I really liked you had multiple things to do right at the resort. You could have food and cocktails 🍹 with out leaving the resort. Also staff and guess were just so happy and friendly

Lovely walk near river. Fun outside area with campfire and bar. Shopping is delightful. Spa has excellent reputation though no time to use it.

We liked the cost, the quiet and the organization, friendly staff. The amenities were limited; the bar closes early, there is no pool on-site, the smoking rules are restrictive (can't we smoke on balconies?) and we would like to have used the fire pit.

Property is very clean and maintained. Check in was friendly and efficient. Oasis Spa was wonderful and the Riverside Grill located off the main lobby was excellent. Our room was large, updated and clean. There’s a boutique in the lobby area and vending is ample. Local quick meals are up and down the main road as well as local grocery. The outdoor property was under construction at the time, but the river area is lovely.

Beautiful hotel and grounds. on site restaurant, spa, and boutique. They also have a trackman golf simulator.

Enjoyed the spa. Ate several meals at the grill. Food was very good.

We used pool and hot breakfast as a filter to book it when we arrived we were told that the pool was not on site but at their sister property down the road. The "hot breakfast" included microwave pancake and crescent sandwiches which we had to microwave ourselves, instant oatmeal packets were also "hot" items. No fresh fruit or baked goods only prepackaged cheap muffins and snack bars. it can be done better and easy. No staff on site from 9pm to 6am, if anything is needed you called a number and waited for 45 min for someone to help you. Only had 1 partial roll of TP for 4 people, we ran out in the middle of the night when my son had to go.

The bed was so broken down that before we got in it you could see two distinct dips. It was a 3”-4” drop from the sides of the bed. My back was in so much pain the next day that I had to be helped out of it. There was water damage to the trim in the room that severely needed fixed. The gym that was advertised was out in a open foyer and had equipment that wouldn’t turn on. Having stayed at many hotels throughout South America, Canada, and the US, I was disappointed in this resort. The surroundings were beautiful but the lack of an adequate mattress, functioning gym, and upkeep was disappointing to say the least.

Nice place to stay and very quiet and clean. Had a a little wear, like room could use a coat of paint, but otherwise everything was nice.

No reception from 8pm to 8am very unsafe. Hallways smelled like urine, room furniture was all scuffed up to bare wood poor maintenance, sink did not drain, shower never got hot just warm. Toilet paper and Kleenex was like using sand paper. Will never stay again. Breakfast was included in the room rate but it was a joke, it was all wrapped like someone took out of a box.

Room was clean. The furniture/nightstand was worn out. The bed was moderate. The breakfast items were accurate. We stayed in a 2 queen bed room and it feels small. The frig was ok.

Everything at this place was very nice. Grounds and building are kept in excellent shape. Our only complaint were the super soft mattress’s. Husband and I both woke up with a terrible backache.

Beautiful place. But the AC was poor on a hot night.

Unfortunately we were given a handicapped room where the bathroom was adapted. We would not have chosen that or a first floor room with a window exposed to the parking lot. Also the plumbing from above bathrooms was very noisy.

Lovely place. Beautiful family size rooms with lovely kitchen and balcony. Restaurant is pretty good albeit expensive. As for the room, we were on the third floor and the water pressure is very weak. Also it takes quite a long time for hot water to travel up to the faucets. Would be great if besides a trash can in the kitchen they also had a can for recyclables. Also a pad of paper was no where to be found. Previous guests started tearing pages out of the guest log book.

The room was comfortable. The only thing id recommend is a larger tv.

It was a great place, the only negative was the air ventilation runs at a high speed & is noisy in the rooms. Needed my earplugs.

I’m not much of a hotelier, so maybe my expectations are high, these are a couple things that if I ran a hotel like this I would probably have. Microwave in room, kinda annoying having outside our room where I could hear the beeping. Jacuzzi in room, nice but it needed more ambiance. Shower was small. I need room. I thought I would be nice to have a small breakfast taken up to the room so we didn’t have to come down out of our comfortable setting. I also think a small vacuum should be in every room so we can vacuum the salt that came in with us from outside. Better tv options, they had cable and it was so slow. Overall it was nice but I want to be able to be relaxed and feel comfortable knowing some of these things are happening.

The staff is always friendly and accommodating. The rooms are lovely, spacious, beds are comfortable and the room was very clean. We had a water view from our room and it was so relaxing to see the gentle stream when looking out the windows. The ladies at the spa were very helpful when I had questions regarding products I wanted to purchase. The boutique is a fun shopping experience, it has lovely clothes for sale and unique gifts for yourself birthdays, holidays or for you girlfriends. We were fortunate to be there while they were having their sale on for seasonal clothing and home decor. I signed up for their rewards program, each purchase of gifts from the boutique, resort stay or food purchase from the restaurant accumulates points and once you acquire the 1000 points you can use you points towards spa pampering, purchases at the boutique or even a tasty bite at the restaurant. This was our 3rd time staying at Riverwalk Resort, it wont be our last, such a nice little get away.

Checked in at 11pm and the building was locked. Had to call someone to come open the door. It wasn’t a big deal but it was just weird and awkward. Facility advertises itself as a luxury spa. It is a glorified office building with 3-star suites and 2 star amenities. Bed was comfortable. Bedding was not. Tub was fine but the water smelled like mold. Carpet around tub was clean. But it was bare bones in the room. Every detail was as cheap as possible. Just an all-around weird place. Felt completely overcharged for the quality.

Our room was very clean and beds comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Service at the restaurant was excellent. Parking convenient. The grounds and landscaping were beautiful!

Everyone was nice and helpful. I felt very comfortable and safe. Will definitely book again.

I did not stay here for vacation. I was traveling to rescue a friend with a broken motorcycle and Expedia recommended this place. Ugh. Honestly, I was unimpressed. Arrived around 8:30 pm and had to call to have somebody from housekeeping come open the office and check me in. She was not trained on how to do this procedure and it was a circus. Everything (restaurant and bar) were already closed. All there was to eat was garbage fast food nearby. Ended up not eating for the day. The room was truly “meh”. The shower is minuscule. The furniture in the room was old and badly beaten and worn. It looked like it had come from a garage sale. The old jacuzzi tub in the room took literally forever to fill with water which was barely warm. The room was hot (74) and the air conditioning controls did nothing. You cannot open a window either so it was so hot, I literally slept on top of the bedsheets sweating the whole night. There was absolutely no reason to call staff about this because I already knew there was nothing they could do at nearly 9-10 pm. They barely could get me checked in smoothly, let alone have maintenance on property at that time. So it was a very lousy and uncomfortable evening. I got up very early and left to continue my trip. For the price I paid, I was throughly dissatisfied. Maybe it is different for those who come here for a getaway or whatever. I don’t know, however I wouldn’t stay here again at all.

The resort was beautifully landscaped and right on the Riverwalk, a walking/biking path a long the river. Rooms were lovely and quiet.

Very nice place to stay in a small town atmosphere.

We loved this property and will be back. It is definitely worth the drive off the interstate. The room was very clean, well appointed, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The food at the restaurant was absolutely delicious. The gardens surrounding the property were beautiful. The cost of the room was an outstanding value when pricing it against the properties along the interstate. We were very happy with our decision to stay there.

Riverwalk Hotel is beautiful with its exquisite landscaping , flowers and location on the Cedar River. Such a relaxing place to stay .

The room was very nice and clean. The restaurant staff was gracious and the food was excellent. The walk along the creek is well maintained and it is very pretty. I also had a massage at the Oasis Spa and it was most enjoyable

It was very nice, and my room was cozy and quiet. My only dislike was that the included breakfast doesn't start until 7:30am and both mornings I was there, I needed to leave before 7am.

I didn't love the continental breakfast options and it started kind of late (8 am). I prefer to get coffee first thing and in-room coffee pots don't make good coffee.

I needed to disconnect and relax in a quiet place. The Riverwalk in Gladwin, MI offered all of the above. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to book any massages while I stayed there during the weekday and will just have to do so on my next trip. The In- house dining experience was great with ample variety of options, however I noticed some inconsistency on the to go charges. For example I wasn't charged for the 10% to go fee on the first couple times I ordered food but on the last day, I saw a 10% to go fee on my bill and I didn't see it written anywhere on the website nor print out menu. I'm not at all complaining about the to go fee, however it would be nice to know and to have consistency. Overall, it was a great stay and experience and will consider of going back. Thanks!

We loved this little gem. It was perfect for our quick anniversary get away. We enjoyed the onsite restaurant, good food and desserts, and took advantage of the spa. We also enjoyed the river walk after dinner. We would go back for a similar anniversary trip.
