This location was PERFECT for our bike riding group - we made it our home base for a week of riding several islands. Easy 4-5 miles to the ferry. Safe parking for our vehicles and bikes when not in use. Good food and great service at the restaurant. Front desk assistance was spectacular, and they have a fun gift shop. Rooms were comfortable and the flowers were in bloom and everywhere! We'll be back for sure!

Wonderful location with nice views from rooms and free parking at Anacortes terminal with shuttle from/to Lopez terminal to resort. Kitchens consist of mini fridge, microwave, sink and a few completely bare cupboards. Bring everything you may need. Nice enclosed pool but no hot tub. Restaurant good but pricy. Great live music and dancing on weekends. Overall a very nice resort but a bit plain for the price.

This is a very nice property located 5 min by car from the ferry terminal. It is on the waterfront. The rooms were clean although a bit dated but comfortable. Because the island is small, it's a great central location. Only concern we had was the noise as we were on the 1st floor of a 2 level building. The people above us were noisy walking and moving furniture around so sound proofing was not great. There is an outdoor pool which was not opened yet and a hot tub. Friends camped behind us on the same resort so nice to have a choice of different options to stay. The restaurant has good food is reasonably priced. The bar was fun with karaoke one night and a band playing with dancing on another night. The view is gorgeous from your deck which faces the water.

This resort was a great place to stay...for many reasons. The room was updated, very comfortable and clean. The on-site restaurant was delicious for lunch and dinner. The view is spectacular. And there's a sheltered pool/hot tub. Almost best of all were the friendly, helpful staff. They were so kind to us, and helped ensure we got a spot on the outbound ferry. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

It was great! We were so disappointed that the pool and hot tub were out of Commission. The weather was great and a pool would have been so nice! Room was clean however there were cigarette butts in the planter on the deck and cobwebs on the chairs in the room. Great place otherwise!

The rooms came equipped with a refrigerator, silverware and wine glasses. That was a great added feature. Our room had a funky smell (maybe musty?). Generally most guests respected the quiet hours but there were some who turned the TV on loudly at 7 am or decided to have loud conversations on their balcony at 4 am.

We found someone else’s hair in our shower/tub the minute we walked in. The bed’s box spring was very stained (why not cover it?). Art was missing from walls, but the hooks were still there. The bedside clock didn’t work. The bed was comfortable enough, but we were in bed when a groundskeeper came on our balcony to water potted flowers and looked in at us IN BED. Our drapes were open for the view. We won’t be going back. Haven’t had this bad of a stay in a long time.

When we arrived at the room the toilet was not flushed which made me think it had not been cleaned. That was annoying. Everything else was very clean. It’s my only complaint really. The pool and hot tub were great. Many options for family games (we didn’t use though). The location is perfect. Restaurant was great. Massage has to be scheduled in advance because the person is called from offsite to come to the resort - that was not transparent. I think overall it was nice but the next time we go to Lopez Island we’ll stay elsewhere as the rate here is very high for what you get.

This was a good room that we stayed in while our friends stayed on their boat overnight in the marina. It was convientent to meet back up with them in the morning. Restaurant was close and food good. Lovely place, very laid back with great service. The restaurant exceeded our expectations considering the island is, well, an island with limited access to the mainland. The only possible deficiency is the rooms need updated. Very few electrical outlets so extension cords are a must. The sliding glass door was expansive, with beautiful views of the marina, but very difficult to open and close. Also, very little if no sound insulation. Having said that I would definitely stay here again! Love that travelers have options from tent camping to full-blown suites. Although not the responsibility of this resort, I would love to see a sign near the ferry dock pointing travelers to the marina, or at least Lopez Village. We exited the dock at night with no cell connectivity and just followed traffic. Ended up on Sperry Road at the end of the public road, all the way on the other end of the island. Similarly, beware most parks and beaches are NOT marked well if at all. So get a physical map and use it, available for free at Lopez Village and at the marina.

Lopez Island is incredible. The Lopez Islander resort staff is great and the location ideal for getting around. But the rooms are VERY dated, which is what I expected. My room was clean but it was a bit dark, dreary and sad given the decor and furniture. But it had what I needed and the price was inexpensive. I would stay here again if I had to but would prefer camping given how lovely the island is.

We got stuck on orcas island overnight during one of our days we stayed, and the lady at the front desk gave us a refund for one of the nights. The food in the dining area was very delicious and the people of lopez island were very friendly. Thank you so much for your hospitality.

Good location, spacious room. Off-season was quiet, but they seemed understaffed. Was hoping the restaurant would be open by 11a, but nobody showed up until 11:30. I guess that's just how they roll on the chill island.

This location was PERFECT for our bike riding group - we made it our home base for a week of riding several islands. Easy 4-5 miles to the ferry. Safe parking for our vehicles and bikes when not in use. Good food and great service at the restaurant. Front desk assistance was spectacular, and they have a fun gift shop. Rooms were comfortable and the flowers were in bloom and everywhere! We'll be back for sure!

This is a very nice property located 5 min by car from the ferry terminal. It is on the waterfront. The rooms were clean although a bit dated but comfortable. Because the island is small, it's a great central location. Only concern we had was the noise as we were on the 1st floor of a 2 level building. The people above us were noisy walking and moving furniture around so sound proofing was not great. There is an outdoor pool which was not opened yet and a hot tub. Friends camped behind us on the same resort so nice to have a choice of different options to stay. The restaurant has good food is reasonably priced. The bar was fun with karaoke one night and a band playing with dancing on another night. The view is gorgeous from your deck which faces the water.

There are very limited options for staying on Lopez Island. The Islander Resort is the primary one. It is fine - not great but pretty good. The facility and room could use a little care and updating. The restaurant was okay - lunch was much better than breakfast. All in all, a pleasant place that could be better.

Good location, spacious room. Off-season was quiet, but they seemed understaffed. Was hoping the restaurant would be open by 11a, but nobody showed up until 11:30. I guess that's just how they roll on the chill island.

This was a good room that we stayed in while our friends stayed on their boat overnight in the marina. It was convientent to meet back up with them in the morning. Restaurant was close and food good. Room is clean, appeared to have been redone. Had a fridge and Krueig coffer maker. Good bed and pillows. It is not fancy but clean, spacious, comfortable and fresh. Had everthing we needed. I would stay again.

4pm check in is a bit late in the day. Room was clean spacious and the view is great. TV channel options not great... Price of the room is high but not many options on Lopex Island. The first morning they had a water pipe break so no water for shower or anything till later in the morning. When i checked out I mentioned the inconvenience of having no water. They did not offer any discount or compensation.

Always a fun time at the Islander! Rooms are clean, with a menu of service options. We appreciated being able to request the specific items we needed each day (towels, coffee, etc) and they would be left at our door. Restaurant has lovely outdoor seating and decent food. I was so happy with our stay at the Islander! It was conveniently located, beautiful view, shuttle to the ferry and had fantastic Saturdays morning yoga! Our room had a perfect kitchenette and every staff member was helpful and kind. The pool could use a lot less chlorine, but that was our only constructive feedback from the trip. Will definitely stay again!
