Hampton Inn & Suites Deptford

I really enjoyed my suite and will be visiting again

The ironing board was broken. I asked for towels and they never came until I went out for the day and came back. First day there for breakfast was Saturday morning. We went down an hour before it was supposed to be over and there was nothing there but sausage patties and waffles. Everything was pretty much empty. It was like they closed or just stopped preparing anymore food for that day. We just went out to eat. The attendant was very nice older African American man and was very apologetic. He seemed as if he was truly sorry and wished he could have changed it. Not my usual experience at all staying at a Hampton Inn. I was not pleased but made the best of it. I learned later in my stay that they are short staffed. That needs to be addressed to prevent tarnishing the reputation of the hotel. I'm not saying I won't stay again but it was definitely not the same. The front staff some were pleasant others looked at you like they had an attitude because you had a complaint.

A worker in the mornings was very friendly and room was clean when we arrived. The only downfall that we seen was that the pillows were very flat and very uncomfortable to sleep on.
