Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Houston League City

I booked 3 non refundable rooms. 1 of the rooms had 3 single ladies staying in it. I chose to put the room in "Lady1's" name. well it turns out Lady1 could not make the trip but the other 2 ladies did. When i got to the hotel, they would not honor the reservation because Lady1 was not present. They made me pay for the room again. I could have put that room under any of the 3 ladies at the time of the reservation so i just picked one. Who knew at that time she would not be able to travel. I understand not being able to change a non refundable rate but i should have at least be given the option to put one of the other ladies names. NOT HAPPY.

Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites League City is a nice, clean facility conveniently located. The only problem we had was our reservation was cancelled through Hotels.com because their payment didn't go through. My credit card was charged 3 weeks earlier, but the payment sent to the Fairfield, by Hotels.com was not done properly. It took an hour at the front desk calling the 800 number and being bounced around to different reps to try and figure out the problem. We have used Hotels.com before and never had this problem before. Not sure I want to risk it again. If there had not been rooms still available we would have been having to find other places to stay after midnight and a long drive.
