The room and lobby area were spotless, and I liked the decor. Even though I saw 2 pets throughout my stay, it was very quiet. It’s nice that people can bring their pets with them when they stay! Downsides to the visit: 1) The ice machine was broken throughout my stay. 2) One of the bedside table USB outlets on the side nearest the window did not work; also, the prong outlet on the bedside table by the wall worked, but was jutting out of the socket, and at times, I smelled a slight burnt smell. 3) the hotel was not in the best part of town. While I was grateful for the gas station next door, there were some dicey people coming in and out of the hotel. Overall, it was a good stay, but way overpriced for what I got.

Very nice stay for what we needed (break from a long road trip). Unfortunately, I was awoken from a decent amount of consistent noise (footsteps on stairwell?) during the night in the "soundproof" room but will admit to be a light sleeper...so maybe others wouldn't mind. Workout room was great. Breakfast was pretty yummy with a good selection!

Absolutely loved our stay here! We had a dog with us and pet fee ($25) is worth it. Room was super clean and beautiful. We won’t be staying anywhere else and will ALWAYS look for an avid now when traveling! Loved their market, coffee/tea options, breakfast- literally everything. You won’t regret this stay. 10/10!

Room was clean. Air worked great. Almost new building. Can hear loud cars on interstate is only drawback.great breakfast and coffee close to major attractions. They do have a courtesy van also but did not inquire

My only complaint was there was no in room coffee maker. I like to have a cup of coffee before I get ready for the day. I had to get dressed and go to the lobby early morning just to get a cup of coffee.

I chose this hotel because it seems like it would be a rather new facility upon entry. I waited for a few moments to be waited on by someone who seemed like they didn’t want to be there and then was told my room number and when I went to the floor. My room was on the first thing I noticed was the dirty carpet in the hallways and then my room had no room number. The floor in my room was dirty and needed to be mopped. The shower was filthy and needed mold. Mediation in the showerhead was very calcified overall it’s not a terrible hotel but their head of housekeeping needs to be fired.

Room layout was great. Bed and pillows super comfortable. The room could have been a little cleaner. Floor needed a mopping. Saw a couple hairs in shower. Breakfast was a lot of packaged foods but a lot of choices. I liked it. If passing by I would stay again.

There seemed to be an issue checking us in. There may have been a newer staff person still being trained and she needed assistance from a 2nd staff person. This person seemed irritated. The issue was straightened out. This initial interaction seemed a bit tense and not very welcoming. Upon getting ourselves into the room I went into the bathroom. I noticed the floor had some soiled spots on the gray tile. There was also hair left on the floor in the corner of bathroom. To me the floor looked like it had not been cleaned since the last visitor. I was giving the room a lookover after reading some previous poor cleaning comments from other guests comments. The shower also showed a film on the floor like it had not been cleaned. The beds were clean and the room otherwise was neat. The staff never acknowledged us or welcomed us back when we later returned to the room after dinner which I thought a bit rude. The next days checkout process was better along with a different staff member.

Train horns all night. Couldn't sleep. Dirty bathroom with mold in shower and dirt stains in shower pan. Expedia customer service advised against me staying there after they spoke with the Avid staff saying they were incredibly rude to them. I should have listened. Unsafe area with motorcycles racing on the road outside the hotel all night. Breakfast was not good. The only thing we liked was the decor of the hotel.

Check in was easy. We did have to change rooms because the original room we were given had a dirty shower. The lady at the front desk said it was due to hard water...........I grew up on a farm with a well and hard water, at no time did our bathroom look like that shower. When we checked out the next morning the lady at the desk said they are trying to get the showers updated. Other than that, the beds were comfortable, and the rest of the room was nice and clean. Not a lot of choices for breakfast but it was okay.

Had a room above us making a lot of noise all night. called the front desk at 10pm and 2:30 am. Nothing was done about it. Made a mention about it to the front desk in the morning as was told I should have requested a room on that floor when I booked. so basically my fault.

The hotel was modern, rooms spacious, beds comfortable and the grab and go breakfast was good. The only issue we had, was the train’s horn that sounded like it was coming through our room all night long. The tracks were about a 1/2 block away.

Other than the manager and one other staff member, staff was rude and never apologized for all the inconveniences that happened during my stay. Worst customer service and now I’m stuck with extra charges I didn’t authorize. Thanks for ruining my holidays.

It was very loud, we called several times to front desk and they acted like they could care less. Said a bus of a basketball team came. They were jumping, banging, screaming for several hours above our room We said, so it doesn't matter that we paid for a room to sleep? She acted like not really. First lady didn't even do anything. 2nd call, the lady said she just got on duty. Also had wait long to get towels next day when we even went down to desk to ask for some. Room was not very clean, just basics. Mirror had toothpaste on it from someone before. Floors and corners dirty. Wont stay here again.

The premise seemed clean and new. The beds were comfortable, shower had food pressure, food options were average. Check in process took an extraordinary long amount of time. We were super tired and did not appreciate the slow computers and lack of communication. Took at least 45 minutes to check in.

Got there and our air conditioning wasn't working, addressed it with the lady at the front desk, who was incredibly rude. She advised me to just push the reset button on the power cord, and asked if I'd used the thermostat in the wall or used the buttons on the unit. Which I could see people doing but I said no I used the thermostat and she rolled her eyes at me. I went back to the room and tried it three times to no avail. Our room was 80 degrees by the time we went to bed and super humid. Was told there would be breakfast until 10 yet went at 9 and again at 9:30 and there were no hot options available. There were two bagels and some prepackaged muffins. Our bathroom was dirty and in need of repairs, then we found a huge spider and web in our shower. I stayed here a year ago and it was not like this, definitely won't be staying again.

Property is very clean, but there were a couple things that could’ve improved. There are a few things in the breakfast area that were broken and by 8 o’clock some of the breakfast items were already gone and probably could’ve been restocked. We did get some noise from the room above us from people walking around, but other than that it was a good day and a great value.
