normal, no smell, the bed was comfy, and the shower was amazing. I loved the snack area! My stay was last minute so I just grabbed a few things, and called it a night! Everyone was super friendly. Although, it’s in a busy area of Tallahassee it was quiet! I’d definitely stay there again!

This place is cool but The STAFF made our stay Top Notch. Every staff member we came across was smiling and even joked with us. Mr.Ian helped me fix an issue and he went above and beyond. Mr.Eric called us to make sure we were safely on our way. The lady manager was very informative. The entire building is lit up so you feel very safe inside and outside. The breakfast has a lot of choices and they have a grill you can use outside on the patio and even a fire pit too. We will be staying again. This place also has a lounge/bar area with a big TV and another sitting area around a fireplace and another sitting area with a big TV and books boardgames etc

Front desk staff also very friendly and happy to answer questions about the area. We only stayed one night this trip, but will certainly return to this hotel the next time.

One of the reasons why I choose this hotel was because of the free breakfast. I was very disappointed on the day of check out as the breakfast area was closed due to shortage of staff. Also for the check in process, I do understand that there is a check in time of 3pm. Me and my husband arrived at the hotel about 2:20pm and we asked if we could check in. We weee told that we would have to pay an extra $30. We were okay with this however, there needs to be consistency with the hotel check in process as my husband stayed at the same hotel about 2 weeks ago and he was able to check in before 2:30pm.

My mother’s room had a terrible smell(musty) and the coffee served at breakfast tasted like it had been reheated. Also they state in the amenities they have a bar and restaurant. The bar wasn’t open and they do not have a restaurant (you can order a few things to eat like mozzarella cheese sticks, basket of fries, chicken fingers) . It was a great price!

Good place to stay when traveling. The only recommendations are having a better seal on the shower door, so the floor isn't drenched when showering and would like to see pork back strips on the breakfast menu.

This used to be one of the hidden gems of Tallahassee hotels. I was very disappointed this visit. While the check in staff was very friendly the room left a lot to be desired. The coffee pot was missing pieces to work. The smell of marijuana hit me in the face when I walked and my clothes smelled like it when I left. It was very noisy above me. The sheets were dingy and shower wasn’t clean. Though I was told breakfast was from 7-10, there was no breakfast and only signs on the doors that said it was closed due to shortage of staff. Sad. I understand that the whole country is struggling right now, though.
