City Express Plus by Marriott Ensenada

El personal fue muy amable, y la alberca es increíble con vistas al mar y el atardecer. El gimnasio aunque no tiene muchos aparatos es totalmente funcional y el comedor y la estancia común también tiene una vista muy buena y es muy tranquilo. Sin embargo, la habitación es muy limitada de espacio, el baño muy pequeño y las televisiones no son S-Mart TV en la habitación como el gym por lo tanto no se puede tener acceso a videos o plataformas.

El área para estacionamiento es insegura, inadecuada, lejana al hotel. El pavimento no existe, es de tierra. La infraestructura no está terminada, los pilares de acero que sostienen al edificio están expuestos al salitre y se observa corrosión; como que no alcanzó el presupuesto y quedó sin terminar el hotel.

There was not enough parking spaces. When we arrived there was a private event being hosted. The attendees of the event took all the parking space. We had to park on the side on top of the side walk. Also, the private event was in the rooftop by the pool. The private event hostess was not happy that occupants of the hotel were using the pool while the event was going on. Also, at first they denied our entrance to the pool because of the private event. We the

El hotel esta ubicado para salir fácilmente al centro de Ensenada o a la ruta de los viñedos. La alberca es pequeña pero con una maravillosa vista y buen servicio durante la tarde de snacks y bebidas. El desayuno incluido es continental pero es suficiente para iniciar yu día y conocer el destino

The pictures do not show the real surroundings of this hotel. This hotel is still not fully constructed. The parking lot is not complete. It is small and when it gets full you have to park elsewhere and then walt to the hotel.

The parking is not enough for guest so you have to park along side the roadway it’s a major highway not very safe. Great rooftop pool and spectacular view of the Pacific.

Location was not ideal. The area near hotel smelled of Sewage. No Balcony. Windows wont open. Pool in picture nowhere to be found and tiny rooms with uncomfortable beds. Stay up the street a few miles towards Rosarita, MUCH NICER for little or No Difference in Price. Sorry

Very clean and modern building. Excellent design on the rooms. Professional behavior by staff. Hopefully parking facilities improve next time we go there.

La limpieza de los cuartos muy deficiente de las cuatro noches que estuvimos solamente lo hicieron dos veces aún habiendo solicitado el servicio en recepción

Everything was wonderful except the sewer smell

Habitaciones limpias, una vista excelente frente al mar, personal muy amable y desayuno bueno.

I didn’t like that they never gave us clean sheets on the bed. We never noticed it the first night we slept but once we did we asked for housekeeping to clean the room but they kept the same stained & dirty sheets. Never staying here again!

The room had a terrible scent. I called the desk and they said it comes from the drains and to cover it with a towel. The bathroom is small and not very clean. The breakfast they serve is limited. You could get fruit ,toast ,cheeses or cereal. If you want their whole buffet style food it’s $290 pesos more per person or about $18 dllrs. Parking was a hassle at night since they were full. My husband got bit by something.The staff was not very friendly.

It's a nice hotel but with very limited amenities. The parking situation is the worse. We ended up ordering an Uber to avoid leaving the property and having to move the car every time. There is also no coffee maker in the room. I was in shock with the design of the bathroom. It has no privacy, swinging door with no lock. The shower itself is very tiny. The top deck pool has amazing views of the ocean but it's very small. The drinks at the bar are not good at all. Staff is friendly and accommodating. They allowed us to check in before check-in time. However I noticed a very long line at 3pm and only one staff member doing all the check ins.

Beds were very hard woke up with body aches every morning. Noice level was to high outside the room you could here everything including people walking in the hallway. Disappointed with the limit breakfast.

Ocean view

One Night, the air condition wasn't working.

there’s absolutely no beach access, minimal staff, my “partial ocean view” overlooked construction next door, there’s no hand towels or face towels in the room, super thin walls where you can hear EVERYTHING in the hallway, the rooms look like a bare run down version of the photos, and I left a day early after 1 night.

I really think is ok but did not Waoo me the pictures fool me on line to pay the price of $200dlrs a night but it was my first time here in Ensenada did not now the area well enough to choose right. Otherwise it was a good experience for one night I stayed here.Bed was very comfortable,there’s no privacy in the bathroom it is a see through doors with no lock just saying.

Great location! Loved the rooftop pool. The room was a good size for two adults and a child. The bathroom was the only drawback as there is no privacy and the water that comes out of the shower.

Very nice rooftop pool Food is average. The Club sandwich is the best! Our room had a funky order in it. The windows do not open so we were not able to have any fresh air to combat the smell. Other than that the hotel staff are sweet and free parking great! The views rom the pool spectacular

Genuine Hospitality!

We had an absolutely amazing time at this hotel! The service was top-notch, with friendly staff who went above and beyond to make us feel right at home. The cleanliness of the place was impeccable, and the food was simply delicious! Every moment spent there was nothing short of fantastic. But the cherry on top? The breathtaking views from the restaurant, rooftop, swimming pool,and our rooms were truly mind-blowing! Nestled in an incredibly beautiful location, the hotel is just a quick 15-minute drive from the stunning Valle de Guadalupe. It was the perfect getaway, and we can’t wait to go back!

The lobby receptionist was rude and not very helpful.

Check in was supposed to be 1-3 pm. We didn’t get our room until 6 pm. It seems like a daily thing as well, every time we walked by the reception they had the same excuse with the other guests “rooms will be ready in a hour”. That was the two days we were there. Would never use this location again. Front desk Staff is rude and unprofessional.

Hotel relativamente nuevo, sin terminar, no hay letreros que indiquen dónde está la entrada al hotel, nos pasamos y nos tuvimos que regresar, la recepcionista que nos atendió malencarada, no respondió al saludo de buenas tardes, le hace falta mucha capacitación de atención del cliente, la habitación es cómoda, no es amplia, tiene poco espacio para colgar ropa, no hay suficientes enchufes, el agua de la bañera se sale por debajo del cristal, tampoco hay sufientes espacio para colgar o guardar cosas, la tapa de la rasa del baño no cierra bien, la puerta para entrar al baño no permite privacidad, no tiene como ponerle seguro y se ve todo para adentro, es casi transparente, no tiene frigobar ni microondas, no dejan suficientes toallas, a pesar de que éramos 4 personas, solo dejaban 2 toallas y diario teníamos que pedir 2 toallas más; la alberca tiene agua tibia, pero el bar de la alberca abre hasta las 2pm, así que si quieres comer o beber algo debes bajar a pedir algo, porque no hay quien te atienda; en el desayuno solo dan frutas, cereal y pan, si quieres huevos, chilaquiles, etc. tiene un costo extra, no hay suficientes vasos y platos, a cada rato se quedaban sin ellos y te dicen que es porque los están lavando pero no te dejan desechables en su lugar, tienen máquina de hielos pero no tienen suficientes cubetas para ir por ello, el estacionamiento es insuficiente y no está pavimentado; el personal en el restaurante y el estacionamiento es muy amable, no lo recomiendo por ahora

El hotel está muy bonito, su servicio de meseros, room service, etc... es pesimo!! No cuenta con estacionamiento propio y tienes que dejar tu carro como a 150mts de la propiedad en un lote de tierra mal mal mal pésima experiencia

I didn’t enjoy any VIP benefits. I have the free upgrade but the agent said that she won’t give me any upgrade and if I wanna a better room I should buy it. She at first lied to me and said she doesn’t have any availability and all rooms are booked when I showed her that I can buy the requested room. She said if I want the upgrade I should buy it and she won’t provide any free upgrades. She also didn’t mention any VIP benefits. Worst checkin. While showing her the availability of the ocean view room, she felt corned and she asked me to wait and she wanted to check in local guests.

This hotel is settled infront of the ocean, however, do not expect to walk down to the water because it's not accessible and it is unsafe. Beds are comfortable and staff is friendly.There's a few taco shops and restaurants that are within walking distance. We used Uber to visit downtown and port of Ensenada. Bufadora is only about an hour drive away. Theres's also a safari style zoo and capybara zoo on the way to la bufadora. Only negative was when staff gave guests access to the bluetooth speaker in the pool area. They couldve at least switched it up or lowered the speaker since not everyone at the pool listened to the same genre/songs. We think it was a bachelorette party. They do have parking on site but its unfinished. Can be tricky if youre driving a large vehicle. It is not connected to the hotel so there's no elevator to the hotel. You have to walk up the ramps (gets trickier if you have too much luggage) but they do offer valet.

City Express by Marriott is a nice hotel, but I did not find a lot to do around that area. I have always stayed in downtown Ensenada which allows for you to walk around and stop at coffee shops and window shop.

Muy bien ubicada con excelente vista

The customer service was awesome, we had the pool all to our selfs. Security guard was very attentive and kind. We tried the restaurant next door and were amazed on the quality of food and service as well. You get to have a beautiful view if you select a premium room, it’s worth the price. Will definitely stay here again in the future. It’s only about 10 minutes away from downtown Ensenada.

Great location if you want to visit the breweries in El Sauzal and just 15 min away from downtown. Clean, comfortable, good customer service, convenient valet parking. The business center has amazing views.

Service is terrible. Hotel not as described. Is 20 minutes from downtown. Nothing near by to take a walk to. No convenience store around it. Nothing good at all about this hotel. Dirty plates on all the hallways from guest that just put them out there I’m assuming.

we booked the room in Expedia, as it was offering breakfast. But, the hotel gave us only "cold" breakfast, and said we had to pay more for "hot" breakfast items. So, this was completely unacceptable.

Limpio y agradable no hay nada al rededor, o cercano para comprar por si tienes hambre o sed. El hotel tiene restaurante, pero lo habilitan al 100 solo por las mañanas, quisimos cenar y el servicio es lento y malo, el personal poco amable. Si me volveria a quedar pero hay que tomar en cuenta estos aspectos

The breakfast is horrible, we need to pay additional 360peso each person to get warm breakfast. And the payment system is so bad, they always asking pay by cash.
