La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham - Red Oak TX IH-35E

Overall, everything was great. Service was good, room was clean, breakfast was hot and fresh. The only issue was that in the stairwell up to the 4th floor, there were multiple spots in the ceiling where water was leaking. Buckets were set up throughout the stairwell to catch the water, but it was definitely concerning.

Room was clean, stay was easy and comfortable. One dryer in the laundry room was broken. Laundry probably needs to be serviced. Staff was very friendly and our room was clean.

Great Infrastructure and Customer Service!

Very nice stay. Quiet location near shopping. Nice little gym and an outdoor pool. Breakfast is standard for this type of hotel. Overall, a great hotel for the cost.

One of the bathrooms downstairs were out of order. The other one was locked. This was during breakfast time. They were not in a rush to fix the problem. The pool area did not have towels do we had to use the ones from the room.

Wonderful stay! Nice, clean, spacious room. Swimming pool is open 24 hours. Staff friendly and helpful.

The receptionist was outstanding and extremely helpful during my check in. Room was clean and neat. Parking could be better if not so many large trucks with trailers taking up numerous spot. Very impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel,

The first room I checked into had makeup on the pillows and sheets. I requested another room and that room had stuff on the pillows too. I asked to check out early and left. They denied me a refund and I was only there 2 hrs. The girl at the desk was very nice however her reasoning for the rooms being dirty was because of the language barrier with housekeeping.

Clean, modern inn just off I35. Welcoming staff, extremely comfortable and clean room, better than average breakfast. Pumpkin spice waffles were a treat. Would definitely stop here again.

Very noisy due to highway noise

This is a nice hotel. We reserved a handicapped accessible room which was nice. It had a bathtub with a transfer bench rather than a roll in shower which we would have preferred. The only real issue is that the hotel is noisy due to being right off interstate 35. A room not on the highway side might be better. But aside from the highway noise it was a nice place.

Everything was good except room air conditioner was so rattly and noisy that we had to sleep with ear plugs.

Nice hotel, but location adjacent to the freeway was a big negative. Very noisy, and view was the freeway. Very nice staff, and clean and new.

Terrible Wi-Fi connection. Was unable to work which was the reason I am on the road. The bed was uncomfortable. Lumpy and hard. Was not aware I was going to have to be charged in advance for my incidentals. Don’t recall the last time I’ve ever had to do this. I was told this is the national standard for all Wyndham properties but I have a Wyndham rewards member and I don’t recall ever paying this upfront. Needless to say I’m going back to best Western rewards program.

Room was nice and clean, but get one on the east side of the building or you’ll be listening to sirens and jake-brakes on I-35 all night.

Too close to highway. No sleep with noise

The pillows are like bricks! Otherwise the hotel was comfortable.

Right next to the highway and it was noisy. The shower water pressure was next to nothing on the third floor. Had to be the in my top 3 of ranking for worst shower. Overall, it was clean and felt safe.

WiFi was very poor in the rooms! I asked the front desk about the issues because I booked for 4 days and she said it’s something they have to work on so it was very inconvenient! You have to go down in the lobby for a strong signal. I won’t be staying there anymore!

We stayed 2 nights. The first night our key tag barely worked but we got in. The next morning we went downstairs to their breakfast which is average but when we went back to our room to shower and go to an important meeting the key tag would Not work. We immediately went downstairs to let them know. They sent someone up and they couldn’t open it. They went back downstairs and tried another key that did Not work. They went back down and it took several minutes each time. They eventually brought some contraption like long type of coat hanger and after several attempts finally opened the door. The Lady was very nice but didn’t speak a word of English. She left and we didn’t know what to do so my wife showered as I waited. She finally came back up with a battery pack for the door but it didn’t work so she went back down to get something else. That didn’t work either. She went back downstairs and we finally got a call that they were moving us to another room. The whole process took over an hour and a half. I missed my meeting and they said they would give us something for our trouble. When we checked out we got nothing so I asked about it. They said they would keep it open until the head Manager came in and they would call or text me. They never did and later that night I received an email for the full amount with no response.

I had a noise complaint for 2 days. It wasnt properly addressed until the morning I left.

Poor managerial skills when assistance was needed.

The responsiveness of the manager was simply outstanding

Check in was horrible. Male who checked us in was rude, inattentive and shouldn't be working a front desk. We prepaid or would have left. We went to get towels later and he was still there and we left without towels. Apparently his phone was mor important than multiple customers waiting. Road noise was loud due to construction. Hotel was good, however one person can destroy a trip and he was it.

Property was clean and well maintained. The front desk greeted us warmly and our room was ready, even with early check in. Being close to the highway didn't affect the stay as far as noise. Would stay here again.

We had an issue at first with getting a room that had a bed that smelt of pee and hair in it, but The staff was very accommodating and got us a new room. We ended up losing a piece of jewelry when we left and Katrina was very nice and helped us through it. We ended up finding the item, but we really appreciated the staffs assistance throughout the stressful search.

This is my second time staying at the La Quinta in Red Oak, TX. Both times my stay was wonderful. Hotel is new and clean. Staff is exceptional. Katrina Duncan, the general manager, always greets me with a smile and when I see her throughout my stay she always ask me how my stay is coming along. Also, she helped me pick out a local restaurant to eat. I will definitely be staying again in the future.

Hotel is right off highway and in a convenient location.

Good location south of Dallas

Very quiet, new construction. Walmart super center and restaurants are just across the street. Right by the highway still very quiet environment.

Sadly in May 2025 this hotel is surrounded by construction and isn’t the easiest to get to - but it is located conveniently near a WalMart and Chipotle and other good spots. Front desk staff was really kind too. I’d recommend.

This was the perfect hotel to stay at. It was under $100/night and had literally everything you could want but better in a hotel. Super clean rooms with no mold, odor, or pests. Complimentary breakfast was surprisingly great as well as their outdoor pool. The front desk service was also the best! I would recommend this hotel to anyone 10/10!

Probably the best hotel in Red Oak. Breakfast was marginal overall, but biscuits and gravy was a best part.

Nice, new facility well situated with easy access and close to several fast food restaurants and I-35. My only disappointment was the breakfast offering--not a lot of choices, but available food was good (except I didn't care for coffee, and not 1/2-1/2 creamer was offered).
