Let’s call it all sort of Water problems! I would like to start the concerns as I walked into check-in. There was a notice that there is no hot water (I don’t have a choice coz my booking was non-refundable). Then I took the keys and opened the door and I was welcomed by a baby roach by the door (god please show some mercy on me, it’s 1AM). I went to the sink to brush and clean my face, guess what the sink drain knob wouldn’t open. Now I have to use the sink pool, Ofcourse it slowly drained by morning. As we don’t have hot water I didn’t even bothered taking shower (I did later in the loves after checkout), I then had wonderful situation when someone flush the toilet, I will have less water force in the sink. Glad I got some decent sleep, and I ran out as fast as I can from this place. What did I pay for 😢

We stay here because it is the perfect mid point of a frequent trip. We get good rest. Staff is kind and accommodating. Late check ins are no problem. Very affordable. The area surrounding it convenient in proximity to gas, grocery and coffee shops. It is pet friendly too!

This is an older property. Shower was update, but toilet paper holder was ripped off wall. The gentleman at the front desk who welcomed us at nearly midnight was super! Easy access off the highway. Dog was free to stay!

This property had NO HOT WATER for a total of 5 days out of our 7 days stay. Front desk did not even notify guests, only had a sign for new guests checking in at the front desk. Front desk also had no idea when repairs were to be made or even if repairs WERE to even be done. I would like a refund for all the days with NO HOT WATER. Very irresponsible owners and managers.

Arrived and greeted in timely fashion. Reception area was clean and bright. Parking lot is well lit. This RR has exterior entry doors to rooms. Easy to park in front. All king rooms upstairs, none on ground floor. Large green area for dog walking. No pet fee for first dog. Quiet for our overnight stay.

This was the worst hotel room I have ever been in. There was NO Hot Water. The room was so filthy that our feet were black after just five minutes. There's rust everywhere and ants. The beds are the only decent thing. The curtains are torn half down and the whole property is run down .

This room was filthy. Dust stacked up thick everywhere. Hair all over bathroom floor and in shower. Multiple roaches were witnessed. Dead bugs and dirt were in the drawers. Stains all over the linens. Requested new linens and were told no. Asked for a refund and staff laughed and walked away. Do not stay here. It had a good rating so we didn’t expect these issues. Don’t be fooled. Stay elsewhere.

Overall property is nice enough and looks to have been recently updated. Only complaint is lack of cleanliness. Floors were grubby, sheets smelled like they weren't washed properly, many dead bugs in the bathroom light/vent.

About the only good thing we can say is that the beds were comfortable. The room was not clean. We found food on the table. It appeared that the room had not been vacuumed in quite some time either. There was no hot water, making it difficult to take a shower. The coffee machine came on by itself and water went everywhere. I don't recommend staying here until some improvements are made. We will not be staying here again.

Mold and mildew on the bathroom ceiling. Hair in the bottom of the shower. Dirty shower curtain. Lock hinge on door was broke off. Floor was dirty. Smelled bad as well. Worst place I have ever stayed in. I do not recommend staying here. Very disappointed in RedRoof Inn. Paid over $80 and it wasn't worth $5.

Check in was quick but that’s about all the positivity I can muster. It smelled like they just sprayed cleaner and left. The bathroom was gross, floors filthy, looked like nothing had actually been wiped down, and I just wanted to leave. I couldn’t wait until it was morning so I could get beach on the road.

Bad Review – Red Roof Inn, Saint George, SC Our stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. When we arrived, there was no one at the front desk, and it took nearly 10 minutes before a staff member finally appeared to check us in. My first impression of the room was terrible: there was visible dust around the bed, the sheets were not clean or neatly arranged, the refrigerator was filthy, and the drawers were full of dirt when I tried to place my belongings inside. The bathroom was also dirty and dusty, which made the entire room feel unhygienic. Sleeping was nearly impossible due to the loud noise from the heater, combined with the constant sound of the ice machine outside. It was one of the worst nights I’ve ever had in a hotel. To make matters worse, the breakfast offered in the morning was completely unacceptable—poor quality and not worth eating. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. The management clearly needs to be replaced, as the standards here are far below what guests should expected😩

We stopped at this hotel on our way home while on a road trip. The reception area was clean and the desk clerk was friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable but the room was humid and the AC not very cold. There was rust on all the furniture fixtures (drawer handles, lamps, etc. We were not happy with the coffee machine in the morning. It dispensed not only hot regular and decaf but also iced tea and iced coffee and you could taste the tea in the coffee. All in all we would stay again if we were passing through and just needed a bed

Front office staff were very nice. Room was very quiet and beds comfortable. Disappointed by stained ceiling tiles in bathroom, dirty floor in bath and toilet did not flush properly. Hope these issues get addressed.

I only needed a bed and a shower. And the Red Roof Inn delivered this at a budget price. But this is a *no-frills* kinda place. Some of the room furnishings looked like they had been plucked from the trash. Serious rust pocks on the desk table lamp (Room 110), rusty drawer handles, and some half-finished wall repair work. But the bathroom was clean and the bed was comfortable. And I appreciate the front desk staff letting me do a late check-out so I could finish my online mtg.

Not so good. Was expecting a 7.8 but I would say it was more of a 5.5 or 6 at best. Lock on inside of door was broken, floor was dirty, shower curtain did not cover shower space and leaked out onto the floor, sink was running slow, A/C did not work well. Bed was comfortable and it was quieter than I expected but those are the best things I can say.

Having to stay the night in a motel unexpectedly, I was nervous. Honestly, the staff was Warm and accommodating. The beds were comfortable and everything worked appropriately. We needed to stay a little longer past check out while Waiting for vehicle repairs and they let us do a late check out so we could stay with our child in the room. Overall the experience was pleasant.

Room was very nice bathroom very small. The gentleman we interacted with when we checked in not sure if he was new or not really didnt know what to do when i told him we had reservations. I showed him the conformation number from hotel.com and he said what is that. His english was very broken and hard to understand. He was very nice though

Already booked & no refund had us concerned when we pulled in to the parking lot. Very run down area around the motel made us want to keep driving. The building could use a paint job on the outside & doors were old & dirty looking. We decided to at least look at the room before we drove off & were very pleased with the interior room. No carpet instead very pretty tile. It was an updated CLEAN room. Nicely decorated room & the bed was comfortable. We had a good night sleep. It does need better lighting in the bathroom but still clean & updated fixtures.

There are extremely limited options for this county, outside of Summerville, which was a long drive to our destination for the week. We chose this one because it had a fairly good rating and was 20 minutes from our destination. The room looked nice, until I went in the bathroom. The shower curtain was stained mildew pink. The toilet paper holder was missing from the wall, replaced by a sloppy patch of white spackle, with the tp sitting on the back of the toilet tank. The toiletries supplied were barely enough for two people to each take one shower, but at least they were refreshed the next morning. The only food around was a coffee machine at the front desk. The town of Dorchester itself is almost a ghost town, but at least had a couple restaurants.

Booked this hotel due to relatively decent rating for the price/hotel caliber. I\'m not clear if the property has recently deteriorated dramatically, or if there have been false reviews posted for the property. The room absolutely reeked of old cat urine smell, for one. I get that pets are allowed, this wasn\'t an \'I stayed a night or two with my cat in the room\' smell, it was a \'I lived for an extended period in this room with multiple cats and never cleaned their litter\' smell. I\'ve only ever encountered this in houses with several cats and overflowing uncleaned litter boxes. That\'s the smell that greeted us. REALLY shady individuals hanging around outside the hotel and loud music playing until late at night. Other than the smell, it was dirty and oddly so humid in the room the sheets were damp and I had a hard time sleeping because of the damp, sticky feeling the bed had. ALSO NOTE: THIS HOTEL DOES NOT SERVE BREAKFAST! One of the things I specifically look for are hotels with free breakfast, to help cut down on trip costs. I chose this hotel in part because it listed free breakfast. When we went to eat in the morning, the clerk looked at me like I was stupid when I asked where the breakfast was, and declared rudely "No breakfast! Only coffee!" If this is the case, the hotel should NOT list free breakfast as an amenity. We will likely not stay at any Red Roof Inns in the future as a result of this experience.
