Excellent stay. Loved the free breakfast, the rooms and bathrooms were super clean. Rooms and hotel overall had a modern feel. Gym was pretty good for a hotel. Parking was plentiful. The negatives would be that there is no restaurants close by (have to drive somewhat far) and there was staff at the front desk at times (especially when I needed to check out of the hotel).

The hotel is new, well designed, and comfortable. Very nice location on the lake. Breakfast at Hyatt Place is one of the best breakfasts we have had in our travels with lots of options. We needed to clean the pool with the net prior to swimming in it (lots of floating things) and when we needed assistance in the night with a loud guest above us, nobody answered the phone and the front desk was unmanned. Otherwise would have been a great experience.

The hotel looks brand new. The view of the lake behind the hotel was a big surprise. There is a walking path around the lake and a fire pit and porch on the lake. I appreciated the connection to nature. The bartender was so helpful, and the breakfast was more than your average free breakfast. You can walk to several restaurants in minutes from the hotel.

Thus hotel served a wonderful breakfast, eggs, bacon, potatoes, fruit, boiled eggs, bagels-all delicious !! Also had a bar that served beer and wine. Would highly recommend this hotel!!

Very strong fragrance throughout the facility was not pleasant. There was a razor in the shower and beer cans in the trash can when we initially entered our room. Obviously housekeeping missed a couple things when changing out the room.

Hotel was easy to get to and very nice. Only issue was the bathroom was not cleaned very well. Lots of hair left in the bathroom from previous occupants. Otherwise the rest of the room was very clean and temperature was great.

The hotel was in an ideal location right off the interstate close to all major sites yet far enough to relax in a quiet suburb. It overlooks a lake with a walking path around it. The hotel has a patio with lounge chairs and fire pits too so you can enjoy the view. The rooms were clean and spacious and the breakfast was well supplied. Great place!

The hotel lobby and rooms were very nice and clean. The walls are so thin you can hear everything in the rooms around you including walking. There was a great man made lake with pathways to walk around.

Room needs sound proofing. Room a November is was so noisy it sounded like they were partying in our room. We had handicap room with tile bathrooms floor. Tile was dangerously ridged so heel could catch on it

Super comfy bed, private balcony with a lake view is great, very spacious, easy to access, easy parking for large uhaul with auto hauler, huge shower with perfect water pressure and temperature!

I only rated this three stars overall because the room had an adjoining door to another room that had load children. Otherwise this facility was average to slightly above average. Would not stay at this place in the future due to adjoining room doors and noisy kids in that room.

When I arrived at the hotel, they could not locate our reservation. I had booked two rooms and they could find nothing. I had my confirmation number my itinerary information and there was no finding my reservation. The staff was so helpful. They found us their last two rooms and accommodated us at the rate that we were given through Hotels.com. This could’ve been a complete disaster. Had the staff not been so helpful with us. We were there moving family members from one state to another. So for us to arrive from another state and not have the hotel have our reservation was very concerning. I can’t say enough, how helpful the staff was I would recommend this hotel 10 times over. The breakfast was great. The rooms were fabulous. The service was exceptional. The views are impeccable. It’s very close to everything or not far from anything you would like to get to.

I was having an issue with a Bluetooth device of mine and pairing it to wi-fi. Though I think the issue was my device, several of the staff went out of their way to try to help me. I’m used to people blowing off personal problems like that but they really tried their best to assist me.

I was expecting a functional restaurant/bar and grill. Checking in was great, but the girl at the desk after was very unfriendly, I think her name was Louise. I had asked for a for a wake-up call, which I did not get. Room was excellent as far as cleanliness 👍👍. Breakfast ok!

Hands down, our favorite place to stay. We enjoy the deck and the fire pit, and taking a walk around the lake. The property is clean and quiet. It is tucked away from major traffic but also convenient to shopping, restaurants, and the interstate. If we are planning a trip to Sioux Falls, this is the first place we check for availability. We don't want to stay anywhere else!

Great place, comfortable and pleasant. My only complaint is that breakfast only went until 9 a.m. Thinking it was 9:30, we cam down right at nine only to be told it was over--but they kindly allowed us to help ourselves to whatever was left (which was pretty much everything except the hot options).

Our room was very comfy. Staff was terrific! Each doing double/triple duty at front desk. Breakfast was hot, fresh, simple but nice variety. Loved the wide deck overlooking Lake Lorraine. Appreciate having bar service & few options for light meal onsite. My favorite Hyatt Place!

The staff were all very professional and service oriented. The amenities were all very clean. Loved the breakfast set up! The food options for lunch/dinner through the Placery coudl improve as the fryer was down and the turkey sandwich was not available. More food options on that menu would be nice.
