Felt safe with parking area well lit and off the road. Room was more than adequate size and reasonable internet speeds. If you want to eat at the adjoining pizza place make a booking especially for a weekend

Have just stayed here for the 3rd or 4th time, and it was excellent as always. Very clean throughout, spacious rooms, excellent bathroom and shower, lovely staff at reception, great location, fantastic value for money. Secure bike storage is an added bonus. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Aviemore. Very highly recommended.

This is a nice small motel. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful. The room I had was large, modern and clean, comfortable bed. There's a fridge in the room, and a TV. There are also laundry facilities that you can use for a charge. Easy walk to the rail station, several restaurants/pubs, and a Tesco.

Have just stayed here for the 3rd or 4th time, and it was excellent as always. Very clean throughout, spacious rooms, excellent bathroom and shower, lovely staff at reception, great location, fantastic value for money. Secure bike storage is an added bonus. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Aviemore. Very highly recommended.

Had a lovley stay, room was very clean and cosy, staff friendly, about a 15 minute walk to shops, bus stops and train station, close by was chip shop, and Italian restaurant at the entrance I would go back to Aviemore and stay there at the High Range Regards

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at High Range. The apartment was impeccably clean and equipped with everything necessary for our family of two adults and two children (aged 6 and 3). The bedroom offered ample space, while the lounge area was both spacious and cozy, featuring a comfortable sofa bed. The kitchen was well-appointed and spotless. As frequent visitors to Aviemore, this was our first time at High Range, and we'll certainly consider returning in the future. Thank you for providing us with a delightful stay.

We really liked this hotel. The room was spacious and even had a couch. There was a hot water kettle and instant coffee provided (just two packets though). There was a fridge, a really nice bathroom set up and a comfortable bed. The ceilings were high and everything was immaculately clean. It was very convenient to Aviemore and Rothiemurchus, would definitely recommend!

The room was very clean and plenty of space. Location was great close to main junctions but away from centre of village. Only minir gripe was the noise from the water system which could be heard every time anotger room used toilet or shower.

The owner was very unwelcoming. Breakfast times were 7:00, 7:30, 8:00 or 8:30. A bit too early when you’re on vacation. A step up or down into bathroom at night is worrisome if you don’t remember in the dark of night.

Although the High Range Hotel was just a one night stopover for us, we were very impressed and pleased with our choice. The check-in was quick and efficient, the room was immaculately clean and very well-equipped, and the whole complex was nicely presented with tidy, well-kept grounds and parking etc. Great value too! I'm not sure if the adjacent pizza restaurant is part of the High Range but we had 2 great take-away pizzas, and spent a short time having a beer there while we waited - great ambience and vibe.

The hotel is on the outer edge of town so it was nice and quiet. That said, about 1 mile gets you to the other side of town so not an issue. I was facing the main road with my windows open and it was not an issue. Very friendly check-in and out and the cleaning staff were very nice. There is an Italian restaurant next door and a fish n chip shop just down the road. Didn't go to either as I was tired but just in case. The gentleman at check-in said the fish n chip shop was good. Clean room, comfortable bed, and an actual shower!
