Unique property with incredible view over San Sebastian. Conveniently located - quiet at night and quite accessible from the street with an exclusive elevator. Room was very nice, shower with really nice pressure! Pool was quite busy so we didn't use it, but we took full advantage of the spa - very nice wet spa amenities and amazing massage! Service was very nice overall within every interaction. We would definitely stay there again!

Absolutely loved everything about this hotel - excellent location but quiet, super friendly and helpful staff, fabulous breakfast and spa. Only annoying thing was the spa is an additional charge and this needs to be clearer when booking (we loved using it but it soon added up for a family of four).

The property is located on a bluff overlooking the city….that makes walking to the Old Town longer…that is until our last evening when front-desk person let us know about a hotel elevator (why didn’t the check-in person let us know????) that takes a 1/2 kilometer walk away. Room and bathroom were nice though the windowless living room was not useful for us.

Disappointed that the spa access to sauna/steam is not included. This was not clear when booking and was a reason I chose the hotel. Otherwise hotel was v nice and good location.

I've stayed here before and liked it enough to stay again. But this time I excitedly brought my costume. Only to find guests need to pay for access to the indoor pool, EU19 for 2 hours and that the outdoor pool was closed. Tried to book the indoor pool for the 2nd night but it was closed, and then the 3rd but fully booked. Just really unimpressed and will definitely stay elsewhere on my next visit.

The family room we had was superb, it felt quality as soon as we walked in. The pool was good but could do with a few more Sun loungers / deck chairs, less sofa seats as big and bulky. I have to say the pool area was immaculate. The roof top bar we used twice during the day and evening, staff are very helpful and cheerful. The views from both the pool and bar are superb. The reception team are super helpful, informative and really helped to make our stay a memorable one. Breakfast was good, having a chef at front cooking omelettes and eggs to order a nice touch. I would highly recommend this hotel to all.

Parfait ! Nous venons chaque années lors de notre séjour à St Sébastien et nous sommes toujours ravi ! L'accueil et le service est génial et attentionné, merci à toute l'équipe de l'hôtel. Les chambres sont belles et très confortables, on y dort parfaitement bien. L'insonorisation est bonne. La douche est incroyable. Nous avons testé pour la première le restaurant et c'était très bon. nous avons été bien conseillé, c'était un réel plaisir. A savoir : Il y a un parking payant sur place très pratique et le SPA est super (juste +2/3° de température à la piscine aurait été encore mieux).

Booked three nights and had high expectations considering the high price. after a long drive I went into the shower, no soap was refilled! The room was very hot. Air conditioning didn't work. We called the front desk. A man came up and said that the previous guest had turned it off incorrectly. He said he would fix it. The first night we didn't get any air and didn't sleep. On the second day we told the front desk that the AC wasn't working. She started arguing and said it was fixed. We stood up and she said they would change the settings in the basement. On the second night it was cool but we had a loud noise from a fan and couldn't sleep. On the third day we went back to the front desk after a night without a good night sleep and asked for a new room. We were met by a very rude receptionist who said everything was ok in our room. We explained that we didn't want to change rooms because we think it's funny . It was because the AC wasn't working. Incredibly rude treatment and after much discussion she said we could pack our bags and take them to the reception and we would get a new room. I have never been treated so badly. Given the price - do not book this hotel

We stayed 3 nights. Excellent location walked everywhere. Room was big and so was the bathroom. Definitely use the lift entrance so you are not walking up the hill. Only moan was that the room needed some maintenance. Shower head wouldn’t stay up unless you balanced it and the shower gel was empty and we had to ask for it to be refilled and the toilet roll holder was slanting downwards so it kept falling off. Not major problems I know, but for the price we payed for the room per night I expected housekeeping to do a better job as these should have been reported before we checked in and repaired. The bar staff were excellent.

The hotel is well located in the and they have a great lift which takes you straight down to one of the main thoroughfares. The view from our suite room was amazing and probably one of the best views available, however some of the condition and the service totally let it down. Considering the price of the hotels I was a little shocked at how poor the service was inc: * taking over 24hrs to reply to an email requesting early check in (by which point we had already arrived and stayed overnight) * Asking for extra teabags and being charged for room service delivery of a tea with tea pot * Requesting an ice bucket and being told to come to come down stairs to get it….when I asked again for it to be brought up it took 1.5 hrs * Requesting spa use with reception, who told us to go straight to the spa…in the spa there is a sign saying ask at reception * No umbrellas available (there was a lot of rain) For a hotel of this level and cost I was quite shocked at the indifference of the staff. Additionally, our room was not that clean: * large amounts of dust under the chair * mould in the shower There were groups of youths hanging around the front of the hotel and graffiti… we felt quite uncomfortable when we walked around there. Overall if I was spending this again there are better places to stay for a special occassion

Perfect location. Easy walk to the beach (5min) and into old town (10 min). Rooms were clean and adequately sized. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Beautiful roof top bar with great views. I would definitely stay here again.

We relocated here after cancelling another hotel which had zero personality. Staff were warm and helpful. Room for family with 2 kids on bunks - great. Breakfast - great. Location - great. Views from the roof sun loungers by the plunge pool - big smiles all round. Couple of small niggles when measured on the high price of a stay in San Sebastian but a lot to recommend it.

Mon avis sur cet établissement est mitigé. Son prix me semble excessif compte-tenu des chambres dites supérieures et des prestations offertes. La situation du bâtiment est très bonne en surplomb du centre-ville que l'on peut rejoindre grâce à deux ascenseurs. Il offre un joli panorama. Et les parties communes bien qu'un peu froides sont agréables, mais la chambre n'est pas à la hauteur de sa catégorie. Les parquets flottants synthétiques sont assez défraîchis. La déco quelconque. Certes il y a une belle vue. Sur la ville quoique en étage plus élevé (nous étions au troisième), ce doit être beaucoup plus spectaculaire. Notre chambre était correcte, sans plus. Le petit-déjeuner buffet était bien. Dans l'ensemble, le rapport qualité-prix ne me semble pas très bon.

La situation du bâtiment est très bonne en surplomb du centre-ville que l'on peut rejoindre grâce à deux ascenseurs. Il offre un joli panorama. Hotel was nice and in a good location to the old town, the rooftop bar and pool were a real plus. However being on the first floor I did not appreciate the flood lights outside the window and fact I could hear people checking in and out from reception, plus the mattress needs upgrading. The team were really accommodating especially sorting our cars emissions paperwork and parking was very convenient (at €25 a night).

We were very disappointed with our stay. We booked this for our honeymoon and when we arrived to the hotel it looked very different to the pictures. The lovely old stone front building is at the back so not at all what it looks like when you get there. All the pictures has big windows with a nice view which was a main reason for booking this however our room had a window 3rd the size,no view and felt like a bunker. We mentioned this to the hotel and they said they would try to find a new one but never did or reached out to us, all we got was two cava coupons. We went to ask everyday and also contacted hotels.com but the hotel refused to give any compensation. The majority of the staff was rude. When we checked out they didn't even ask if we had a good time. The rooftop bar was closed the whole time due to weather although it was sunny a lot of times. The pool was also not open all the time. We were celebrating a life event and they went above and beyond to deliver champagne to the room, upgrade our room, and help us troubleshoot receiving our tickets for a soccer game. This hotel made our San Sebastián trip! We stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel staff were very friendly & attentive. The decor of the hotel is absolutely incredible, with every attention to detail. It’s about 10 minute walk from the bus station & 10-15 minutes to all the pintxos bars! It comes well equipped with a decent gym, unfortunately we didn’t have time to experience the spa (from all the pintxos eating!). Breakfast was also a highlight, from freshly cooked omelette to basque cheesecake! The rooftop pool & bar had exceptional views 😍 We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting San Sebastián! 10/10 🌟

The property is located on a bluff overlooking the city….that makes walking to the Old Town longer…that is until our last evening when front-desk person let us know about a hotel elevator (why didn’t the check-in person let us know????) that takes a 1/2 kilometer walk away. Room and bathroom were nice though the windowless living room was not useful for us.

Location: Great location as it was an esy walk to everythingvyet far enouhh away from the crowds. Hotel: Very nice, clean, modern. Has a wonderful roof top deck with bar and pool which provide great views over the city and water. Gym is very well equiped. Great breakfast. Rooms: very nice and clean. Great shower and bathroom. Comfortable beds. Staff: Wonderful and especially the breakfast staff. I would certainly stay at this hotel again. San Sebastian is a wonderful city to visit.

Great location, just a few blocks from the beach. Easy walk from the bus station. Don't forget to ask about the elevator from the city-level. The hotel is on a hill and is quite a walk uphill if you're not aware of the elevator. It's locked and requires a code but you can call on the intercom when you arrive to have them open for you.

The welcome and check in was great, the hotel itself stunning, location and convenience fantastic, breakfast and breakfast service wonderful, dinner food beautiful, dinner service appalling. We arrived and waited some time for the staff to stop talking to each other before we were acknowledged. We were then greeted by a very arrogant, rude manager, who was very displeased that we hadn’t booked. I ripped a strip off him, as I was entertaining guests, and they felt very awkward. The evening staff completely let down an otherwise great hotel. Having said all this I would stay again.

Really enjoyed my time at this hotel. Very friendly staff and a good size room great views across the city and comfortable bedding. Whilst we really enjoyed in-house breakfast, our only criticism was the room service menu. Quality of the food was disappointing considering how great the food of San Sebastián is. In particular the pasta was very bland and overcooked. Strongly advise going out for food at night. It wasn’t a big deal to us we just went out and chose something else - we tried in house menu twice but the pizza was also disappointing. This is the only thing I felt needed improvement. Will stay here again next time, without question.

Lovely hotel, amazing roof terrace with views over the city and cost. Private elevator to better access the street. One little minus was that the spa was closed even when it was supposed to be open. The receptionist couldn't see the treatment bookings either. All in all a wonderful stay.
