We loved our stay at Ojo Azul! So tranquil and relaxing but fun. They had performers on Saturday night and with their bar made for a fun night out. They also had an EV charger on site which was a huge relief since we took our electric car. Woul stay again!

We can't wait to return to Ojo Azul Resort Vineyard! I was looking for a hotel with a pool in November, the pool and hot tub here were hot and perfect. The room was comfortable and scenic, all the rooms are built in a horseshoe shape around a small section of the vineyard so really all (garden view, vineyard view, pool view) are equally good. I enjoyed the food in the restaurant, there is a band and dancing at night, but it shuts down by 10pm. What surprised me the most though was their wine. We visited 6 different wineries in Valle de Guadalupe and my very favorite bottle was the Nebbiolo from Ojo Azul! Not to be missed.

This is the third time I have stayed at Ojo Azul. I do love it hear but this time it seemed too busy. No one came to clean our room, hot tub never had room in it, and the band plays sooooo loudly until 11pm. We like to party and have fun, but we were in the room right next to the restaurant and it was so loud and the music was decent, but not until 11 at night. There’s also that horrible septic smell around the rooms that is usually tolerable but not this time. Room 101 is not the room you want. Don’t think we’ll be staying again unfortunately.

The resort was beautiful, clean, well maintained. The service we received at dinner from our waiter, Xóchitl was excellent. She gave us great recommendations for wine and food selections. The accommodations were excellent, room, space and bed, very comfortable. The heated salt water pool and jacuzzi were the icing on the cake! I will definitely stay there again.

We were really looking forward to our stay, but unfortunately, it fell short of expectations. When we arrived, the air conditioning was off, and it was over 100° outside, so the room was extremely hot and uncomfortable to settle into. The television was also an issue—there’s no standard cable connection, and they recommend logging into your own Netflix or Amazon account. However, those options never appeared on the TV, so we couldn’t watch anything during our stay. The shower was disappointing as well. It felt dirty and slimy, and I actually had to lay down a towel just to be comfortable standing in it. We had a great time on our trip. The resort was perfect. The food at the restaurant was top notch. Their wine was great, the room was spacious and comfortable and the staff was so kind and helpful. We would recommend this resort to anyone who wants a perfect little hideaway in the Valle.

This is one of our favorites places we stayed in valle. They are dog friendly (13 pound dog) to their restaurant and pool amenities were a plus for us. The beds were comfy and the room was nice and big for a couple. Would stay here again.

My wife and I booked 3 nights at Ojo Azul on a whim. It was our first time in Valle de Guadalupe and we couldn’t have been happier with our stay. Ojo Azul is a beautiful hotel with great service, and lively entertainment. They had live music on Friday and Saturday night which was a lot of fun. It was very loud (even from our room) and ran late into the night so, if you want a quiet mellow hotel, you might want to check their entertainment schedule before booking. We loved it. The restaurant is good. You get a free continental breakfast of yogurt with fruit which was surprisingly VERY good. We also tried the chilaquiles verdes and huevos rancheros which were good. The service at their restaurant is excellent. We were not interested in booking all day wine tours so the hotel was able to find a driver that could take us to restaurants in the evenings. It was expensive so I suggest trying to haggle if you can.

Great property! However, the service at the restaurant was not great. Servers seems like they didn’t want to be there. Food was good, but the alcoholic drinks (mixed drinks) were not good at all. They were too sweet and could not taste the alcohol at all. It tasted like juice with syrup.

This property would not allow me to cancel my reservation due to testing positive for COVID only 15 hours after the cancellation period. Expedia even tried to help me and the hotel had zero flexibility and i ended up having to pay the full booking amount although i am not able to travel. Zero flexibility and zero care for potential customers.

Love this place, I’ve stayed here multiple times. Unfortunately, there’s was no one available at the pool to place an order but the worst part of all if that the dinner we had there got my boyfriend and I sick. It was such a bitter experience because we didn’t enjoy the facilities as we had planned. He was sick all night and I started to get the symptoms the following day. I’m Mexican, and I’m used to eating Mexican food, but I don’t know what was in that dish (lengua con cachete) that gave us the worst food poisoning ever.

My husband and I stayed one night. The property itself is very nice. We did a dinner tasting in the restaurant and later on that night I got food poisoning and threw up twice and diarrhea all night. I felt very disappointed. I let the hotel know and they just said "sorry and maybe my body isn't used to the food." I have travelled all throughout Mexico and have NEVER gotten sick. So, this was a surprise especially because this getaway was specifically for all the wonderful food in Valle De Guadupe.

This was our second visit and it was as good as the first. The rooms are comfortable, the grounds are beautiful and the staff wonderful. The restaurant serves incredibly delicious food, some of the best to be found in the Valle de Guadalupe. The heated pool is a wonderful touch. We enjoyed it daily. The only "regret" is that the included breakfast no longer includes an egg choice. One suggestion I'd make is that there is no power outlet available near the pool for phone charging. Yes, that's a very minor thing and in no way affected our enjoyment. I plan to return again for my next birthday celebration!

Beautiful resort. We spent a day doing 4 different winery tours. We couldn’t wait to get back and have dinner there again. The first night we had dinner and it was off the charts. Insanely good and Pablo is an outstanding waiter. Actually, all the waiters were phenomenal. We’ll definitely stay there again.
