Holiday Inn Express & Suites - Florence - Cincinnati Airport by IHG

The beds were comfortable, the staff was awesome, and we appreciated the long term parking and free airport shuttle!

Trays of old food left in rooms. Pool was dirty. Room amenities were damaged. Told staff of unclean conditions and they made a disgusted face. No apology. No attempt to make it better. Had to leave trays of old food found in room on the hallway floor.

Property was fine. Got on the wrong Holiday Inn bus coming back from the airport and they wouldn't send a shuttle to get us even though it's about same distance as the airport. Didn't get that. Otherwise fine place to stay.

No airport shuttle for our stay and the breakfast is very limited with no real healthy meals but still not bad for a fast breakfast

The property was very clean and the staff were quite helpful. Transportation to and from the airport was a huge perk for us. We were able to leave our car on the property for a reasonable fee and the transportation was punctual.

For how busy the hotel was, our room was very quiet. The pool was a little cold, but the kids enjoyed it anyway.

We booked this property being close to the airport; offering onsite parking and an airport shuttle for our early AM departure. The hotel is relatively new and therefore up to date. The staff is very helpful and the checkin was easy. A good location for our needs.

The pool was closed the first night but open the rest. Staff was friendly and breakfast buffet was good.

We chose the hotel because of the swimming pool, but it was in maintainence the 4 days that we stayed. I tried to contact the hotel for an explanation but got no response after almost a week. Very disappointing.

After calling to hotel upon late flight arrival the shuttle Pick up from airport was fast and easy. Check-in around 03:00 was easy with kind staff. The beds were super comfy and the room was quiet. Plus nice buffet breaky in the morning with fresh and quality items.

Rooms were super clean! The breakfast was good and the staff was very attentive. We definitely enjoyed our stay.

Clean room and comfortable bed! Free breakfast was above average and chick-in and check-out were easy. I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet the hotel was, too.

There was a roach in the restroom that landed on the sink and crawled about as I was doing my makeup. I called the front desk to send someone to kill it and house keeping showed up immediately and did so. When I spoke to the general manager Jackie, she told me that "roaches don\'t fly; you won\'t find a roach that flys". When I became passionate about the situation, as she had invalidated my experience, she hung up on me. I called back and requested to speak to her again, the front desk staff hung up on me as well. I eventually reached Jackie and she proceeded to tell me that she "lived in the ghetto when she was younger, so I know bugs". She then said to me, "I\'m not sure what has happened in your life to make you afraid of bugs, but you\'re going to have a hard life because bugs are everywhere". She did give me a partial refund for my experience, but her comments were asinine and highly offensive. I\'m not sure why she would relate bugs to "the ghetto" or why she would presume that I would understand her reference. The tile in front of the shower was unsteady and unstable. The staff lacked communication amongst each other, as I was granted a late checkout by two different staff at separate times, but disturbed three different times, by people knocking on the door inquiring about whether I was checking out or not.

Spotlessly clean and everything like new.

First room smelled very bad like dirty musty feet. Finally got moved to a new room which was better.

The hotel stay was great! We appreciate the exceptional customer service from your staff - Marianne and Cassie. The room was very clean and hotel site was excellent. Everything we need was within minutes from our stay. We give the hotel site and staff a 10 rating - above and beyond expectations.

The place is very clean and quiet, breakfast quite tasty. Staff very pleasant.

We stayed the night before we flew out of town. The room was spotless, hotel was quiet, the staff was friendly!! perfection

There was an odor in the lobby. Room didn’t even have a toilet paper holder. Tub stopper wouldn’t stay up while showering. AC unit had trouble keeping up and was loud. Airplane noise. Some general areas that could have been cleaner. Beds were comfortable. Housekeeping was very nice and accommodating. Overall not bad but could be improved.

Reason for 3 star in comfort was the air quality and noise of heat/cooling system. Extremely dry and noisy leading to a poor night’s sleep.

Hi---I was at the end of the hall--Room 329 I believe. I was assigned next to an airline pilot. Pilots are wonderful people, and it appears many use this Inn. Sadly, though, pilots rise at 4:00 am, unlike me. Sadly as well, the alarm in the room of the pilot next to me went off at 4:05 a.m.--the walls are thin enough I could easily hear him talking on the phone earlier in the evening. To test this, while I bring my own alarm clock, I checked the clock in my room: its alarm was set for 4:15 a.m. I don't think the desk clerk mistook me for a pilot, so I was sad to be awakened at 4:00 a.m. I didn't really go back to sleep that morning. It might be helpful to place non-pilots in a different area in the future. So of us are light sleepers. Thnx.

The hotel is in an excellent location near the airport and is within convient walking distance to many shops and restaurants. The down side was that we spent a good portion of the night listening to kids jump on our head from the room above. It was really loud and sounded like they were going to come straight through the ceiling. My suggestion would be to keep kids on the lower floors.

Quick, overnight stay and hotel and staff were wonderful. Only strike is that the blinds didn’t work so we weren’t able to see outside.

Comfy bed. Large room. In path of airport landing, but plane noise didn't bother us.

Great location with easy access to Cincy airport , shopping and food. Clean room. Only complaint was we had an end of hall room next to an exterior exit and the door opening and closing was very loud during night and morning especially . Need bathroom exhaust fans also.

We stayed here the night before our flight. We were very tired after a 14 day trip across 7 states. The room was very quiet and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. We all got a good night of sleep.

Could not sleep stayed in the front and heard planes taking off non stop

Great customer service, very helpful. Clean and fresh. Only thing, the TV was quirky; we couldn’t get our favorite news station to come up.

On our way to Pennsylvania via Kentucky and Ohio. Decided that Florence, KY was a good place to stay. The price was reasonable for our overnight stay and the staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. (They recommended a nice restaurant and were extra gracious when we checked out.)

Stayed with my family while we visited the arc and creation museum. Wonderful stay and great staff who went above and beyond. The front desk ladies really made the world of difference.

Check-in process was a bit confusing as the service person wasn't sure if the room number I was given was already occupied. Other than that the stay was perfect.

Mary was the most wonderful host this hotel has ever had! She even baked fresh cookies and made the entire process seamless.

Had to contact tech support to get the wifi to work on my computer, which I only found out the day after I needed the connection because the night staffer did not know this was an option. Had to get the assistant manager to change the sheets and empty the trash because the front desk attendant neglected to inform the cleaning staff to go back to my room after I departed. The guest laundry used an app and one of the machines did not work, I was instructed to use a different machine and told that I'd be refunded for the non-functioning one. Overall, not a terrible stay, but good communication would have vastly improved the trip.

We stayed for 5 nights and had a great experience. The staff were very nice and kind. The breakfast was fine although everyday was almost the same. The hotel was super clean. Bella was very accommodative one day when I needed our room to be cleaned before my meeting. She came in immediately and cleaned our room very well. Kudos to Bella! Thanks to all the staff!

I stayed 1 night with my family of 4 for a little weekend getaway. This hotel is super clean. Our room was clean, beds were comfortable, buffet breakfast was hot, delicious & had a nice variety of food served. The new night shift employee at the desk for check-in charged me for our room after I had already paid for it through Hotels.com, thankfully Lauren at the front desk was able to fix it for us in the morning & I didn't get charged twice! The night shift employee assigned us to a room that was already occupied, but was quick to assign us a different room. I'm just glad the person in that 1st room happened to be standing in their doorway with the door open, otherwise that could have gone badly. That being said, the night shift employee was still nice & was quick to bring us extra towels, a pillow & blanket. All-in-all, I'd definitely stay here again. Thank you for a great stay!!

Holiday Inn Express delivers again! Convenient location, quiet and immaculate. The breakfast items were hot and delicious and great quality. The staff were courteous and accommodating. I highly recommend this hotel. I will definitely be back.
