James On The Park

The lift was not working for most of our stay. We were not told before we arrived. The key fob to open garage did not work until we replaced the batteries. The code to enter the doors was changed, we were not told and got stuck outside late Sunday night. No answer on emergency phone contact. These were not trivial problems and we were very disatisfied with the access to the building.

This property is great for individuals looking for easy access to nightlife. It can get VERY loud so check to see if any events are happening during your stay like the Ice Cream Factory multi-weekend event. For our family, the convenience stores nearby were great in a pinch. The park was also nice. Pros: - graciously allowed us to check in early - dedicated parking spot in secure garage - Amanda was quick to assist when she could, even answering her phone on a Saturday night when the car park garage fob stopped working - the listing mentioned a pack n play (port a tot) and high chair but then their site wanted to upcharge for it. They brought them to us promptly and at no charge due to the confusion which was really kind. Cons: - cleanliness was severely lacking based on the amount of hair in the living room, particularly on the rug, and old rice on the kitchen counters - the AC leaked five days in a seven day period, soaking through towels in 8 hours, and by the time maintenance came, my husband had fixed it by clearing the drainage line - large security deposit was requested when we were actively traveling which was stressful to manage during our 32 hour trip then getting the keys from a secondary location wasn’t ideal given our exhaustion Overall, we would rent from Executive Escapes again and want to publicly thank Amanda for all her help.
