Hyatt Place Tulsa/Downtown

Parking is terrible.

Staff was pleasant, check in/out was easy, hotel and room were clean and updated, bed was comfy, shower was hot, breakfast was good. Only complaint would be lack of parking outside of valet, but that is to be expected downtown a Friday night. Value for the price was excellent. Would definitely stay here again.

The staff was friendly and helpful. A pool was listed in the amenities but there is not one. The weight room could use a bench.

The hotel was very close to all the events we planned that weekend. The only thing that made it difficult was parking is 2 blocks away in a parking garage. It was 36.00 for the weekend parking. You can cut through another hotel to make the walk shorter but if you have troubles walking or any restrictions then I would think of somewhere else to stay if you don’t want to valet your car.

Overall the Hyatt is nice, but being charged $28 per night for parking and then having to be back by 12 or not have an option for parking was a problem.

No bartender for two days, so no happy hour.

You either had to pay $50 for valet or you can walk about a block and half from the parking garage.

Large room. Comfortable beds. Great view. Room could get warm even with A/C set at 65. Only complaint would be parking is valet only.. $32 a day plus tipping. Easy walk to BOK Center. Would stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay here at the Hyatt. The hotel was clean and modern. Bed was pretty comfortable, small well equipped gym, shower water pressure was amazing and the breakfast and bar options were wonderful. I would definitely return.

Upon Checking in at the Hyatt Place (room 809) even though the bed had a nice cover we found pubic hair on the white sheets and a dirty filthy sock. There were 3 cleaning ladies on the hall cleaning the rooms one of them was a lady supervisor. (They had already cleaned the room) but it took us a while to go back to the room since we were deciding to go to a different hotel. I will be asking for a refund and the rewards that I have, will give those as a gift to someone and end my relationship with Hyatt !

2 night stay. Room was not cleaned after first night. Was not told room was not going to be cleaned

Room didn’t look like it had been cleaned very well. Bed sheets had crumbs in them. Waited almost an hour at the bar for a burger. The shower door leaked so bad that there was a huge puddle of water outside the door. It was a miracle I didn’t trip and hurt myself. I told the staff and she didn’t really act like she cared. Only good thing about the property was it was located close to BOK.

The parking was the worst, hardly any area even for valet parking. It was evident our unit wasn’t cleaned properly, hair on the floor in the restroom.

Unfortunately are room was dirty and didn’t live up to the images on website. We ended up leaving and staying at the Hyatt Regency 2 blocks away. I wasted money staying here and they didn’t offer me a refund based on dirty room conditions. Very displeased.

About half the staff were unprofessional, room was clean but common areas were absolutely not (walked past the same empty/dirty glasses in the hallway for 2 days, trash cans overflowing, crumbs and trash on floor, bar countertops and dining tabletops dirty and sticky, etc.), hotel was lacked supplies (out of bottled water for the entire weekend when a store was just down the street), operation obviously lacks competent management and leadership.

Our floor in our room was filthy. So bad I reported to front desk upon leaving for evening. Music outside our room kept us awake until 2am. Breakfast was mediocre at best. Toaster didn’t work.

They don't clean your room daily even if you ask.

Very nice, updated hotel with a great breakfast selection. However, under the bed was not very clean. It looked as if everything was swept under the bed. The heater was so loud, it made it difficult to sleep. I loved that the hotel uses real plates, silverware and glasses. While there was a great selection of food, on our second morning the food was cold.

The Free breakfast was better than average by far. The location was perfect for downtown events like ours was at the BOK. The city room (Plus $5) totally worth it for the amazing view! Well designed room. Comfortable beds. Great shower pressure. The air wasn't working in our room. Apparently, in winter the older system can not have heat on in the building & also cool in the rooms. Unfortunately, the fan in our room was also broken. But they did bring us in a portable fan that helped circulate the air. It was 2° cooler in the room by morning. Allowing us enough comfort to sleep well. I will definitely look to book here again when my travels bring me back to downtown Tulsa.

The air conditioner made an annoying noise ALL night. I reported it & they did send a young man up to check it, but he couldn’t figure out what was wrong. We could not get a good night sleep! We were never offered the opportunity to switch to another room!!

Loud, space under door looked into hall

This hotel was a really good deal for the price. Staff was nice, rooms were pretty nice as well. Biggest complaint would be that the A/C was pretty loud.

Room was small. The first night the room temperature was freezing, due to faulty thermostat. Staff was understanding, but we had to wait until next day for maintenance to replace it.

The fridge did not work

It was nice, other than taking a shower. There was A LOT of water on the floor when I got out of the shower. The door was completely shut but I noticed there’s about a centimeter gap under the door. BUT other than that our stay was great.

This hotel and rooms are SUPER clean and modern and the staff(Valet, Front Desk, bar) were EXCEPTIONAL! However, the walls arent exactly soundproof and the hallways carried sound like an opera hall. The heater sounded like a diesel generator (it was -2 outside so Ill cut it some slack.) If you're used to a noisier hotel experience then this place is a great hotel and value. If you want quiet, might look elsewhere.

The room was nice. The shower was amazing. On a negative note, we returned to the room from a nice steak dinner with several leftovers, only to discover that the refrigerator in the room did not work. There was also a lot of street noise, even on tbe 10th floor.

PLEASE do not make the same mistake I did by ignoring their numerous bad reviews. I booked a speciality king with a sofa bed (corner room) through Expedia. I specifically booked this room because it is larger than the standard king rooms. I also called the hotel ahead of arrival because we were going to be arriving later in the evening and didn’t want to be listed as a no show. Upon checking in Dave’s first comment was “so you’re one of my no shows”. Nice. After checking in and going up to our room, I opened the door and thought someone was still in the room given the unmade bed, dirty towels on the floor and empty soda bottles on the counters. I went back downstairs and was assigned a different room on a higher floor. This new room was significantly smaller than what I booked, so much so that my husband & I had to move the king bed up against the wall for the sofa bed to completely open and even then it was crammed. Once again I went back downstairs to speak with Dave and he pretty much said I was SOL and to speak with the manager in the morning. I asked if we could just wait to have the room we booked cleaned and he said no one was available to clean the room. He also stated that the new room we received was an “upgrade” because it was on a higher floor, I told him I did not care for a higher floor and that I cared about the room size instead. It is now the next day and just finished speaking with the manager on duty, she refused to give us the room we paid for or a refund.

My reservation was canceled without my knowledge. I showed up to the hotel and was told that since I used a third party they did not know there were no rooms available but let me book it anyways. Very upset being told at check-in that my room was canceled and had to go elsewhere. You need to figure out why your systems does not talk better with the hotel system in knowing if there are rooms or not.

Fantastic staff and service!!

We had to wait an hour and a half extra for check in because they were understaffed. Which I understand being understaffed but no one on staff made accommodation for the number of guests waiting in the lobby for so long to get into their rooms. They would not hold all of our luggage or open the bar early for anyone to enjoy themselves. Parking is over a block away and it was very inconvenient to carry everything back and forth multiple times.

My flight from Detroit to Dallas was delayed causing me to miss my connection to Tulsa. I called and spoke to the concierge on duty. I told him my plight. I said that I would miss Friday night but would still need the room for Saturday night. He said no problem that he would put in a note to hold the room. I finally arrived Saturday morning and they had me down as a no show and could not provide me with a room. And could not refund my money. This is unsatisfactory

My family and I rolled into Tulsa at 10pm. We were greeted by Vicki at the front desk. She had a genuine smile and kindness that made is feel welcome. She had that same energy at 8am for checkout.

Staff was very attentive and checked on my wife and her friends when a man gave them far too much unwanted attention and followed them away from the lobby. We appreciated their attentiveness to the situation.

Comfortable bed and a nice room. However, the front desk agent Dave was very rude and unwelcoming upon checking in. He used a mean tone and slowly enunciated every answer he offered in a very disrespectful manner. Also, certain guests on the same floor were being extremely loud, playing music and constantly slamming doors after 11 PM (the “quiet hours”). The hotel did not address the issue after they have been informed. The nights that were supposed to be restful turned into torture. Was unable to sleep for the entire stay. Very bad experience. Not staying there again.

Our biggest issue was a 2 hour delayed check in due to lack of housekeeping staff. The room was clean but there was food left in fridge from previous guest. Staff were nice and apologetic but seemed disorganized. No offer for any perk or compensation. It put us in a time crunch for a 6:00 evening event. We returned at 10:15 to be told the bar was closed already but was supposed to be open until 11:00. There are no close by walking distance eating establishments open past 9:00 even on a Saturday. This is a downtown hotel and parking is a couple blocks away and costs an addition $16 per night.

Checked into the hotel got our key and found people in our room thankfully they did have another room open but the check in took about an hour and we were late for our concert

Great location and very friendly staff made our stay enjoyable.

Great walking distance between the b o k center and the blue Dome district.

Nice staff and location

Friendly staff at check in. Room clean, adequate. Felt safe while in the hotel, but lots of unhoused individuals in the blocks surrounding the hotel and saw police presence regarding an apparent drug user right outside the hotel.

Found the area to be quite unsafe due to the high number of transient individuals around. Walking down the streets was not a viable option. In addition, there was a limited selection of restaurants in the area.

Located in a beautiful section of downtown.

We wanted to get a hotel that was near the BOK center for a concert we were attending. Best place to stay in Tulsa to be in the heartbeat of things to do

The property and rooms were great. My only complaint was the lack of food at breakfast. I arrived at 9:45 am--breakfast did close at 10 am--however, there was a college soccer team and it's Oktober Fest--so the hotel should have prepped for that and made sure there were all the breakfast options for those that arrived a little later in the morning.

Good location downtown. Clean room, comfortable bed. Free breakfast was actually good. Valet on site which is nice.

The room was fine, clean and comfortable, the breakfast however was horrible, everything was out at 8:30 am including the coffee and I could not find a glass for orange juice nor could find anyone around to ask for a glass

The room was clean and was comfortable and the valet service was efficient. My wife and I were very disappointed with the breakfast service. No flavored coffee creamer was available, the eggs were not good at all and very watery, bacon was undercooked and there was no syrup for the waffles. For this being a Hyatt hotel, it was not to the standard we expected.

Everything was great besides the fact that during check in we were told that the bar was open till 2am. My husband and I were expecting to come back after our concert and go to the bar. The bartending was there but said he stopped serving alcohol at 11am that was very disappointing

I enjoyed our stay other than the restaurant server. My friend and I chose to stay at this hotel because we were excited there would be a restaurant. The server kept on flicking the hat I was wearing and making jokes about me eating chips and salsa too fast. About an hour after waiting he had forgotten to put my entree order in and then over heard my friend and I talking about our weekend plans. He asked what we were doing and I said we are having a girls night in like a spa night. He asked if he could joint and I said girls only! He then said “oh come on I can tuck it!” Very innapropriate. My friend and I tried laughing it off but felt uncomfortable for the entire exchange along with having to pay for food we had to wait over an hour for. He also forgot to give us our drinks until the end so he gave those to us for free. Also when I ordered he would say things like “you don’t need it” then laugh. I’m very unsatisfied and probably won’t stay at this hotel again because of this.

I enjoyed my stay overall—the room had a great view and the location was very convenient, within walking distance to the conference I attended. However, there were some issues that affected my experience. I was mistakenly checked out early, which led to a maintenance worker entering my room while I was getting dressed. He did not knock before coming in, which was very uncomfortable and concerning. In addition, the hotel restaurant did not open until 5 p.m. and offered limited menu options, which made dining there less appealing. While the location and room view were definite highlights, the service and dining options need improvement.
