Place appears to be either new or newly refurbished. It was clean and well maintained. While it is an extended stay, they could've had a few vending machines, they had absolutely nothing in the way of amenities like that. I can only assume they expect you to stock the place for your stay. The only real issue were the pillows, they were about 1" thick if that. It was almost like having an empty pillowcase. Overall not bad though, clean and well kept.

Staff was friendly and helpful. The room had everything I needed, and the fridge was cold and ready for my food. I used the iron and it worked great. Bedding and towels were clean. The walls seemed thin, and I was afraid my neighbors might keep me awake, but this was not a problem--I went right to sleep and slept until my alarm, which rarely happens. Signage could be more visible from the road--not sure I could have found the place without GPS. But all in all, my stay was completely satisfactory.

Our unit was like an apartment. Large living room, kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher (although be aware there are only two plates, two coffee cups, etc, so bring plastic cups, paper plates, etc); large "master BR," even a laundry room with full-size washer and dryer; and large bathroom. The LR has a sofa/futon that folds down into a twin-size bed. I thought I had registered for three people but mistakenly didn't However, management promptly brought bed linens even though we arrived at 930PM and the office was closed. It was very surprising how large the unit was. This unit would be ideal if you're staying for one week or more. Note - my brother and SIL stayed in another unit and said their unit was more like a typical hotel room. There is a Keurig but only two K cups so you may want to bring some. The building and surrounding area was very quiet. We would stay here again and highly recommend.

Got it for the location. 30 minutes from the concert we went to and ten minutes from the entrances to skyline drive and the blue ridge parkway. Drove them for hours before and after the concert. Staff was friendly and helpful. Everything was new which is nice but a few things they will tweak.

Thanks, Stephanie only problem is to Neighbors. We could go your air conditioning close the smoke in your room. Just need to put some signs out, telling them the smoke across the street or on the far side of the parking lot. Really nice room and the next time we come back and we will definitely be staying there again

Front desk staff was nice and helpful. Everything inside the room was brand new and clean. For the price, it was a great value considering that it had a full kitchen. Some not so good things: The refrigerator in our room was turned off when we arrived. The smoke detector was missing. A guest a few doors down left a mess outside his door from where he had been hanging out outside and smoking - they need to curtail that behavior or the place will go downhill fast.

The area around the hotel is quiet and calm. The only real consideration is that the area where this is located does not have much in the way of food options, shopping, or much else and the hotel staff and owners of course don't have anything to do with that. It's a great place to stay with lots of room and pleasant staff and it's quiet and clean and seems safe enough. But if you want lots of choices to order out or go out to eat, there is not much choice at all, and there's not much in the way of shopping or anything other than a great Wawa gas station nearby and a few diners.

The place looks like it is newly renovated. The only bad thing was the smell of fresh paint. It was very spacious & comfortable, almost like an apartment. Only complaint is the bed was not comfortable. Seemed like a cheap thin mattress. Otherwise it was very nice & would stay here again.

The room was very nice and everything was brand new. The staff was professional. The grounds were nice. Only 1 problem. The family above us was very loud. Their ADHD kid was running around and stomping his/her feet until almost midnight. I would suggest staggering the rooms until the hotel is at full capacity.

The Valley Extended Suites is a clean, modern hotel that provides good value. Whether for a few days or just overnight, it has what is needed for an enjoyable stay. The only issue we had was with the thermostat on the HVAC system. While the system worked adequately, we had to turn the desired temperature way down (62 degrees) before the room was comfortable enough to sleep. Once we figured that out, it worked fine, but when we set it at the temp we wanted (68/69 degrees), the room was still stuffy and too warm. We would stay there again if we were in the area.

We were greeted wonderfully by the manager. He was very helpful with places to go for lunch in the area & how to get there. The most pleasant ever encountered at a hotel. The rooms were great! Very clean & comfortable. Only problem experienced was the guests above us knocking around & playing their tv loud well after 10 p.m.

Spacious room, feels new inside the unit minus some paint touch ups. Kitchenette more then enough space to actually cook though not enough kitchen wares to prepare or cook with. Prepare ahead of time with pots and pans if intending to cook. Clean fresh bathroom

Pictures and reviews looked good, so we gave it a chance. I didn’t read the booking details carefully and showed up after 8pm a little panicked when the open sign was off. However a sign on the door had an after hours number for check in. Called and was immediately helped and in our room within 5 minutes. Room was awesome. A great set up. I kind of wish we were staying longer than one night. The bed was a little uncomfortable, but everything was super clean and the staff were extremely nice.

It was a very clean room, but lacked the basics needed for a stay. We had 3 registered guests, but only 2 towels, 2 washcloths, 2 pillows were provided and I had a hard time getting anyone present in the office to get more. The couch that is a futon had no provided sheets, or even an extra blanket. The walls are pretty thin, and we had the guest on the floor above yelling into his phone around 6am one morning - we were able to hear both sides of the conversation. Overall, it was clean - and I really appreciate that! The extras that are needed for a basic hotel stay need to be addressed. We had to go purchase an extra towel, blanket, and pillow.

Excellent contact from the team there. They were proactive in calling about my late arrival to make it a smooth process. I left an item at the room on accident and they called and offered to ship it back. No need as it wasn’t high value, but I appreciated the offer. Room was also clean, fairly up to date, and a decent rate. I’ll definitely come back here next time I’m in the area

You have to take your trash out yourself. You have to take the towels and washcloths to the office to get fresh ones, but nobody is ever in the office. You can call a number and they will come to the office, but they are never there. The staff is friendly, and the place is very clean, but I consider trash and towels to be part of the hotel service.
You have to take your trash out yourself. You have to take the towels and washcloths to the office to get fresh ones, but nobody is ever in the office. You can call a number and they will come to the office, but they are never there. The staff is friendly, and the place is very clean, but I consider trash and towels to be part of the hotel service.

The hotel was clean and served my purpose well. I stayed there for 3 weeks for the purposes of work. I feel I must mention though, that I encountered something I have never experienced at other hotels, specifically other “Extended Stay” hotels. I was informed that once I used/went through the existing “expendables”, such as toilet paper, paper towels and garbage bags, I had to supply whatever I needed after the “originals” were gone. I was a definitely surprised by this. So, if you’re looking for a long stay, it is nice and very clean, but just keep that in mind.

I would say the room was great. It was clean and very spacious. The staff working in the office were very friendly and kind. The parking is plentiful and easy to access. The area around the hotel is quiet and calm. The only real consideration is that the area where this is located does not have much in the way of food options, shopping, or much else and the hotel staff and owners of course don't have anything to do with that. It's a great place to stay with lots of room and pleasant staff and it's quiet and clean and seems safe enough. But if you want lots of choices to order out or go out to eat, there is not much choice at all, and there's not much in the way of shopping or anything other than a great Wawa gas station nearby and a few diners.

Staff was friendly and helpful. The room had everything I needed, and the fridge was cold and ready for my food. I used the iron and it worked great. Bedding and towels were clean. The walls seemed thin, and I was afraid my neighbors might keep me awake, but this was not a problem--I went right to sleep and slept until my alarm, which rarely happens. Signage could be more visible from the road--not sure I could have found the place without GPS. But all in all, my stay was completely satisfactory.

Got it for the location. 30 minutes from the concert we went to and ten minutes from the entrances to skyline drive and the blue ridge parkway. Drove them for hours before and after the concert. Staff was friendly and helpful. Everything was new which is nice but a few things they will tweak.

Great lil place not far from the blue ridge pkwy or I-81 Nice quiet out of the way spot that’s only a mile from I-64 Friendly staff and very clean and quiet property Great value!!! The bed was a lil firm for my liking but they said next time to ask for a pillow topper when I book I’ll be back again and Bonus / the AC actually didn’t make a bunch of crazy noises all night lol 😎
