On the go breakfast - pretty much means go someplace else! The most pathetic hotel breakfast I've ever encountered. Room had peeling paint on the walls in the bathroom. Hallway carpet was soaking wet about midway on the first floor. The security locks to the back door of the building was non existing. It was drilled out.

We stayed here one night and it wasn’t good at all. Right away we noticed the sign from the hotel was off the building so we weren’t for sure it was the right place. There was a piece of paper on the front door stating they were under construction, but it was obviously just an excuse for the poor condition of everything. Coffee table in the room was broken on one side. The jacuzzi tub had dirt and human hair on the inside of it and the front panel of it was broken off. The rear entrance lock was broken so people could come and go as they please. We went out to breakfast because the hotel breakfast consisted of a couple of stale cereal choices and frozen waffles that had seen better days. Not an enjoyable stay.

This place should be shut down for safety hazards. Holes in doors, broken furniture in rooms, stains in carpets. Cleaning was obviously lacking. The pool was GREEN. The breakfast was not hot or edible. Do not stay here.

The TV in our room didn’t work and couldn’t be fixed. There were no towels for the pool which a staff member said they would provide us with, but never did. The pool was freezing cold. Breakfast was minimal… cold cereal, instant oatmeal, toast or frozen waffles. Staff at the desk couldn’t verify the signs around town regarding theBoil Water Order.

If you're looking for luxury, this isn't it. If you're looking for a cheap place to crash while you explore the surrounding areas, this hits the mark. It was clean, staff were friendly, the pool was small but decent. Remember to ask for a mini fridge at check-in if needed. Lots of things to do in the area and the restaurants were also cheap and delicious.

Room dusty sheets yellow tinged had not been vacuumed old food on the floor mirrors had finger prints everywhere. 4 adults to the room and didn't want to give us 4 towels. Pool not tested for weeks unable to swim and elevator out of test date expired certification as of last april and could smell hydraulic fluid in elevator.

A week ago I stayed in one of their rooms that had not been cleaned. The towels were dirty the jacuzzi tub was full of dirt in the bottom there were dog prints on the blankets on the bed nothing had been wiped off nothing swept. I had to clean the room myself when I told the girl at the front desk she said oh the housekeeper that quit must not have cleaned it and not once offered me a clean room or to have it cleaned.

The girl at the front desk was very polite and sweet. However, the first room we went to had a broken bed and the room wreaked of cigarette smoke. She gave us another room and it also wreaked of smoke. The toilet had poop streaks in the bowl and the toilet paper roll was used when it should have been replaced with a new roll. The tub had a dirty film so no bath! The beds were bad as well. Horrible nights sleep. Overall the worst hotel I’ve been in and a waste of money.

We were in town for a Funeral. Checking in was easy and finding our room was simple. Staff was pleasant. However, after returning for the night moving a pillow case and mouse poop shakes out. Staff moved us to another room but at 930pm after a long day having to repack And relocate was not pleasant! We will not be staying here again anytime soon.

The staff was great but the bathroom was dirty the towels stained, toilet had toilet paper in it from previous renters and hairs on shower. The bed was terribly stiff woke up aching. The atmosphere was very quiet. The decor was ok. I would rate it higher if it had been cleaned.

Ive always loved this place for when im vsiisting from florida but this time ... was terrible. Bathroom was not clean at all. They do the bare minimal. Use a uv light. U will be running to walmart for gloves and cleaning supplies

This hotel 7 is unprofessional. Our door didnt lock, wife checked the beds for bugs and found a live spider and HUGE pee stains on the mattresses. The pool was broken so the water was ice cold, didnt even stay the night but the manager refused a refund because the beds were messed up where my wife checked them and found the piss stains. Lady at the front desk promised i would get a refund so i left at first on good terms but when i never got it an called back she was extremely rude and had every excuse to not refund me. Never seen a hotel so money hungry but whatever, 94 dollar lesson learned i guess. Like the rest of Anna itll be out of business soon anyway. Save your money and drive the extra 20 mins to Carbondale you wont regret it!

I stayed one night while traveling through the area. The good, it was cheap and easy check-in and the staff were great! The not so good; it\'s an older building that definitely needs some updates. The walls are pretty thin too and somebody was "having fun" around 10-11pm and you could hear everything, lol. Overall, good if you just need a bed for the night, but don\'t expect a 5-start hotel experience.

This property was rather run down with the amenities, but I found the core services were very good. The bed and linens were done just right and clean. Bathroom was totally clean. The property has a lot of badly run down furniture. A/C worked perfectly, and the basic fridge was all good too. I enjoyed that it was a more low tech / low traffic & motel style, I found this more quiet in the mornings and evenings. There was plenty of comfortable lobby space also, and it was very comfortable given it was a heat wave. It is far away from the connecting highways, but there is a Walmart to shop nearby.

We had numerous problems. First, not every room has a refrigerator, so we had to request a room with a fridge. They couldn't tell us which rooms had fridges, so the clerk had to leave and check the rooms while we waited for 15-20 min. Our room supposedly had the fridge. When we looked at the room the lid on the toilet was off and the toilet wasn't' working. I had to go back downstairs to request a different room. The clerk didn't believe me and had to check. Of course, I was correct. Then we had to go through the whole process of finding another room with a refrigerator. The room was ok, but not as clean as it could have been. The pass key did not work, and we had to take care of that problem. The breakfast was a joke. There were a couple of stale muffins and a boiled pot of coffee. Not good. Then a strong storm interfered with whet we had planned to do in the area. We decided to check out a day early due to that storm They would not refund our money. I suspect this hotel will be out of business in a year.

There was long black hairs in the tub drain and on the floor by tub, furniture was dusty, Not enough towels provided, nightstand drawer pull was unscrewed & hanging. No milk or creamer provided for coffee and very slim offerings for breakfast. Luckily we brought our coffee pot and snacks, but had to buy creamer. No refrigerator and we had items needing refrigeration. We were put in a handicap room not knowing that you have to ASK specifically for a refrigerator. No bedspread on our bed. Room was just bare and not clean. Lady said she just cleaned our room. We couldn't watch TV bc we couldn't find remote. Found out the previous cleaners washed remote in bedding. Got another remote from front desk, but the batteries were so low we kept getting message about low batteries. Nothing was available to watch except football. If they have Direct TV, there should be a few programs to watch, but we had nothing to watch.

Front desk was very nice and helpful. The building was a little rough and needed some TLC. Touch up here and there… but over all was a good experience. We just needed a place to sleep before hitting the road again.

We have a service dog for a child with autism. At 10 pm the staff called requesting documents or we would be charged pet rates. They were told the laws according to the ADA guidelines. https://www.ada.gov/law-and-regs/ They then deactivated the key card to our room. When I went to the check in desk the next morning to pay "pet charges" I was told by the manager we would be charged the next time if we didn't have paperwork for him. As an all around review; the rooms are not properly clean, tub has ground in dirt, pool is unheated, ladder in deep end is broken, pool dirty looking, no coffee in the room, breakfast is cereal, packaged oatmeal, milk and OJ. If you are sleeping it's fine if you want what the add says you get move on to Carbondale. It's only 25 minutes away. And yes, I am filing a complaint with the ADA. I did take photos so they can't charge us with property damage.

We did not appreciate the fact that the owner laughed at us when we asked if they offered a military discount. My husband is a veteran and it was very insulting! The room smelt like mildew and the sheets had burn holes in them even though it said it was a non smoking facility. Outside of this the stay was satisfactory.

This hotel 7 is unprofessional. Our door didnt lock, wife checked the beds for bugs and found a live spider and HUGE pee stains on the mattresses. The pool was broken so the water was ice cold, didnt even stay the night but the manager refused a refund because the beds were messed up where my wife checked them and found the piss stains. Lady at the front desk promised i would get a refund so i left at first on good terms but when i never got it an called back she was extremely rude and had every excuse to not refund me. Never seen a hotel so money hungry but whatever, 94 dollar lesson learned i guess. Like the rest of Anna itll be out of business soon anyway. Save your money and drive the extra 20 mins to Carbondale you wont regret it!

This property was rather run down with the amenities, but I found the core services were very good. The bed and linens were done just right and clean. Bathroom was totally clean. The property has a lot of badly run down furniture. A/C worked perfectly, and the basic fridge was all good too. I enjoyed that it was a more low tech / low traffic & motel style, I found this more quiet in the mornings and evenings. There was plenty of comfortable lobby space also, and it was very comfortable given it was a heat wave. It is far away from the connecting highways, but there is a Walmart to shop nearby.

The rooms are not cleaned every day . You only have 2 towels and have to use them during the whole stay . The continental breakfast is terrible this morning at 7:30 no coffee was made had to make it ourselves.

On the go breakfast - pretty much means go someplace else! The most pathetic hotel breakfast I've ever encountered. Room had peeling paint on the walls in the bathroom. Hallway carpet was soaking wet about midway on the first floor. The security locks to the back door of the building was non existing. It was drilled out.

We had numerous problems. First, not every room has a refrigerator, so we had to request a room with a fridge. They couldn't tell us which rooms had fridges, so the clerk had to leave and check the rooms while we waited for 15-20 min. Our room supposedly had the fridge. When we looked at the room the lid on the toilet was off and the toilet wasn't' working. I had to go back downstairs to request a different room. The clerk didn't believe me and had to check. Of course, I was correct. Then we had to go through the whole process of finding another room with a refrigerator. The room was ok, but not as clean as it could have been. The pass key did not work, and we had to take care of that problem. The breakfast was a joke. There were a couple of stale muffins and a boiled pot of coffee. Not good. Then a strong storm interfered with whet we had planned to do in the area. We decided to check out a day early due to that storm They would not refund our money. I suspect this hotel will be out of business in a year.

There was long black hairs in the tub drain and on the floor by tub, furniture was dusty, Not enough towels provided, nightstand drawer pull was unscrewed & hanging. No milk or creamer provided for coffee and very slim offerings for breakfast. Luckily we brought our coffee pot and snacks, but had to buy creamer. No refrigerator and we had items needing refrigeration. We were put in a handicap room not knowing that you have to ASK specifically for a refrigerator. No bedspread on our bed. Room was just bare and not clean. Lady said she just cleaned our room. We couldn't watch TV bc we couldn't find remote. Found out the previous cleaners washed remote in bedding. Got another remote from front desk, but the batteries were so low we kept getting message about low batteries. Nothing was available to watch except football. If they have Direct TV, there should be a few programs to watch, but we had nothing to watch.

It was the absolute worst place I’ve stayed and I will be avoiding all hotel 7s in the future. Do yourself a favor and go an extra 20 minutes or stop off early. Avoid this hotel!!!!

no refrigerators in both rooms we had. You have to ask front desk for soap and shampoo. There were gouge marks in walls different places. Downspouts were off and pouring rain by parking spot. Wall lamp was flickering on and off, till I tightened the lamp 1 1/2 turns in.

Room very nice and clean but amenities were disappointing. Breakfast advertised was terrible, elevator broke, and pool looked dirty. Would not recommend at all if you want more than just a clean room.
