The Place was a great home away from home hotel experience. The staff at check in was extremely friendly and helpful and the room was clean, bed was very comfortable and the hotel itself was well maintained. The restaurant in the hotel was always very active and the food was great. The only complain would be the restaurant service was very slow, otherwise - it was a wonderful stay.

The Place é uma ótima opção de hospedagem em Santiago, um pouco longe das comunas mais agitadas como Vitacura ou Providência, mas tem uma estação de metrô ao lado que ajuda bastante. Todos os apartamentos tem uma cozinha bem equipada, mas também tem um café/restaurante anexo a propriedade que ajuda em todas as refeições, com atendimento gentil e boas opções no cardápio. The Place também conta com um grande espaço de coworking e um rooftop com espreguiçadeiras e uma pequena piscina (não aquecida). Nosso quarto era bem espaçoso, além da cozinha, havia uma sala, closet e até uma varanda, mas o banheiro era minúsculo e até difícil de se movimentar lá dentro. O chuveiro era muito fraco, quase conta gotas e também não tinha nenhum suporte dentro do box para deixar meus produtos. A limpeza deixou bastante a desejar, vi alguns fios de cabelo na cama e o banheiro tinha muitos detalhes sujos, além de um cheiro de urina no vaso sanitário. Ficamos hospedados de sábado a terça e no domingo não teve serviço de housekeeping, faltando até papel higiênico. Como a propriedade também era residencial, não existe uma recepção tradicional de hotel, mas todo o time foi bem atencioso conosco, inclusive era nosso aniversário de casamento e nos deixaram um mimo e deram upgrade de quarto.

Excellent stay and what was required for my business trip. Very comfortable apartment with daily cleaning. The cafe downstairs is a bonus with very helpful staff as my Spanish is very limited. Excellent breakfast and good value. Will be staying here again.

Very nice and modern and clean and beautiful apartments. The bed was wonderful. The location great and delicious food and coffee at the restaurant on site. Also a great bonus that the restaurant didn’t feel like a hotel restaurant, it was a lively and busy cafe. Great coworking space, love pool on the rooftop. Absolutely perfect hotel for remote work.

I cannot say enough good things about The Place and would stay there again. The design of our suite was incredible. Our overnight flight arrived and they allowed us to check in early at 10 a.m. Likewise, our overnight departure flight was at 10:30 p.m. and they let us check out at 2 p.m. Breakfast is in their restaurant and there are five different choices. We tried all of them during our week in Santiago and loved all of them. Our room was always kept clean and the reception staff were always quite friendly, patient answering our questions, and offered suggestions as well. This is a quiet residential area in one of the best parts of the city so nit in the central area but the hotel is between two Metro stations, each a 10-minute walk. Nothing beat sitting on our balcony with bread, cheese, Iberian ham, and a bottle of wine while watching the Andes in the background.

Modern place, good elevators, staff in general helpful. Good internet. Water pressure low. High level rooms have smaller bathrooms than the level lower which was a bit of a surprise. Bathrooms are definitely too small to be comfortable. Nice office room downstairs. In general quite neighbourhood and very well located.

O apartamento é muito bem decorado e bem estruturado. Minha nota baixa se deve ao pessimo banheiro. Ele é apertado, o chuveiro não tem pressão e não há ducha higiênica. O atendimento é bom mas nada que justifique a nota acima de 9. A estrutura interna é boa, tem um roof top de descanso e um restaurante muito bom e independente na frente.

Hotel novo, bonito e bem localizado, próximo a um shopping e a um parque (Arauco), além de comércio local. O destaque vai para o conforto, com cama e enxoval excelentes, e uma boa estrutura de quarto com sacada, geladeira e cozinha equipada. O restaurante também é excelente, com bom sabor e preço justo (média de 10.000 pesos chilenos para cada prato). Dica: se vai fazer algum passeio que sai muito cedo, eles preparam o café da manhã na noite anterior e você pode levar para o quarto. Só precisa pedir. O único ponto negativo é a limpeza do apartamento e da propriedade, que precisa de um bom aspirador de pó e um pano úmido, principalmente o tapete e o chão.

I paid extra for a "sea view" room and was given a room with a tiny partial view. Turns out the hotel does not have sea view rooms at all, because they are not ocean front - there is a building in-between. They are working to fix the advertising to reflect reality, as I was told. Our room also had a large hair ball in the bathroom at check in and the mirror had large rust stains on them. When the front desk was notified, they said they would fix the mirror and the cleaning for us while we went to diner. However, after dinner the hairball was still in the bathroom and the mirrors were not fixed/changed/cleaned. The next day the manager contacted me and apologized. Offered a 15% discount and free breakfast during our stay. Upon check out, the 15% discount was only applied to 1 night and the extra night we had to extend due to family reasons was offered at an even higher rate than originally offered. Overall, the quality level of the rooms is mediocre with very noise rooms. You can hear doors slamming and you can hear people going thru the trash bins outside to collect bottles.

I loved this hotel. It was more like an apartment and has everything that you need for a comfortable stay, including a lovely balcony and a separate sitting room. The staff was also super friendly, bed was comfy, kitchen has everything I needed. I will definitely stay there again. (Side note, I didn’t love the restaurant next door. I’d skip adding breakfast to the reservation as it’s cheaper locally).

The rooms did not disappoint! I had a double terrace and it was really nice. I used the gym, which was minimal but got the job done. I attempted to extend my stay because I was so comfortable, but they were booked! O apartamento é muito bem decorado e bem estruturado. Minha nota baixa se deve ao pessimo banheiro. Ele é apertado, o chuveiro não tem pressão e não há ducha higiênica. The Place was a great home away from home hotel experience. Great location and decent rooms. However, I was very disappointed about their customer service. I left my jacket in the room and reached out to the hotel so that they could save it for me and no one answered my calls nor responded my emails. The hotel only responded to me via whatsapp to let me know they were going to look for my jacket, but when I showed up three days later to check on my item, they informed housekeeping didn’t find anything. I was extremely disappointed by the lack of honesty and transparency from their housekeeping staff because I left my jacket on top of the bed, so clearly they lied about it. Also, how they handled the situation was extremely frustrating as the phone number listed on their website didn’t work and no one responded to my email requests.

I cannot say enough good things about The Place and would stay there again. The design of our suite was incredible. Our overnight flight arrived and they allowed us to check in early at 10 a.m. Likewise, our overnight departure flight was at 10:30 p.m. and they let us check out at 2 p.m. Breakfast is in their restaurant and there are five different choices. We tried all of them during our week in Santiago and loved all of them. Our room was always kept clean and the reception staff were always quite friendly, patient answering our questions, and offered suggestions as well. This is a quiet residential area in one of the best parts of the city so nit in the central area but the hotel is between two Metro stations, each a 10-minute walk. Nothing beat sitting on our balcony with bread, cheese, Iberian ham, and a bottle of wine while watching the Andes in the background.

Tivemos uma ótima hospedagem no hotel. Rua muito tranquila e prédio bem silencioso. O apartamento que ficamos tinha uma varanda, que era possível pegar um solzinho no fim do dia. Tivemos acesso a um pequeno mercado e alguns cafés bem próximos. O Parque Arauco e o Shopping Arauco também são próximos, sendo possível ir a pé. Estação de metrô a 3 quadras de distância. Como o apartamento possui cozinha completa, foi possível comprar itens para o café da manhã e fazermos o nosso próprio café e pequenos janteres. Como viajamos com nosso filho de 3 anos (quase 4), foi uma excelente opção.

Very nice and modern and clean and beautiful apartments. The bed was wonderful. The location great and delicious food and coffee at the restaurant on site. Also a great bonus that the restaurant didn’t feel like a hotel restaurant, it was a lively and busy cafe. Great coworking space, love pool on the rooftop. Absolutely perfect hotel for remote work.

The location is very convenient, right in the city, and the indoor parking garage was especially useful for us. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and the room was very comfortable. We also really appreciated having a kitchen in the room. The hotel has its own restaurant downstairs, which was very convenient, and we could easily order food and have it delivered to the room. The prices were also quite reasonable. For us, it was the perfect place to stay for a night before and after skiing—comfortable, practical, and very convenient. Definitely recommended!
