There was construction going on during our stay. All of the floors were ripped up in the hallways, plastic sheets hanging, and dust everywhere. Definitely not worth the price and would not have stayed had we have known.

I’ve been humbled but if I could leave 0 stars I would. Upon booking this hotel I only chose so to be in a “decent “ hotel and drive 1.5 more hours to my destination as I was informed Welch, WV was a no go terrible nasty place. So I chose a closer nicer place per Expedia ratings and some reviews!! Make sure you check the original sites! I learned my lesson! Upon arrival I realized the pics must be old! This place is run down! And to top it off I think they called it construction! The floors covered in Sheetrock paint dirt nothing covered in the so called lobby breakfast area. The customer service was busy but finally got to me after a 10 hr drive. I had booked for two days! No ma’am. If I could have turned canceled and left I would have. I gave it the benefit of the doubt got my room key and upon entering the room, it was a terror of a nightmare. I called Home crying so bad that I went to the front desk and told them that I would only be staying for that night. Let’s put it this way. I didn’t even sleep in the bed. Speaks volumes!

The breakfast cereal was individually bagged in snack bags from big boxes, there was NO decaf coffee offered. The breakfast offered was done cheaply and not very sanitary. I had to sign a paper saying there would be upcharges for early discharge from my room! Really??? NO ELEVATOR and not advertised. This was a surprise to my spouse who uses a walker. No ice machine on the second floor. Huge blood stain on the top of my bed quilt that soaked through to the second top sheet. Rooms are old and antiquated. would not stay there again!

Property was heavily under construction and should have been closed for renovation. I was not informed in advance. First room I was given was in a hall with town up floors and no room numbers. Front desk staff was on the phone with owner/manager and would not help me until she finished lengthy conversation about something unrelated. Bathroom hadn’t been cleaned (or maybe was being used by construction crew ?) Construction crew was in the hallway shouting back and forth to each other at 1:45 am and 3 am. No working tv. Worst hotel stay I’ve had in a good long while.

I think staff used it to vape in since there was no air ( help said none in over a month) so no air in food area. On Sunday they ran out of coffee, eggs, bacon ...where was the girl? Hiding in the office area. The pool was closed one day for high bacteria levels. The next day when it was open, Saturday, the man mowing the yard blew the yard waste into the pool. Really dirty. The toilet was also moldy. Very disappointed. We did not get a discount on price, but were cheated on decent service that we paid for. Keep hiring.

Checked into the room and there is no elevator which is inconvenient but I was only staying overnight. Got to the room and it is very dated. Upon entering the bathroom it was so gross with fecal remnants in the toilet that had not been cleaned, multiple pubic hairs in the shower and tub and upon pulling back the sheet/blankets, found multiple pubic hairs in the bed. Also found old chicken and fries in the floor that my daughter picked up with a make-shift glove from the plastic covering the cup. Tried to move rooms and nothing to accommodate 2 adults and 1 10 yr old. Left hotel and requested refund. Absolutely would never stay here!

We had to come in town for a 1 night stay, the staff was amazing and friendly and accommodating. Very clean in the lobby and the room. The breakfast was amazing, they had everything from cereal to 2 kinds of make your own waffles, along with fruit yougurt and hot biscuts gravy egs and bacon. Great orange juice and the lemon water was very refreshing. If you have to come to the bluefields or princeton area i would recommend staying here.

Never cleaned our room even tho we requested to have it cleaned everyday...we stayed 11 days and had to request new linens, towels, tp daily, and had to empty our own trash. Instead of cleaning the room, they switched us to a different room midway through our stay where there was a hole in the wall near one of the beds and they still didn't clean that room either. TJ was the best part of our stay--he was so sweet and helpful---he is an asset to this hotel.

It's under renovation. My bad luck. Worse, the walls are paper thin which means the very loud conversation at 2 am by a bunch of men was particularly unwelcome, as was the loud knocking on someone's door. I know the hotel is not responsible, but if you come to Bluefield, consider a b and b or an air b and b. This cheap hotel was not worth saving a few dollars.

Bed way too high...am 5'4 and had to boost myself into it. Breakfast was eggs and sausage as the protein...as someone who cant eat those items this was a problem. They were waiting on the truck to get more peanut butter and yogurt.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We asked if we could check in a bit early so we could change clothes for a funeral. The staff made it happen even though the night before they had been sold out. Awesome service.

Pool was not functioning. No mention of the problem when checking in. It should not have taken several days to resolve the the issue and it would appear no one knew enough to properly use the chemicals that should have been available. Staff was courteous but not well trained. I asked to move rooms and that was granted but not a word acknowledging the problem or apologizing

The hotel is dated and there was a mildew smell throughout. The pool had so many chemicals in it my son didn’t even want to swim. He lasted like 5 minutes. We didn’t have toilet paper when we checked in. You could tell housekeeping was lax. The staff was friendly, we felt safe and there wasn’t much outside noise. This is one of the few hotels in the are, they could benefit from some upgrades. They breakfast was ok.
