The breakfast was good each morning with a variety of biscuits and gravy, bacon, eggs, sausage, breakfast potatoes, waffles, oatmeal, and yogurt with fresh fruit. The fitness room had a good amount of equipment compared to other hotels with three treadmills, two ellipticals, two exercise bikes, a cable machine, and free weights.

The breakfast was extensive, there is a free laundry facility, the rooms are large, shuttle to the Long Beach airport and staff was great. The only downside was having to wait 3+ hours for our room to be ready. Early check in was apparently not an option so we waited in their lobby with our luggage. (There were three other families waiting as well) Even considering, i would absolutely stay here again ! Its super conveniently located.

The place has major construction going on. No notification prior to stay. Specially we went for the hot tub and laundry room. Hot tub was freezing and front desk stated they didn’t know. Laundry room had multiple machines down. They wouldn’t refund any amount of money cause we booked from Expedia.

The hotel has a great environment and excellent facilities. However, the floors are quite thin, so you can hear activities like cleaning and vacuuming from the upstairs rooms. The swimming pool is outdoors and not heated, making it unsuitable for swimming in winter. Other than that, everything else is great.

This was our second, two week stay at this hotel. The rooms are spacious, clean and having a full kitchen with dishes,pots and pans was a money saver. The free washer and dryer was a major plus. The only thing was requestiing housekeeping. They only came one time in two weeks which was interesting. Overall a great experience.

Very nice and clean. Theres some remodeling in progress on the ground floor but did not afftect our stay at all. I appreciated the shuttle service to the airport to drop off some of our group, and I understand they offer airport parking to non-guests but i did think it was odd to charge hotel guests for overnight parking ($15).

We stayed in a 2 bdrm, 2 bath suite, very spacious. Free dinner which was a very small selection but still, nice to have something hot to eat. The free hot breakfast was a different story, many items to chose from, very pleased with that. Shuttle from airport to the hotel was quick and we got an uber to the cruise port the next day, about 20 minutes away.

We arrived early in the day and they were able to get our room ready by 1:30. That was very nice. We had laundry to do and the machines were free but were broken. Our room didn’t feel very clean. Lots of hair on the floor, huge hole in the carpet, a wad of chewed gum on the windowsill, and all of the shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel bottles were empty. Quite disappointing! This hotel just seemed VERY minimal for the cost of the room. No luggage racks, no clocks, no soaps, lack of seating, no ice machines, no water or anything in the lobby. Just too many issues for a $480 night stay.

Roach infested rooms!! Unfriendly staff. Did not care about our concerns regarding the infestation. Mind you, this was in both rooms. First room was our original booking. Second room was to accommodate us for the roaches in the FIRST room. Still spotted roaches in the second room. Do with this information as you will.

Pleasant hotel, great breakfast. Reception staff polite and helpful with questions. Only complaint was there was puke/vomit in hallway floor ( possibly from dog). We along with others mentioned it, and were awaiting housekeeping but never showed the entire time we were there and everyone had to step over it.

Overall this was a very good stay…the included breakfast was good, however it was only served until 9am (most offer breakfast until 10am), and the staff was removing food and putting everything away at 8:50am, even as people were trying racing to get their breakfast. The room was clean, the kitchenette was great. The beds comfortable (there were some stains on the sheets on two beds). Front desk wasn’t super friendly, and when asked for something that was missing from the room they “forgot” to send it up to the room. Twice. Little tricky to get into the hotel parking lot, as it’s on a busy corner with merging highway traffic, but the lot seemed safe and we saw security walking through periodically. Overall a nice location and good hotel.

The hotel was good, waited for the shuttle for over an hour outside in the cold. Bad communication with the hotel staff and shuttle driver that he was on lunch. We didn’t get to sleep due to the noice from all the cars from the freeway. I won’ t be coming back.

Beautiful new hotel with a nice pool and common areas. Also a pool and fitness center. Comfortable bed and spacious room but freeway right outside our room was too noisy. Ask for “middle rooms” so you’re not on the Boulevard side or the freeway side.

The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The room was very clean . The drapes and other kitchen electronics did not function 100% . The people above us were extremely noisy until 3 Am and again. At 8:00 AM even with security asking them to be quiet.

We stayed for 5days and 5nights. Cons: The Aircon in our room doesnt seem to be working at its best. It was hot inside the room on our 1st night. We called the frontdesk and they mentioned we will need to move to a different room. But we like our spacious room with multiple beds and close to where the rest of our family is. So we just decided to keep it. Most days we were out and about anyway and by the time we came back at night we were so tired so we didnt mind. I would suggest they Fix the aircon. Also the Kitchen Vent is it possible to have it (Air out) instead of just recirculating? Pros: Overall, a great stay! Clean room. Housekeeping daily with good service. Friendly staff, kitchen and frontdesk. Free Hot breakfast which was a big plus! Theres also Laundry room downstairs if needed. Thank you!

My family of 6 arrived at 430pm. My room was supposed to be ready by 3. I reserved this room over a week ago online. They said they overbooked that room and offered me another room that was supposed to have 2 kings and a pullout bed. When it came time to go to bed, there was no pullout bed. I went to the service desk to complain, and they offered me a roll away. For two teenagers. Not acceptable. He said the manager would be in at 9am and they would see what they could do about some type of reimbursement, and to come back down then. I had to go purchase an air mattress so my kids could have something to sleep on. I went back down at 9am only to hear that there are no managers on the weekends. On top of that, she said that the room ac went out and they had to change rooms. The First Lady said they overbooked it. And then she changed her story to the manager was supposed to be there at 9 but switched to 11pm and I would have to call back then if I wanted anything done. She wouldnt give me her name or any of the other employees I spoke to. I paid a lot of money for a room that I honestly had high expectations for only to be lied to and quite disappointed in. They said the only thing they could do for me was not charge me parking or the difference for the missing bed. This is totally unacceptable especially for an establishment of this caliber. I asked for a better discount or even a comp and they said sorry about your luck. Lack of communication and lies. Terrible service.

The staff was warm and welcoming, the room spotless and comfortable, and the location ideal—close to restaurants and attractions but quiet at night. Hotel and room were generally good. Good size and kitchen was nice. Bath was a little outdated, but clean. Breakfast was good with a great variety. A few sirens at night but nothing that kept us up all night. This was our first time staying at a Staybridge and initially I thought I had found a new go to for our family, but unfortunately that changed. We were there for soccer, and, unfortunately my daughter got sick and was not able to compete so we headed home early. The hotel would not reimburse us for the second night we were not using. I understand it is within policy, but most places we have stayed over the years for soccer have always gone above and beyond if last minute changes needed to be made for rainouts or other uncontrollable factors. Hotels.com contacted the property to try and work out a refund, but the hotel denied it so we don’t plan to book with the chain again. Customer service is huge and when the manager stood there looking at me with my sick daughter and denied the refund, it spoke a lot about the chain’s priorities….profit over guest relations.

It was a centrally located hotel, easy access to the 405. Parking can be hit or miss depending on when you come in at night even though you pay for parking each night. I would stay again.

Shares pool and hot tub with Holiday Inn Guest. This makes it hard to enjoy when you want. Also, there are no restaurants within walking distance. You must Uber as an out of town guest. But everything else is great and I would stay here again.

The good: Hotel and rooms were very clean. Front desk was friendly, and helpful, check in and check out. Room was as described, a 2 bedroom suite, with 2 bathrooms and a common area. Price was what I would expect to pay for this room and level of accommodations. The bad: $15 for parking. Why? It's not secure, there is nothing special about it. Free breakfast: Ends at 9am and they are taking away a tremendous amount of food a few minutes after. I watched them turn 2 families away and I don't understand why. There was so much food and 9am is incredibly early to end breakfast. Not quite the perk you may otherwise think it is.

This is a good bang for the buck. Reception in the evening with free wine, beer and amazing carnitas tacos. The suite room is very nice and new with kitchen and a very comfortable bed and bedding. Gym has new equipment, jacuzzi was the right temp and a full breakfast in the morning. Hard to beat the value here for short of long terms stays.

Hotel room was clean and comfortable, loved the extra space and kitchen (which we used). The room faced the road and was extremely noisy at all times of the day and especially at night. Traffic woke us each morning. Free breakfast was good but they seemed to run out of a lot of things each day . The evening reception was …,I don’t even know how to say, it was a baked potato with little to no fixings…very strange and with about an hour left on the “reception “ there was one potato to split. No other food or snacks to speak of. The poster in the elevator highlighting the evening reception wasn’t even close !
