Our stay at the Spalato was excellent. We were first met by our host Stipe, who was extremely hospitable and friendly and gave many recommendations of what to see and where to eat. The apartments are located in the heart of Split old Town with easy access to everywhere by foot, these beautiful apartments have been decorated and designed with luxury and comfort in mind. As a host myself, I know the importance of keeping a high standard when guests arrive and I must say that our apartment was beautifully decorated and maintained with love and care. Would certainly stay again! Keep in mind that if you have a rental car, cars are restricted and not allowed in the old town of Split since the roads are so narrow, so you need to park just outside in one of the car parks. They charge €1.50 per hour regardless of how many hours or days you require. We parked near a stadium for free just outside of Split old town and took an Uber for a less than €5.

Installé dans une annexe au 2 obrov au 3°étage sans ascenseur.le rez-de-chaussée de chaussée est occupe par un bar ainsi, les chambres donnant sur la rue subissent jusqu,a minuit et demi des conversations puis les engins de nettoyage de rues.la climatisation de la chambre 3 fonctionnait par intermitance. Enfin le quatrième étage était occupé par des gens bruyants mettant en évidence la mauvaise isolation du plafond. Établissement disposant de belles chambres confortables mais à réserver aux personnes voulant profiter de l,hypercentre touristique entièrement piétonnier.il faut marcher 150 à 200metres pour accéder aux taxis réservés

The Appartment itself was great but it is advertised as a bed and breakfast but they do not do breakfast which we only found out once we arrived. So this is misleading. They also don’t have laundry services as stated in the property info or have secure luggage storage as stated, you can leave your bags in the lobby but anyone with access to the building then has access to your bags. The Appartment itself was very nice and clean. It is very central to everything in old town.

Während unseres 3 Tägigen Aufenthaltes wurden leider kein einziges mal die Handtücher gewechselt auch wurde kein Abfalleimer geleert oder das Bett gemacht...es gab also absolut keinen Zimmerservice. Parkplatz ist nicht vorhanden! auch kein Transfer! Wir mussten außerhalb der Fussgängerzone parken....Der Parkplatz wurde uns vom Gastgeber empfohlen...allerdings für.1.50 € pro Stunde !.die Zimmer sind modern und sauber, die Lage ist top und obwohl mitten im Getümmel gut isoliert und ruhig. Man schläft sehr gut, die Betten sind bequem. Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich und telefonisch erreichbar..es gibt keine dauerhaft Besetzte Rezeption eine Verlängerung unseres Aufethaltes war jedoch unkompliziert und direkt am telefon machbar... im großen und ganzen ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt..leider ohne Zimmerservice und teurem Parkplatz.

First, the positives: it has an unbeatable location in the old town, just steps from Diocletian’s Palace. The rooms are comfortable, clean and beautifully decorated. They had great showers with plenty of hot water and good water pressure. The beds were soft yet comfortable. The attentiveness of Milana was so helpful. The negatives may or may not be dealbreakers for you. First, the noise. Because of its location, there will be people passing right under your windows almost 24 hrs per day, and there is no soundproofing. I heard plenty of people passing by talking and laughing as late as 3 am and as early as 6 am. If you are a light sleeper, request a room on a higher floor, brings earplugs, use a white noise machine, or all three. Second, there is no parking nearby. I don’t know why the listing says parking is available for 20€ per day. The closest lot is public paid parking. It is a 7-minute walk, and the cost is 1€ per hour in low season or 1.6€ per hour in high season. Third, there is no accessibility for people with mobility issues. Even if you have a first-floor room, there is a small winding marble staircase to enter the building. And, as the listing indicates, no elevator inside. Be aware. Overall, I would recommend it as long as it meets your needs.

The lady who checked us in was great! The room was really nice, once we got there. Found out we were staying in a different location with a dirty, unlocked stairwell. The person (guy) I contacted about a airport shuttle and checking in didn’t really want to help in any way, I set the shuttle up through the lady we checked in with. Room wasn’t cleaned well, lots of hair on bathroom floor. There was a bonus though, we found a scorpion in the bathroom. Having said all that great location is why you would stay.

Cleanliness A , room is updated and spacious, water pressure is great, bed n linens are good, host was easy to reach. Didn't need to use AC but I'm sure it works fine. Location is excellent, walking distance to Riva.

Fernseher und Kühlschrank gingen nicht. Es hat nur eine Steckdose funktioniert. Die Lage ist fantastisch, das Zimmer ist geräumig wurde aber nicht gereinigt während unseres 5 Tage Aufenthalts. Am 3 Tag bekamen wir neue Handtücher aber die Mülleimer wurden nicht entleert. Die 4 Sterne die von Expedia angegeben werden sind nicht Internationaler Standard. Meiner Meinung ist es ein gutes 2 Sterne Hotel wenn die beschriebenen Mängel behoben werden könnte Google mit seinen 3 Sternen recht haben.

Location was great. Friendly receptionist. Average room with 2 single beds pushed together with single quits and bedding with comfy mattress. A little noisy when other guests were coming and going could be heard, but not a major issue. Could not pay by credit card - so make sure you have enough cash. Mould around bathroom window which requires cleaning asap.

Standard var helt grei, ingen resturant på hotell og ingen daglig rengjøring, men det kunne rengjøres på etterspørsel. Vask av klær å håndklær gikk ikke pga vaskemaskin var i ustand. Men generelt et greit opphold. Følte det var litt dyrt.

Both the property and staff were superb. We needed a couple of nights stay in Split before getting on our cruise liner and for the price this couldn’t be best. The room was lovely, great shower, and air conditioning. Location was just off a pretty square in the Old Town which was stunning. The hotel arranged for a taxi to collect us from the airport (€40) and despite us arriving very late in the evening we could easily access our room. The ladies on reception made us feel welcome and helped us with all our enquiries. Overall we had a great stay, and would recommend this property highly.

The room was lovely, and being in Old Town, surrounded by lots of interesting sights and great eateries. It is quite noisy outside and the sound carried in, but it didn't bother us too much. The hosts were friendly, very helpful, quick to respond, and shared great information. They also went above and beyond to meet the delivery driver who brought our luggage after it missed the flight, and bring it to the room for us. We were very appreciative. Highly recommend.

Location was great. Friendly receptionist. Average room with 2 single beds pushed together with single quits and bedding with comfy mattress. A little noisy when other guests were coming and going could be heard, but not a major issue. Could not pay by credit card - so make sure you have enough cash. First, the positives: it has an unbeatable location in the old town, just steps from Diocletian’s Palace. The rooms are comfortable, clean and beautifully decorated. They had great showers with plenty of hot water and good water pressure. The beds were soft yet comfortable. The attentiveness of Milana was so helpful. The negatives may or may not be dealbreakers for you. First, the noise. Because of its location, there will be people passing right under your windows almost 24 hrs per day, and there is no soundproofing. I heard plenty of people passing by talking and laughing as late as 3 am and as early as 6 am. If you are a light sleeper, request a room on a higher floor, brings earplugs, use a white noise machine, or all three. Second, there is no parking nearby. I don’t know why the listing says parking is available for 20€ per day. The closest lot is public paid parking. It is a 7-minute walk, and the cost is 1€ per hour in low season or 1.6€ per hour in high season. Third, there is no accessibility for people with mobility issues. Even if you have a first-floor room, there is a small winding marble staircase to enter the building. And, as the listing indicates, no elevator inside. Be aware. Both the property and staff were superb. We needed a couple of nights stay in Split before getting on our cruise liner and for the price this couldn’t be best. The room was lovely, great shower, and air conditioning. Location was just off a pretty square in the Old Town which was stunning. The hotel arranged for a taxi to collect us from the airport (€40) and despite us arriving very late in the evening we could easily access our room. The ladies on reception made us feel welcome and helped us with all our enquiries. Overall we had a great stay, and would recommend this property highly.

The lady who checked us in was great! The room was really nice, once we got there. Found out we were staying in a different location with a dirty, unlocked stairwell. The person (guy) I contacted about a airport shuttle and checking in didn’t really want to help in any way, I set the shuttle up through the lady we checked in with. Room wasn’t cleaned well, lots of hair on bathroom floor. There was a bonus though, we found a scorpion in the bathroom. Having said all that great location is why you would stay.

The room was lovely, and being in Old Town, surrounded by lots of interesting sights and great eateries. It is quite noisy outside and the sound carried in, but it didn't bother us too much. The hosts were friendly, very helpful, quick to respond, and shared great information. They also went above and beyond to meet the delivery driver who brought our luggage after it missed the flight, and bring it to the room for us. We were very appreciative. Highly recommend.

I stayed here for one night while traveling through Croatia. Great location! Everything is very walkable from the property. Milana was extremely helpful in providing directions, food recommendations but mostly importantly booking a car to take me to the airport as I had a very early flight heading to Italy the next day. I would highly recommend staying here while you are in Split.

We only stayed for a night in the rooms. Although the building itself could do with some attention the room was perfect for our purpose. I'd only fault that, as there was a kettle provided, I don't quite get how there was only tea available ( no coffee) Special mention to Milana as we areived past thw max checking time and was with us within minutes from calling her, showed us around and recommended places where we coild have a quick dinner.

The Appartment itself was great but it is advertised as a bed and breakfast but they do not do breakfast which we only found out once we arrived. So this is misleading. They also don’t have laundry services as stated in the property info or have secure luggage storage as stated, you can leave your bags in the lobby but anyone with access to the building then has access to your bags. The Appartment itself was very nice and clean. It is very central to everything in old town.

The room was in a convenient location to walk to many things. We were able to pay for them to arrange pickup at the airport which was nice. The room was pretty clean and easy to check in to. Make sure you are prepared to pay in cash though.
