315 LoSo Hotel Airport

Great central location, staff was fantastic, room was clean, very nice renovated older hotel, BUT, no breakfast, coffee only. our room was missing drinking cups, tissues, soaps. Not a big deal but attention to detail was a little lacking.

Check-in and staff were great. Friendly, helpful, etc... The hotel itself has some challenges... WiFi is slow. They offered to move my room, but I went around the hotel testing it, and it has troubles in many areas during evening hours when everyone was there. No breakfast despite pics making it look like there's an area - there is, but apparently not permitted. No restaurant/bar. Again in the pics, but not permitted. Fitness center was rough. Elliptical needed an overhaul and the dumbbells were mismatched and no pairs at lower weights up to 25 or 30. I even called ahead to ask about the fitness area and they said it was all good... Not so much. Rooms have floor standing window A/C's, so be aware of that also. Ice machine on the second floor was closed for "cleaning" the whole time I was there. Had to go to the 6th floor. It's near the passenger train station and you can definitely hear that. I used white noise app and it drowned it out. There were definitely some shady people hanging around the property at night, and I'm pretty sure I saw a drug deal going down around midnight... They seem to be working on their property overall, so there will probably be improvements coming in the future.

Everything was wonderful. Under new management so contintental breakfast hasnt opened yet. Well worth the price. We will definitely stay here again next time we're in town.

Modern amenities and a newer building. Front dersk was very welcoming. I was disappointed there is no breakfast served. I may beb wrong but I'm pretty sure it was offered in the list.

Good place to stay overnight, AC units are loud, no pool. However, place is very clean, very good customer service.

Ashley at the front desk was amazing with her personal service that girl deserves a raise! A developing neighborhood, hotel had great beds, wonderful pillows, solid WiFi. Gym was still being filled out. Wish they had more amenities, but are likely too soon.

The staff was very helpful. TV didnt work properly and the air conditioning was noisy. No ice in ice machine.?

The hotel and room was nice. The only thing that would have been better was if they offered some type of light breakfast and if the bar they have was open. It would be nice to be able to get a drink at the hotel when you come in a night to relax before going to your room.

Even though the advertisement showed this hotel had a swimming pool and breakfast, it does not. However, the staff was excellent and I enjoyed my stay.

I was put up on the top floor. It was very hot. When i got out of the shower the fan did not work and it was so hot you could smell the mold. The floor was so dirty my socks were from white brand new to yellowish brown. The fridge didnt work. There was a used condom on the floor behind the bathroom door. The coffee pot was dirty as well. The whole room smelt old and it was so dusty i didnt sleep due to sneezing every 10 min. I will never go back there.I checked out a day early, it was super shady with some homless people around and saw 2 female crackheads walking up to a jeep to buy drugs. They were staying there.

The staff was friendly. The room was clean. The building was updated. Parking was free all good.

Dirty, weird smells, skimpy towels, partially used shampoo conditioner body wash (yes, an all-in-one). Found a wash cloth (dirty) next to the very saggy bed. No dining available, even though they advertised breakfast. Just all around pathetic hospitality.

The staff here were very kind and accommodating, which I really appreciated. Unfortunately, the hotel itself wasn’t up to the same standard. Our first room looked nice at first, but the toilet had visible rust stains, so I requested a move. The staff quickly gave us another room, but that one had a noticeable odor. We decided to stay, but later the A/C unit started leaking and left a large damp spot on the carpet. Overall, it just didn’t feel very clean or comfortable, and it made my birthday trip less enjoyable than I hoped. I truly appreciated how friendly the staff were, but I don’t feel the hotel met expectations. I’d be happy to share more details with management directly if that would be helpful.

Staff was friendly. Furniture mostly in good shape, but desk was broken in a couple of places. Service, we did not have any bath towels, called front desk left message did not get towels. Room 312. Curtains had holes in them and light by sink was pulled out of wall a small bit.

The hotel was not in a safe neighborhood. There were shifty people walking outside the hotel at 1:30 am. It made us extremely nervous being from out of town and just stopping by to have somewhere to sleep while traveling. We had no idea that it was a bad neighborhood. The front desk girl assured us the hotel was safe and had security, although the only other people we saw was an old woman, who was her mom, and scary individuals wandering around the hotel late.The hotel looked worn down once we got off the elevator. There were things missing, locks hanging of the doors, and the largest cockroach was in the hallway. We left about as soon as we got to our room. The only positive was the front desk girl, she was kind and welcoming. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, especially families traveling.

Everything about the hotel, the area, the staff, the price, the cleanliness the bed, was perfect. Only one issue: The room AC is free standing and not built into the wall or windows. It worked great, but was very noisy - even on the lowest setting. It didn't keep me awake, but it might bother light sleepers! Looking forward to staying again next weekend.

Nicely remodeled and maintained property. Desk staff were great. The bed was comfortable. The room was large. It was a great value. But for me the most pleasant surprise was how quiet it was. Would 100% stay here again (and wish the next hotel of my trip were as quiet.)

Noisy air conditioner

Rooms here don’t come with a phone, so good luck getting the front desk. Unfortunately, they changed our room when we got there to a room that didn’t have a working television, but they did come up and fix it once I found the right number to call. All hotels seem to have streaming televisions which are fine, but this had nothing but Roku channels, so there was no news or major channels to watch. Both myself and my husband were suffering from what we thought was food poisoning and they said we could get a late check out the next day. Promptly at 1100 the next morning, housekeeping tried to enter the room. Immediately afterward I got a call from the front desk who had no idea we had a late checkout. The pillows were absolutely huge, so getting any sleep was difficult. After I showered the next morning, I was trapped in the bathroom between the door to the bathroom and the commode. The commode was the shortest i have ever seen in a hotel room, and was almost impossible to get off of after two joint replacements. Lastly, there was no continental breakfast and was probably not included when I booked the room. It was close to the sullenberger aviation museum, but there was no airport noise thank goodness.

The room was comfortable enough, but the portable AC unit was extremely loud and jarring as it turned on and off all night long. Neither of us slept well.

Great ac and rooms were nice.Not best repair work kind of sloppy . Toilets are way low to the ground hard with knee issues. Felt like a kindergarten toilet. lol Great place and space for price

We've stayed here before but this time was different. It was loud. There are portable A/Cs in the rooms that are very very loud. The people that stayed next door were loud. This particular room showed the age of the place and the need of upkeeping. Although we stayed multiple nights, no housekeeping was offered. It is very affordable but it shows as to why with no amenities offered.

Javier at the front desk was excellent! Super friendly. Very helpful. The room itself was great! Really liked the separate living room area with a door to the bedroom. A few suggestions.... 1) The wifi didn't work in the room which created a few problems for us. 2) We couldn't get the Roku TV to work. 3) The ice machine was on the 6th floor (we were on the 2nd floor). 4) My wife really wanted to take a bath, but there was no drain stopper. :( The price was within our budget. Thank You.

However, the location leaves a lot to be desired—it's extremely congested and not walkable at all. Noise was a major issue. The walls are paper-thin; I could hear everything from neighboring rooms and outside. Around 2 a.m., there was loud construction coming from the back lot. An hour later, I overheard what sounded like a domestic dispute that went on for nearly an hour and felt potentially dangerous. We debated calling 911, unsure if someone was in real danger. The hotel never intervened. It sounded like the shouting and door-slamming were moving through the halls, though it seemed to be coming from a different floor. Overall, it was an unsettling night.

Front desk was VERY friendly, as well as informative.

The hotel is beautiful and clean. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. I’d especially like to mention Javier, who checked us in. He was very friendly and efficient and always said hello to us when we came in or out of the hotel. We will definitely be staying here again.

The customer service at this hotel is A++. Javier is top notch. He gave me tips for where to eat and the best way to get to my concert. Also, the staff responded quickly to any and all needs. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

The receptionist was extremely nice. I told her I was staying last minute due to a canceled flight. She asked what time I was rebooked for. I told her 8 pm the next day, so she offered me a late checkout (2 pm) for FREE. So thankful for her.

My issue is with Hotels.com and a little bit with actual hotel but overall a good experience. Hotels.com has listed as pets stay for free but they do not. It is a 25 NON REFUNDABLE FEE not deposit. The hotel staff blamed hotels.com which as a guest I feel thats between you, i should not eat that cost and i did pull up and show proof. That brought the rate to 125 a night and for that amount, no extras, no breakfast, I may have booked elsewhere. I was also woken at 8am by housekeeping who then just walked into my room without knocking at 1030. Very clean...polite staff.

Clean room, Staff friendly, lighting outside could use more for the area, security on premise, nice wide halls

Close to CATS rail access, clean, quiet, economical. Quick access from CLT airport. Great stay.

Train is in walkable distance, ver convenient. Room is clean and very quiet, i had a good sleep. Bed is comfortable too, felt great for my stay and money spent.

always have a great experience every time i stay here. just be careful at night in the parking lot it's a lot of homeless wandering around but the area is pretty safe overall. also parking is limited around the front so keep that in mind when going out at night.

I was looking for something convenient to I-77 and comfortable. This hotel met both needs and then some. I got a suite and king bed for under $100. It was less than a mile from the interstate and close to multiple restaurants from fast food to steakhouse. I walked to a Mexican place that was fantastic.

This was a really nice hotel not too far from downtown Charlotte and a whole Lotta other cool things as well I would definitely recommend and stay again.

We stayed there one night, did not even look at workout area or pool. Would definitely stay again, despite no breakfast offered. One question: it's 85 degrees out...why are the lobby doors propped open? Absolutely boiling in there and huge waste of electricity. Please stop doing this.

Just slept the night after a concert but it was convenient for that. Near an IHOP for breakfast the nest morning.

Lovely property and great nightly rate; conveniently located to light rail; front desk employees were friendly and helpful. Bathroom lighting was a bit dim and some kind of breakfast (even continental) would have made the stay perfect. I will definitely stay again and recommend to others.
