Felt very new because it is (2 years). Room was spacious and had all we needed. Pool and hot tub were immaculate. Lobby had lots of space to relax.

The room was nice, bed was comfortable, and the shampoo/conditioner was really lovely & made my hair feel so soft! My one complaint is the pool. Hottub was not a true hottub, like 104 degrees, it felt more like a warm bath, and the jets were extremely weak. Also the chlorine smelled horrible, I’m not sure why it was so intense but it really stunk like something rotten and when sitting in the hottub it would burn my throat just breathing the air. And lastly the towels for the pool were so tiny and thin, almost any other hotel or Airbnb has nicer pool towels! They need to be upgraded. Otherwise it was a good stay, the room was quiet and the cost was reasonable for our stay. Staff at the frond desk was kind and easy to talk to!

Only stayed a night to avoid ferry traffic! But had an excellent time. The pool and hot tub were awesome (tho could use a couple small toys for the kids?). The bed was SO comfortable and the room itself was roomy. Loved how my 7yo son and I were able to snack on the couch and then move the giant TV to face us in bed!! The restaurant was interesting - they had these little private booths with a TV so you can watch the hockey game. The food at the restaurant was way overpriced - $21 plus tax and tip for a small bowl of leafy greens and half a tablespoon of quinoa did not bring me joy. But everything else was tops! Thanks so much :)

The hotel is new which means it's clean and nice. However, it only had one operating elevator and NO PUBLIC STAIRS. As a result, despite having our room on the 2nd floor, we had to wait a long time to get to and from our room. It's ludicrous that there are no public stairs!

We were very disappointed to hear that the hot tub wasn’t working when we arrived. There was no indication that it wasn’t going to be working when we booked and it’s the number one reason for our stay. Other then that it was a great room and we ultimately enjoyed our stay.

Pros- good for overnight stay, clean, walkable distance to a strip mall, big rooms, Cons- does not do housekeeping every day, no free breakfast; no fresh drinks in am, very small basket of fruits in lobby and water; Best Western does it much better; worst of all, they charge parking in a lot across the street for $10 a night; small swimming pool and hot tub is out of order

For a relatively newly built hotel (2023) it’s rapidly showing signs of wear. During the time we were there one of the elevators was broken down so there was only one functional elevator which caused huge delays waiting for it. The room itself was fine but signs that it’s going to deteriorate rapidly are there, particularly in the bathroom. It is a ok hotel but their attempts to be perceived as more up scale are laughable. Parking was at a city underground parking garage across the street. There was no security to this parking, no controlled access measures. With the local community issues I was very concerned about the security of our vehicle.

There was mould on the ceiling of the shower Grout missing in the shower The toilet was about 15 years old so took about 20 litres per flush but sign in bathroom says they care about environment Staff wasn’t overly friendly Overpriced for what you got should have been $150/nt but that’s the market Breakfast was average at best

Property and room was clean and new! Amazing. Had to call the front desk 4 times to have a used facecloth removed from the bathroom left from a previous guest upon check in. Bathroom was cleaned and facecloth was still not removed, bed not made:(

I was told that my room would be cleaned after 2 days. It was not. It was never touched the time that I was there. The homeless and druggies were a little to close to this property. It became a little loud

There was a used dirty facecloth in my shower upon arrival. I called the fromt desk and was offered a free breakfast. I declined as i don’t eat breakfast. No one came to get then cloth. After5 phone calls over the next 2 nights the cloth still was not removed. The front desk kept telling me they will tell the manager. No apology upon checkout. No one asked how my stay was on checkout.

It was a great location and easy to walk around. The Bistro had excellent food and staff. However, I was very disappointed in the cleaning of the room. I had to make requests for cleaning if my room and getting towels and garbage removed.

The room was spotless. The bed was sooooo comfy, but we had to pull the linens out of the foot of the bed to get them up over our shoulders. Parking was plentiful and convenient in the two garages across the street. We would recommend this hotel.

Fix your TVs. They have an option to connect to HDMI 2 that doesnt work and you have to mess with the whole system and get a universal remote just to make your own things work. Requested service for it that never arrived or knocked on the door at all. Rooms were clean, bathroom was really nice, but hard to give a good review when our main form of entertainment was so rough to get.

I rated property conditions low because of the location of my room. I booked a standard room only to find when I got there out the window, I’m looking at pieces of machinery on the second floor. I wasn’t able to have the drapes open at all. The description on the website had no pictures of the room views which is misleading. $260 a night seems like a lot when I couldn’t even open the drape to look outside. Disappointing for my first visit.

Wasn’t booking particularly for the view, but it’s a bit of a stretch to call it an ocean view. Comfort-wise, I found the bed very soft - felt luxurious but not great for back support (personal preference I suppose). I would enjoy a thicker duvet for fall/wintertime. Overall, it was a great experience and i would return. Thank you!

The room has no windows that open, no bathroom fan to exit air and a loud rumbly air conditioner built into the wall for hot and cold . There is no fresh air at all and very claustrophobic . I could not stay here more than one night

Clean modern room. Comfy bed. Spacious bathroom with huge walk show. Plenty of towels. Bedside tables are too small. Air very dry. Lightswich on one bedside light on wrong side, so had to get out of bed to turn it on or off! Only one comfy chair for a shared room for two people. Hotel in a good central location with easy parking close by.

Forgot wedding ring on nightstand upon checkout. Called a few hours later when we had reception. Was told I would receive a call back, didn't that evening. Called again the next day and the ring was never found and the housekeeping manager refused to answer transfers. Wouldn't recommend staying here.

The cleaning crew stole my gold native spoon ear rings. I had them under the tv and when I was packing my stuff up just bf I walked out the door to check out. I thought I can't forget to lack my ear rings. I was waiting on my son to come out of the bathroom so I can get my Jewlery bag and shampoo bag. Needless to say I packed up my bag forgot my earrings on the counter. Went back an hour later to claim them and all of a sudden no one seen them, found them. We waited for the front desk to locate them Fir well over an hour. No apology, no, can I take your number ill call you if they are found. They were unapologetic and said nope can't find them. Cleaning crew are not honest.

I found it unfortunate that there is no "on-site" parking. This required me to leave the property and search for space at one of the nearby parkades, at night, in unfamiliar surroundings. As a solo female traveler, this was way beyond my comfort level. For this reason, I will not stay at this hotel again, if I am travelling alone. Otherwise, the hotel was fine.

It was a great 2 nights stay as the hotel is near the downtown harbour as well as museums. It is in front of the tourist information center. The location is front of the casino and has overlooking views of the harbour. The room was very clean. The pool and the hym made our stay heavenly.

This hotel was spic and span, with the most modern bathroom and furniture design. It is right near the boardwalk and the main fun streets Two slow things - Checking in took longer than average. What the heck are they writing down by hand? - If you opt for breakfast, it is made to order from a menu, and took 10+ minutes to receive. We were the only ones in the dining area at 6:45 a.m., I cannot imagine if there are 3 families and 2 couples all wanting to eat at the same time. For $9, it was a decent price for a breakfast and coffee/tea Parking was reasonable at $9/night

Check in was good although there was some confusion as to where I needed to park my car! Our broken toilet was fixed right away. The room itself was great! And that bathroom? Can I take it home? We decided to go to the restaurant for dinner as we didn’t wan’t to drive! We entered the restaurant area and were a little confused by the decor and the fact that there was no staff! The fellow at the desk went out front to get the server! We had observed the same thing earlier in the day with a different server! Service was good after that! The menu and the food was extremely underwhelming especially given we were on Vancouver Island! Sad fish with fries & coleslaw. In my opinion the fish was cooked from frozen and over cooked two symmetrical pieces of fish! My spouse’s sandwich which was a BLT with chicken and avocado was on plain white bread and was below standard! Guess why we were the only ones in the house! Not a single local! Can I provide assistance to the great Marriott Hotel chain as to how to run a Marriott restaurant in a seafood area. Let me know! Loved the room!

Property was very clean, staff were very helpful and polite. Lots of little shops and cafes all walkable. Only con I had was the bistro hours in the hotel wasn’t great. If you wanted coffee or lunch had to grab it before they closed at 1030am. Then they re opened at 4pm.
