Farther away from airport than I expected. New, clean, comfortable. Gym was better than most hotel gyms. Plan ahead breakfast not included and there was only 1 person in their cafe. Very nice place.

The property and the facilities were well-maintained and the staff was friendly, but we were very disappointed because the bar and restaurant that were advertised. We’re not open and the Starbucks was mediocre and did not have many things on the menu.

The fire pit has been unusable for awhile it took away from the outside seating area! I came because of the fire pit as I like to enjoy the night outside area plus it was advertised online with a beautiful alluring picture…. I was disappointed

clean room but elevator wasn’t working this morning

Although property was really nice, there were limited parking spots over the weekend, we had to park at an adjacent hotel, which was a little suspect especially later at night.

The property was not great but I wouldn’t say it was too bad. We stayed for four days and the elevator was out the entire time we were there and we stayed on the fourth floor. The pools conditions could have been better, visually it was nice and it was empty when I went but the stains at the bottom of the pool and along the sides were very unappealing. The shower pressure was more of a power wash than anything but it was a very quiet place to stay the staff, was amazing and the decor was perfect.

The bar was never open, there is no restaurant. The air conditioning could not be adjusted it stayed freezing in my room. When going to bed and pulled the covers down there was blood on the sheet and comforter. They told me we would have to change rooms because they had no one to change the sheets. We went to another room and was going to bed and pulled the sheets down and there was blood in the sheets and comforter of the 2nd room as well. There were no other rooms for us to move to. Worse experience that I have ever had. Will never stay at this property again!

Friendly, helpful staff. Super clean, modern. LOVE the huge gym. Modern rooms. Just needs 24 hour access to coffee, tea, water like Hampton Inn has.

Hotel was clean. Outdoor fireplace was not working-disappointing since that was the reason I booked this hotel and not a less expensive one. Staff seemed confused about the breakfast option that I prepaid, first saying that I had $40 credit, then only $10 and then $20.

Our shower had black mold that was caulked over and visible! There was hair in shower, sink and bedding!!!!

I would have given 5 stars but there was a chair and ottoman in the room that was badly stained. It looked comfy but no way I was going to find out. Also the tub tile and floor tile near tub had a little bit of mold. The rest of the room was great. The bed was super comfy and the sheets were pristine white.

Upon arrival, we discovered a hairball in the tub, dried blood on the comforter, the TV didn't work, and the toilet seat was extremely loose. All staff we approached about these issues acted as if we were inconveniencing them. The night staff was especially unprofessional. Each issue eventually got resolved after following up. The day before we left, we attempted to use the on-site laundry...out of order. Upon checkout, we found that we had been charged for parking and there isn't so much as coffee available in the morning, unless you want to get it from their on-site Starbucks at $6/cup. Also, they put a $200 hold on your credit/debit card that they say takes 5-10 days to get back after checkout. Our overall experience was nothing short of frustrating and we will never stay here again.

The outside and the entrance are beautiful. The rooms are decorated nice however the cleaning of the rooms are beyond horrible. At 10:00 PM we had to request linen to make the bed. The linen was not changed just pulled up and over. The top over given wasn't large enpugh to cover the entire bed. Pillows were dirty with one appearing to have small blood splatters on it.The shower was dirty you can see the dirt on the shower floor. The bathroom floor was not swept hair and dirt on the floor. All of this ruined our weekend getaway.

Mold and mildew in shower!! And the bed is way past its prime. Completely uncomfortable!!

I arrived at the property late (around 8 PM), exhausted, and needing to be up early by 6 AM. The first thing I noticed was mold in the bathtub and a dirty door, which I easily cleaned with a Lysol wipe. The staff should have sprayed the bathtub with bleach to address the mold, and it takes little effort to wipe down a door—especially one that’s frequently used.

The water wasn’t drinkable and no one told me. Went to go take a shower and I had tons of metal shavings. Went to the front desk and was told to run the shower for “5 mins”. On day three- the water still had metal flakes and was dirty. My bed had a long hair that wasn’t mine and l questioned it being clean. The towels also had long black hair on it?? I will never stay here again- paid the extra money because it was Marriott and it wasn’t worth it. Area is super sketchy

The king size bed is not a standard king size bed and is actually smaller than a standard king. The carpet in the room was sticky and left residue on our feet. The shower had visible mold and seemed generally unclean. We checked out early and stayed elsewhere. I don’t recommend this location at all.

Room was exceptionally comfortable and clean. Very happy with the multiple softer pillows instead of large firm ones, and the bed was perfect. No issues with my stay here at all.

Check in was fast! The walls in the rooms are paper thin, you could hear everything from the other rooms and the outside. Overall, it was a nice stay.

I had a last-minute need to stay overnight in North Charleston. I was very happy to find a room available at the courtyard Marriott. I arrived late and there was someone waiting to greet me at the desk. I was pleased to see that as usual the room was incredibly clean. I was slightly disappointed at the choices of snacks, etc., by the front desk as the bar and food were already closed. The blackout shades are no joke. I overslept and missed the breakfast time too. The only thing I would recommend would be for the Starbucks and food to have longer hours

The room was set up very smartly, with a desk, movable TV mount, and large couch. I also really enjoyed the shower. Overall, I enjoyed my stay here and would stay again if I were in the area.

ADA-accessible room was OUTSTANDING! Roomy, well laid-out, bathroom with wall-mounted seat, 2 vertical grab bars (shower and toilet), roll-under sink, 2 roll-under desks, fridge (door opens same side as cabinet!), and microwave! Did NOT contain extra furniture blocking outlets or other irritating features of "standard" hotel rooms. Helpful front staff, easy entry points. Perfect!

Bed was comfy. Wifi didn’t work as good

Only negative would be the mattress. It needs to be replaced. Very soft on one side.

Room was nice. Comfortable king size bed. But no microwave.

The property is located near a busy road which generates a lot of exterior noise. The A/C and refrigerator in our room were both exceptionally noisy, waking us up every time they kicked on during the night.

My bed was lumpy. Light fixtures hanging from the wall and the elevators were not working.

The staff was really welcoming and accommodating. The hotel was clean and cozy. I will definitely stay here again!

People can make or break a stay. Jason went out of his way to make sure we were having a pleasant stay and offered some good suggestions when we sought ideas about areas to explore outside our visit with our sailor.

When we first arrived, we were disappointed with the overall vibe of the hotel, having just stayed at the downtown Charleston Courtyard Marriott the night prior as well as the Savanna Marriott the nights prior to that, which were both lovely. Because we couldn’t get a room after our first night in Charleston, we booked with hotels.com, which wouldn’t allow us to cancel without a nights stay fee. From the start, our room overlooked a roof of the building which I was able to change to another with a better view which was fine. After settling in, my husband took a shower and told me the water wasn’t draining and was at least 6 inches which he was standing in after showering. I notified the front desk and was told that they would send someone up but after waiting for over an hour, I phoned again letting them know that this was delaying our plans to go out for the evening, and waited an additional half hour plus before someone came, and after some time in the bathroom, he showed me a very large clump of hair which he pulled from the drain. I don’t know how the room keepers didn’t notice it wasn’t properly draining upon cleaning it. Because of that, our evening was cut short. When we returned, following our outing, and prepared for bed, I checked the closet for extra blankets or comforters, which the other hotel had and which the one that did not, was brought up to me, so I phoned the front desk, at 11 pm or so, and it rang and rang, for a very very long time but nobody picked up.

Omar was great! It was a very long drive and he made check-in very pleasant! Great personality, all around great vibe. Thank you for making my first stay memorable! We will definitely be back!! The amenities are an added plus! The wings at the Bistro soooo crispy and saucey. Amazing

Our check-in experience was far from acceptable. Our counter person struggled to input our information correctly, and after signing off on my credit card, I was told there was an error and the transaction needed to be processed again. After a lengthy period of time straightening out our charges (with the help of another counter attendant), we were directed to our room. We didn't realize we were not instructed on the location of hotel amenities such as pool, ice machines or dining areas. After exploring the hotel on our own, we figured those things out ... no big deal. However, going down for our complimentary breakfast the following morning, we were told that we needed to present the breakfast vouchers given to us at check-in. Needless to say, we received no vouchers, another oversight of the counter attendant at check-in. Our attempt to explain fell on deaf ears, so ultimately we needed to find another restaurant in the area for breakfast ... inconvenient, and now we're out another $30. The complimentary breakfast promised during our booking was a contributing factor as to why we chose this hotel in the first place. Obviously, staff should be fully trained in order to prevent this type of oversight from happening.

Our experience was perfect! The room was clean and well appointed. The staff were especially friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Omar welcomed us in a surprisingly friendly and familial manner. After many hours of travel, this warm interchange was especially pleasant.

The service was exceptional

Our uber driver told us this is not a good area to walk after dark. There was a cockroach in the bathroom when I got up in the morning. My cappuccino at the coffee shop was $5 one morning v and $7 the next and not hot. The hotel was ok but not a good are.

Beautiful hotel close to everything

We missed our flight and ended up here for the night. The staff was very friendly and accommodating room was an excellent condition. It was also located conveniently close to the airport.

It is a ok location, but the area around is not appealing and I did not feel safe to be out later at night.

Location was not ideal to tour historic Charleston. Traffic into the city was heavy. Room was very nice. Bed was amazing. Good shower and strong water pressure. Excellent A/C during hot weekend was appreciated. Thought the fee for the surface lot that surrounded the property was absurd.

Close to the Interstate, which made it very convenient when heading into Downtown Charleston or other areas. Very nice as well.

Excellent experience all the way around! Very clean and quiet. Not a great area in my opinion but good location if you want to be close to the interstate.

Property was very clean and the room was nice! The only issue was cafe in the morning. It wasn’t open 3 of the mornings we attempted to eat breakfast there. There was barely any food or coffee left out in the morning. The cafe in the evening was great and we ate there a couple times. Bartender was very nice.

The onsite restaurant and just overall customer service was great!!!

Our welcome staff was nice, the room was spacious and the bed comfy, but the hotel walls are very thin. We paid for our breakfast up front and we had a very nice and delicious first breakfast. The lady who served our first breakfast was very fast and friendly and made sure the empty coffee was filled up immediately. Our second breakfast was a big catastrophe. We had to return our first order (because of missing sides) and ordered a different breakfast just to wait in total 1 hour and 15 minutes to get something to eat for 3 persons. The service was not fast or friendly at all so we decided to complain and got help from Megan, the assistant GM. In the end the solution we found was satisfying both sides, but we probably will not come back to stay in that hotel again, even though it is all in all a newer hotel with a good bed. If you want to stay in safe and quiet place, pay a little more and stay out of North Charleston.

The strobe light on the fire alarm started going off at 6am for no reason and the kitchen was closed when we placed our order at 920 am even tho stating it was open til 930. Other than that it was very clean, comfortable beds and close to airport which was very nice.

The hotel waa decent. Not the best experience I ever had. There was an issue with breakfast and the supposed breakfast we paid to include was not available one day and then found out that it was just sandwich and 1 american coffee. Not sure what we paid extra for...
