Staff was great, room was nice & clean Will definitely stay again

This hotel was a last minute decision as it had been storming really bad. The outside, inside etc were fine and maintained. However when we opened the door to our room, the smell of dog was so pungent it almost took us out. We had indoor pets so it’s not something we’re not used to. But this appeared to be a room that wasn’t clean upon further inspection. There was dried blood on the comforters and the sheets smelled like dog. If we had not been desperate for a place to stay, we would have left. This was unacceptable tbh.

The room smelled terrible, which may have been carpet(pet stays?), because the bathroom and the hall did not smell bad. I told the manager in check out and she was friendly.

It was a good stay. I would appreciate if the in room coffee maker were pod acceptable. I carry my own coffee. And really there’s no problems with this place. Although it would’ve been nice for the ice machine to be working on the second level. But I found the staff to be very courteous and friendly.

Room and bed were great - three things 1, Unprofessional Staff - Tom - At Check in I submitted my tax exempt forms. He said that was to go to Hotels.com. I explained how I have done this many times and knew that wasnt correct - He got louder - spoke over me - and said "In his 40 years - they never..." The MOD was sweet and checked and discovered I was correct. No apologies from Tom Made it a very unpleasant check in 2) Room was not cleaned on 2nd day. 3) while hotel has been recently redone - the Lobby chairs were filthy.
