Large suite but no soap. Had to go to front desk and ask for it but had run out of bar soap so we're issued body wash instead. Just two towels. Swimming pool was covered though it was July and hot. Front desk personnel were very polite and helpful though.

At one point thisbplace probably was very nice. However the full kitchens did not come fully equipped with cooking essentials to make a home meal. There was no pots/pans/plates/etc. Beds were comfy. Area was quiet. The 2 bedroom loft option was cute. It had the king bedroom downstairs with its own full bathroom. The upstairs 2nd bedroom/loft had 2 queen beds and full bathroom. The livingroom had a pull out full size sofa bed. So there was definitely plenty of space for us. The bathroom upstairs did not work the entire time. Staff tried to fix the 1st night but then gave up and we were not offered alternative room or discount for inconvenience. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was hot. There was waffle and scrambled eggs and sausage one the mornings. Along with other continental items. Pool was under construction but no big deal for us as we had plans. I cant say I would return or not because we managed our stay and if I was in a bind I might return. But doubt it!

We liked our suite. It was perfect for our family. The beds are comfortable and everything looked clean. We didn't use the kitchen but noticed it was missing a water kettle. We got bottle water so it was fine. It also did not have shampoo and conditioner. Only 1 small bottle of body wash... i don't know it was just missing or not provided at all but usually hotels have those items. Breakfast was good and parking was included. One last thing, we booked 3 weeks ago to reserve this type of room but I checked the day prior and the price went down. So that was a bummer since we didn't get price adjustment. I'm happy with this hotel overall.

This property is perfect when using the Metro and having a Walmart in walking distance was great. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was typical. The property is in need of some small repairs. The pool is not working. It was nice having the loft area as we had our grandkids with us. I would not stay there again unless I needed that extra room.

General stains throughout room, on almost all of the furniture. Shower floor did not feel safe to stand on. General small damages around the room. Loose, misplaced outlets, peeling wallpaper, bathroom door would not close because of damage. No linens for pullout couch, or enough towels, or pillows for five guests. Pool was also down for the weekend, with no listed repair timeframe, or reason for closure. Additionally, there was a surprise $400!!! Refundable room deposit fee. They were able to bring it down to $200, only after I asked them.

My stay didn’t start off well. I was first given keys to a room that smelled so much of cigarettes that I felt like I was in a bowling alley in the 80s. Went back to the front desk and got a new room that smelled like air freshener. There was blood on one of the duvets, dust on the floorboards, and no hand soap at any of the sinks. The next day the keys didn’t work, and I had to wait 20 minutes for the desk guy to come back from a break. We fell asleep that night to an hours long argument coming from a neighboring room. My overall opinion of this place is that it is in disrepair. I only saw three different staff over my 4 night stay. There was a pool that was covered up. There were bug traps hanging from all the eaves, full of bugs. The outside needed sweeping. For my family, it was just a crash pad, but I wouldn’t go back. I really think management needs to hire more people, especially cleaning staff.

The mirrors had fingerprints all over it. There was a rat under the fridge. There was blood or poop stains on the floor and as far as the staff goes, the first guy seen when I checked in was a bit odd when I asked for towels and sheets, he didn’t want to give me any. The second guy I spoke to at the front desk was pretty cool. They’re charging way too high for the value of the place. It shows they have a pool, but the pool is covered. You couldn’t get in the door of the room it was broken half the time . AC in the room didn’t really work. The floors were very dirty. I had to wear my shoes the whole time.

Man! By far the best bang for the buck in my last 4 or 5 hotel visits. Stove fridge and dishwasher. Queen bed w television rotating to the office/den and a fireplace. Not a bad choice for extended stays. Breakfast was basic. Gym needs work but all around, I loved my time in Tysons Corner, VA

I am picky and like clean. I had to use my own sheets and blanket and pillow cases. Floor wasn't clean. My socks turned dark gray. Other than that the space was nice and wide. No noise. Staff at the check out was kind and welcoming. Staff at the check in wasn't very helpful. I will come back next time and be more prepared.

Carpets not clean and were heavily stained in the upstairs loft and stairs, there were stains on couch. Floors were not cleaned. There was a burned out phone port that still had smoke damage to it. This property with its location could be great but isn’t taken care of.

The photos of the room were quite deceptive. They had to come clean the room again after we arrived and checked in. There was hair on the floors, it had not been vacuumed but they came and cleaned again. The kitchen was lacking pots, pans and it did not look all that clean either. The pull out bed was stained so we could not use it. As I said the photos of the room were quite deceptive and we had no other option but to stay after a 8 hour drive. I know I would not stay here again if the customer service was amazing if you all could make the accommodations match that it would be a great place to stay. #disappointedcustomer

Decent place for the Price. Did however find a live roach in the fridge. Few things were dusty, remotes for TVs didn’t work properly. The floor noise is almost unbearable. The key card lock definitely needs replacing, works when it wants to.

My room was dirty. The kitchen did not have paper towels or dishwashing soap. The breakfast time was 6:30 AM however. There were many items that were still not available by 6:50. Just an overall dirty rundown hotel suites. If I wanted to check in early it was going to cost me an sdditional amount and they would not hold my luggage until I checked in.

Checked in and went to the room. It was a loft. As soon as we walked in, there was an odor. The floor was filthy, sticky and crumbs on it. The chair had food on it and the bathrooms had hair everywhere. I complained to front desk and was told to call Mon. morning. Called all day and the phone just rings. Beds are springy and mattresses are dirty.

We stayed in the loft. We liked the spacious layout and the beds and pillows were comfortable. However everything else was kind of dirty, dingy and old. The whole space needs to be updated. A lot of things were broken. Upstairs toilet would not flush. And upstairs shower had no hot water. Downstairs shower had a crazy amount of water pressure, which was one of the few good things. The Ceiling fan almost flew off the ceiling. We also saw a roach and ants on the floor. The room just had a creepy vibe. Also didn’t like all the people smoking weed outside. Won’t be staying here again.

Kitchen did not have utensils, hardly any flatware, no paper towels, extra toilet paper. Furniture is old and very used. First room assigned had awful odor, second room, the door was difficult to open with key card.

Bath tub seal did not work so you couldn’t take a bath. Very strict about leaving time with certain times costing extra hour by hour. Noisy at night. Bed was uncomfortable and pillows were essentially flat. We won’t be back.

I liked that it was more like a town home than a hotel. The location is very convenient. It’s close to the Metro for easy access to tourist attractions. We used the free parking and walked to dinner our first night. While there, we picked up some groceries from the Walmart next door. The kitchen in our unit could have used a few more utensils but overall, this was a great value for the price.

I booked through Expedia, got a confirmation, then showed up to the hotel and they said there was both no reservation for me, and there were no available rooms to stay at. I had to find a new hotel. I called another Expedia showed as available for last night, and they too had no rooms available. I want a refund as your service is listing hotels with no available accommodations as available. I eventually called a new hotel directly and got a room.

Travelers be warned, no room service unless you stay for four nights. My wife spilled coffee on the floor and had no other way to clean it up. Called room service, not allowed. So I used a towel to clean up the coffee and at the end of my two nights day, they charged me $50 for the towel. A towel that might cost around a couple of dollars. Receptionist at front desk was extremely rude, at times yelling at me with extremely loud voice. He tried to tell me that even though the towel is couple of dollars but the shipping and everything cost $50. That's insane . I couldn't do anything because they have my CC . I should have thrown the towel in the dumpster instead of leaving it there. I would love to post a picture of the towel. Will do at a later time.

There was a miscommunication between hotels.com and the hotel but it was sorted out easily when the hotels.com help agent spoke to the front desk personnel. The desk person was apologetic and gor us right in! Overall the stay was nice, not overpriced, close to shops and the metro. I will definitely stay here again!

Hotel was convenient in location for a show at Wolf Trap. The employees were very kind. Room was clean and comfortable. More trash cans and an extra blanket and pillow would be my only suggestions.

This looks like a former Residence Inn and its a block away from a walmart and restaurants and minutes from the heart of the Tyson center area. The hotel is a little in need of maintenance....otherwise it was clean, comfortable, safe, convenient and i would stay here again.

We love the loft room! Being able to walk to WalMart next door is convenient - and a very welcome after spending a lot of time in the car. Also Dunkin' coffee, sammiches, etc.

Overall, I would stay here again. Close to Dulles Airport, public transportation and dinner/shopping options. The unit itself was clean but a little musty smelling. The sidewalks and stairways were littered with trash. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

I liked that it was more like a town home than a hotel. The location is very convenient. It’s close to the Metro for easy access to tourist attractions. We used the free parking and walked to dinner our first night. While there, we picked up some groceries from the Walmart next door. The kitchen in our unit could have used a few more utensils but overall, this was a great value for the price.

This property is perfect when using the Metro and having a Walmart in walking distance was great. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was typical. The property is in need of some small repairs. The pool is not working. It was nice having the loft area as we had our grandkids with us. I would not stay there again unless I needed that extra room.

Check in was simple and staff was pleasant. Room was way smaller than I expected or than displayed in the pics. The deceptive pictures did make the stay a bit uncomfortable. We were disappointed with the breakfast served. Burnt, tasteless cubed eggs.. no sausage or bacon or ham.. No coffee cups for the coffee and the mini tiny little cups for the OJ was so small I had to make multiple trips.

This was the former Hawthorne suites belonging to the Wyndham chain. According to the receptionist this has a new owner, not simply the old owner with a new name and no affiliation. Essentially same as the old Hawthorne but the room seemed cleaner. No more iron, ironing board and hairdryer (we didn't see those). Breakfast is still simple but much better than the last time I stayed there when. It was still Hawthorne. That time they only had coffee and waffle maker. That's it. New management seems better so I'll continue to give it a try. It's dated but still very functional and this a good value.

My room was dirty. The kitchen did not have paper towels or dishwashing soap. The breakfast time was 6:30 AM however. There were many items that were still not available by 6:50. Just an overall dirty rundown hotel suites. If I wanted to check in early it was going to cost me an sdditional amount and they would not hold my luggage until I checked in.

We had a great stay at this facility! It was nice having so much room to spread out. It was close to the Metro, and there were places to shop at near by. The pool wasn't available(not sure why).Need to have more utensils, plates, pot and pans for cooking!
