Cedartree Hotel Portland Hillsboro

Everything was Amazing. We really enjoyed staying at the hotel.

First off, the concept of this hotel is lovely. The Japanese styling makes it feel very relaxing and modern. The zen garden and koi ponds off the lobby are a nice touch. The staff is great - very polite and professional and they honored our Hotels.com VIP status with a food/drink credit. The rooms are pretty typical for a hotel except the bathroom had a wet room with a deep soaking tub and wonderful shower, which we loved. There is also a bidet toilet seat available if you want to use it - I love the one I have at home but chose not to use this one (read below). There were a few disappointments: only one ice machine by the 1st floor elevators and it was in serious need of defrosting. Our bathroom smelled of urine (the floor grout maybe needed a scrub) and the toilet was not cleaned very well. There was leftover excrement “splatter” under the rim. Pretty gross. Thankfully I had my own Clorox wipes to wipe everything down! Because of the convenience and price, I would maybe stay again but they really should work on some of the cleanliness issues.

Great place to get away from the everyday life and relax. Good food and drink.

this is truly the best hotel I have ever stayed. the staff is consistent and so kind. the onsen is divine. the restaurant is incredible. also, very good coffee when it's out.
