Very cool hotel! We enjoyed the look of the building, the room, and the beds were so comfy we didn't want to get out of em'. The bathroom in our room was super nice. Heated toilet seat a tv in the mirror and the shower/bathtub was lovely. We also enjoyed the hot tub, a game area where bowling is and the food at the restaurant there. Only problem I had was we had 3 guests in our room and not enough coffee or towels but not a huge deal. We will be back for sure.

Very impressed with the sauna! Gym was ok, not a lot of equipment, but the sauna made up for it. Rooftop lounge was a nice touch. The decor was very cool. Definitely stay here again if I’m ever back in Sioux City!

Was to fancy for my liking. Parking was not good. Elevators were not fun.

Beautiful appointed rooms. Only downside…parking. They do have onsite parking but between 7-10 pm no parking in the lot due to employees and restaurant patrons. So you either need to not have a couple of cocktails at the bar ( which I do not recommend, Austin’s old fashioned is amazing) or get up around 6 am to make sure you don’t get a parking ticket.

This place is incredible! Clean, service is great, rooms are amazing, pool and gym are spectacular. This place is top notch and I can’t wait to go back!

The day we stayed for 25th Anniversary, the roof top and game area were closed. Major disappointment.

Several things went wrong unfortunately. We had a block of four rooms to celebrate my sons Birthday. We werent able to get checked in on time and had to wait a little bit. We had reservations at the bowling alley and we were told we would get an hour and a half to bowl and we only got an hour in total and the servers were rude. After bowling we were going to use the pool and hot tub and those were out of commission for some reason. Woodbiry restaurant was amazing. I really hope this property steps up there skills. Its a beautiful property that seems to be running real bad.

This property was amazing. We decided to try this hotel instead of our usual choice while in Sioux City. We were welcomed by Surita at the front desk, who was very knowledgeable about the history of the property and informative about the amenities onsite. What was going to be a one night stay turned into two. The Steakhouse food and service was fabulous. The butter cake divine! I booked a massage at Two Finches with David. The pool area not only has a nice size hot tub but sauna room slso. What was going to be just a night out and away turned into a beautiful spa weekend getaway.

The building itself is beautiful, and my room looked great as well. Beauty, however, only goes so far when function is lacking. When we first arrived, our room’s HVAC hadn’t been running. We called the desk, and they turned it on, assuring us it would be fine by the time we got back from dinner. Unfortunately, it never really cooled down—only dropping to about 72–73 degrees. Not unbearable, but definitely uncomfortable when trying to sleep under a heavy duvet. They did offer to change our room, but by that point (around 8 p.m.) I was exhausted, and the only available rooms were multiple floors away. It seems to me the hotel should know whether a room’s HVAC is working before checking in a guest. The second issue was the hot tub being out of commission. This was especially frustrating because two days earlier I had specifically called to confirm it was working and was told that it was. As we were on a motorcycle trek, soaking after 400+ miles of riding was something we were really counting on. When I asked the desk, they said it was down for “routine maintenance” and had been expected. That made it worse—if it was scheduled, I should have been told the truth when I called. Instead, I was misled. The front desk even commented that maintenance and the front desk don’t communicate, which doesn’t inspire confidence. So yes, the building looks nice, and the room was comfortable enough. But overall, the experience was disappointing. Attention to detail was missing, communication

The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. However when we arrived our room wasn't ready. We left for a couple of hours and came back. They gave us our key, but the cleaning lady had just started on it, and was inside, so still not ready. There was only one staff person at the desk dealing with a long line of people there to see Jane Goodall, so they didn't seem prepared or adequately staffed. The room was very nice but right next to the road and so noisy we were up half the night! The pool area was a huge mess with dirty towels, cups etc and no towels. Also there was no soap, shampoo or towels in the shower so my husband had to use dirty towels! He also had to get hand soap from the sink. We would expect much better from a hotel like this! On a positive note, the stuff that we did deal with were very polite and kind.

The room we were sent to on checkin was still dirty, with garbage takeout containers and the bed tossed. The second room we were sent to was the wrong type of room completely. Even on our third trip to the front desk, the clerk just blamed “something wrong in the system” and clearly couldn’t be bothered to care and certainly couldn’t muster the energy to apologize for the inconvenience or waste of our time. The third room, was fine, but upon entering the bathroom, we found that the curtains didn’t cover the bottom 6 inches of the window. My husband had to climb up on the window sill to lower it so we didn’t expose ourselves to anyone, because we refused to go to a fourth room. None of the staff seemed to care at all. And how does a hotel at that price point not have room service?!?

Supposed to be pet friendly yet they had no area for pets to potty other than some very small landscaped areas in the back alley which were obviously not meant for pets. Desk staff were smug. The room was grimy filthy. The commode with the bidet smelled strongly like an outhouse. The counters, door handles, and product dispensers were smeared up with something. The coffee maker had rust colored sludge in the water reservoir. AND THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE A LUXURY HOTEL??? Nope

Room was clean- not overly so. There was a stain on the hospitality card they left, hair in the bath. But nothing overtly icky. It was quiet and secure. Close parking lot. Boys enjoyed the pool!

No breakfast offered after having paid the upgrade. Rooms HVAC sounded like it was going to break and couldn't keep the room at the temp set. Having no microwave so a huge let down, because if you bring left overs or have a dietary requirement that needs an ability to partially heat, you cant. Room floors could have been better, excessive amount of dust along the carpet/baseboards.

New modern and clean place. Not enough parking space for customers. The staff didn't do a good job of cleaning the room and made bed but they are nice and polite.

Beautiful, clean hotel!

Room was subpar in terms of cleanliness. Could've been cleaner underneath furniture and bathroom fixtures. We paid for a suite so it is expected to be pristine. Ants were a problem in our suite as well but the hotel as a whole was very beautiful.

I really like the bathroom toilet cause it had like a seat warmer

The rooms were nice along with the amenities. The only compliant was the rooms facing the street are loud especially at night. Any car or noise from the outdoors could be heard quite clearly. The windows do not suppress any sound from outdoors.

The place is nice, as far as returning the building to it's previous glory. However, there are a lot of details that were missed in the experience. I have left a very detailed review on Google, as I am unable to add enough words here. The bed was hard. The noise front outside kept me up most of the night (loud mufflers, helicopter & a club/bar's thumping music). The wifi didn't work with either our computers or the room's TV streaming services. The shower head was too high to adjust, which made for an uncomfortable shower & caused the bathroom floor get flooded with water as it was pointed at the shower door. The signage throughout the property was pour, so we had to just wander around looking for things a lot. The information on the info channel of the TV was lacking. For example, it told us that there is a pool with towels, but no hours are listed. The balcony of our room consisted of a glass walled off smaller space with two metal chairs with a view of a parking garage. We ate at the restaurant once. The steaks were fine, but the sides were lacking. The green beans had no seasoning on them. The polenta had nice flavor but was not quite cold. The baked potato was good. The creamed corn was more like garlic soup with corn. I LOVE garlic and it was too much garlic for me. The dessert menu had creme brulee on it (just those two words). What I received was raspberry creme brulee. Our service was great, though you could tell our server felt rushed. We won't return.

Beautiful room. Loved the heated toilet seat. But they really need a microwave in the rooms

Very nice hotel if you don't need a microwave in your room. Bidet was a nice touch. My shower floor was very slippery, they need non skid mats or decals. Great bed/mattress/pillows. Loved the pool and dry sauna. Nice gym and spa as well.

Was nice to stay at an historic like the Warrior Hotel. The standard room is not huge and the walls are not as noise proof as I would like , but the overall experience was very good.

Phenomenal hotel. Updated and yet classic. Large updated, clean, and vaulted ceilings in the room. It felt really upscale.

Didn’t get to check in as early reservation like agreed upon with worker prior to check in didn’t get the room I reserved no balcony which I reserved 1 1/2 hour late to check in because it wasn’t clean so had to take whatever room was clean , air conditioner didn’t work the room was 75 degrees

We had to wait an hour to check in from the check in time of 4pm

This property was fantastic, elegant with beautiful decor and furnishings and super helpful and friendly staff. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend this hotel

Check-in was complicated when we were assigned to a room that was already inhabited buy another family. It was awkward but expertly rectified by the front desk staff. The difficulties came on day 2: we normally stay at lower star hotels, but for mothers day, we decided to splurge. Imagine our shock when we get back to the hotel with plans to eat at the hotel restaurant, only to find out the hours posted online are incorrect, so we can't. Alright, the bowling alley is open for anther 20 minutes, so we decide to see what we can get there. When we arrive, we're told they're closing early, we can't even have a beverage. (Even though there's a person bowling, a person paying a tab, and people still eating at a table.) NOT five-star service, NOT likely to come back.

The Warrior Hotel is an amazing place to stay! My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. The staff was friendly and professional. Our room was outstanding! I would definitely rate this as a 5 star experience! The amenities are terrific. The bidet toilets were a nice touch as well! We will DEFINITELY be staying here again in the future!

The property itself is beautiful and well maintained. We were disappointed in the service all the way around. There was no coffee in the rooms at all and since there is no room service we were told we had to go downstairs for it. We waited 45 minutes because they said they needed to make more and continued to serve the rest of the restaurant and other people coming through. They obviously forgot about us and didn't even offer an apology when we mentioned it. Housekeeping didn't come by even when we asked for them since our trash was full and we needed more towels. Also, when we were trying to load up our bags to get to our room, we were told WE would have to go to other floors to find a cart.

Chloe at The Front Desk Was Very Kind, Welcoming and Friendly…

Had k-cups but didn’t have a coffeemaker in our room. Stopped at the front desk to make them aware and they said they were changing out coffeemakers and we would have to stop down at breakfast to get coffee. They gave us pushback when we stopped and asked for coffee and it was a huge inconvenience as we were enjoying a relaxing anniversary staycation.

Property was great, staff was a little hard to find when needed tho.

The property itself was beautiful. The rooms were well maintained and spacious. Unfortunately they were not staffed appropriately for a property of that size and busy event weekend. We could never get anyone at the front desk to answer the phone when we had issues. There were no towels at the pool. We got locked out of our room soaking wet in swimsuits. Unfortunately the hotel restaurant had the same staffing issues. Waited an hour to be seated in the restaurant that was not busy, and then sat at the table for 30min without any service. Never received an apology from the restaurant manager.

Historic hotel is beautifully remodeled and decorated. Convenient to downtown restaurants. Thrilled to stay here!

Location!

We enjoyed our stay. Clean and comfortable. Quiet for the most part. Parking begin the hotel is limited and tight but free parking garage across the street and side street parking on weekends. Beautiful design. Great recommendations for dinner options. Walking distance to many attractions. Gave me a different, more positive and relaxing view on downtown Sioux City.

2nd time staying here. Beds were comfy. The hotel is really cool and so well decorated. It was quiet enough too. The parking lot out back is not big enough for all the cars, so the overflow parking is in a garage above the transit center with homeless people inside to stay warm. Other option is street parking but it’s a big street and it just felt unsafe. Also the shower in the room didn’t drain quickly. You had to ask for cleaning service, which I didn’t realize until it was too late. It’s a fine option, this hotel, and it really is beautifully done. It may be worth checking other close by hotels for comparison at the price of this hotel.

Everything is beautiful at the hotel. However the area does not feel safe. We walked to the hard rock casino and made sure we were back before dark Expedia offered a balcony room for $20 additional which we selected. There are zero balconies at this motel

The stay was wonderful. It was located only a block away from the Orpheum where the concert was held. We had a private balcony which was wonderful. Even though there was a lot of city noise, police sirens and trains, the room remained quiet.

Downtown Sioux City is not the most convenient for parking or dining.

Beautiful hotel. Great location. Lots of upgrades. Downtown area was clean and neat. Pool was perfect for my toddler and I.

Loved our stay here. The Crown rooftop is amazing and the Woodbury is a must eat. Location is perfect for all the activities around down town with everything walking distance away.

Convenient location to the Orpheum theater for the event we were attending. Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were clean and very comfortable.

The hotel itself was amazing. They did not service our room even when I asked on a request to refill coffee and fresh towels. It still didn’t get done. Our last day there the bartender at the bar decided to go home so we were unable to get drinks after we were told the bar was open.

The hotel was clean and beautiful! The only complaint would be the restaurant staff service. Our server was not knowledgeable about the menu and she gave poor service. The hostess at the restaurant was not very friendly. The housekeeper knocked on the door to clean while we were still sleeping. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful.

We traveled to Sioux City for a concert at the Orpheum Theater. Really beautiful place! We also had a really great meal at the restaurant. We plan on returning next month for the Bob Dylan concert. Great, friendly service!!!!

Stayed here while in town for a weekend. The room and bathroom were spacious with a great view of downtown Sioux City! The beds were comfy and well-needed after a long, busy weekend. I highly recommend the rooftop bar (open to the public and not just guests); service is great and the drinks are fantastic. Everything was great and would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful property, would certainly stay here again. Only downside is that I was there on business over a Sunday and Monday night, which were the nights they do not serve food at the restaurant or bars.

Pretty awful breakfast buffet for $15. No juice. Only watermelon for fruit after they brought some. They had to find jam for toast. I had to find where to get toast. Understaffed but they did hustle.

Excellent customer service. Comfortable modern room. Loved the pool sauna and whirlpool. Food I had was great. Rooftop bar was executed perfectly
