Amazing hotel!!! The only downside is that they don't have a pool

This hotel has a beautiful rooftop bar with a sunset view of the mountains. The rooms a updated and large. The Ambar restaurant on the first floor was delicious too. Great place to stay if you are passing through el paso on your college drop-off journey like us!

$ 30 valet fee. Had a long wait to get our car. Car was covered in dust and did not appear to have been placed in covered parking.

There is no assigned parking lot so you have to pay for valet parking or park around two blocks away from the hotel

This is my second visit to the property, my favorite thing is how comfortable the bed is! Wish there was a pool.

We were told breakfasts were included - they were not. It was advertised as all rooms having a "city view" - our "city view" was air conditioning equipment, fans, ductwork/sheet metal and other machinery. The shower had the most confounded controls I've ever seen - so bad that instructions were provided but they were wrong! I had to do the exact opposite to get it to work and then there was inadequate hot water. Parking and even finding the front door was horrendous due to road construction and inadequate signage - I had to try to call the hotel from streetside to find out where the entrance was and that was a nightmare - every phone number I could find online only took me to a reservations extension where I had to endure a long hold time before talking to an actual human being. But other thsn that, it was fine, the room was very nice (with the curtains closed and the view from the 17th floor rooftop bar is magical! the exact

Sad the gym wasn’t operational, but glad we had access to the one across the street. Desk and valet staff super friendly and accommodating. Got bumped out of our Pearl reservation on the day of due to a private party. Not happy about that. Ambar was ok, loved the 11 place across the street!

Very nice, contemporary hotel that feels brand new. Rooms are very nice, bed was very comfortable and all was quiet. The fitness facility is very well equipped. Beautiful hotel!

We loved it! Super clean and quiet

Stayed on a flood that had a very bad sewer odor in the hall which started coming in to the bathroom in the morning of my stay. The mini bar also had many expired items. I will definitely request a room on a much higher floor for my next visit.

I reserved a specific room, and I was ultimately given another (smaller.) The smell in the room was not pleasing; the bathroom didn't seem thoroughly cleaned- hair in different places, which grossed me out.

Room was not cleaned. Dirty glasses left in room. Drawers left open.

Gorgeous hotel. Loved the location. Minor? Complaint. Shower had hair on the wall that didn’t belong to me. After 3 days, those hairs remained there. Was the shower really clean??

We always enjoy our stay here and appreciate the cleanliness of the hotel and the rooms. The staff are all very friendly and helpful.

Staff was fantastic. Our room on the other hand didn’t seem to be cleaned. Toilet had urine all on seat and toilet boil was disgusting. We found an earring on carpet, and it didn’t look as if it had been vacuumed.

Parking situation could be better, especially late at night. Hallway reeked of old food. Trays and carts with leftover food and dirty plates sat at least 12 hours overnight, causing the hallways to smell bad.

Everything about check in was perfect. The front desk was so accommodating and welcoming. Our room Was spotless and comfortable.

Usually my stay here is quiet without any issues. 4th floor was very noisy in the middle of the night with people arguing and what sounded like security interacting both nights. Hallway smelled like there was a sewer issue with a mix bleach. I do like the property but i will definitely request a different room and floor in the future.

Really wonderful stay at the Plaza. Stayed in a Landmark Suite and it's definitely worth the upgrade. This is a very well-done and cared-for hotel in a fantastic city-center location. Service was above average. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

The rooms are too small to be a luxury hotel. No swimming pool. Other than that everything was great.

Amazing bar with old time appeal. Rooms are all updated and new. Very quiet and blackout curtains in every room. A Bluetooth speaker in the room is a nice touch. Just all around premium service at a great price.

Facility, location room everything was great. There is a nightclub on the top floor that put you in the middle of a thump thump. If you’re there on a Friday and Saturday night. Made it very hard to fall asleep.

Lovely hotel. Lovely amenities. Restaurant is fabulous. One side of the hotel is very loud on weekends due to a nightclub. Ask for a quiet room and this is a perfect hotel.

Let's be perfectly fair and clear, the hotel itself is absolutely stunning. The rooms are appointed incredibly well, comfortable beds and great amenities. After you've checked in, what they don't tell you is that they have had a known issue with a bar just next-door that stays open until 2 AM and plays the loudest rave music. They openly admitted that they've had to call the police on them countless times through the years. And when I say loud, I wear hearing aids, and without them, I could hear/feel the music pulsating throughout the room, to the point where we couldn't sleep for several waking hours. When I went downstairs to request a room change, they were oversold, which is understandable but they have a responsibility to share that with us. Last I checked, it was the hospitality business. You wouldn't invite someone in to your own home and then place a large radio next to them at full blast unless you intended to torture them. Maybe they don't understand that there are people passing through who are weary travelers, or maybe just want a good nights sleep. I will go out of my way to spread the horrible experience we had and never stay in this hotel. If it makes you feel any better, they offered earplugs, which is hilarious. They do give you a nice note with the managers name, and the name of the bar where the noise is coming from. It has her number on it, but apparently she doesn't know how to pick up a phone. Maybe you'll have better luck.

I was upgraded to a gorgeous suite by helpful front desk staff. A Nespresso coffee maker is in the room with regular, decaf, and Coffeemate. There is a large TV in the bedroom and another in the sitting room over a desk. Moveable light-up mirror, hair dryer, and quality shampoo, rinse, and liquid soap. Shower and a separate sprayer arm. Robes. Phone charging outlets in the drawer next to the bed. Large closet with lots of hangers. Built by Conrad Hilton whose wife Elizabeth Taylor lived there. Her quarters are now a rooftop bar with a patio overlooking downtown El Paso. Restaurant on the main floor. Excellent workout room with video classes. Convenient to theatres and walk safely everywhere. Two vegan restaurants on the same street. Would stay here again.

check in was easy and fast, staff provided excellent service from the moment I arrived to the day I checked out. Room was clean, great decor, espresso machine, and loved the variety of snacks, drinks, and alcohol available for purchase. However, room had thin walls, got woken up by housekeeper cleaning next door, and you can hear people walking on the top floor. not much counter space in the bathroom, black out curtains not really blocking sun out in the morning. overall, stay was great! gym was well equipped and I enjoyed my work out. restaurant and roof top was really nice, great food and drinks!

Our start was perfect! The room was large and beautiful with modern amenities. The whole bathroom was gorgeous with ac walking shower. The restaurant located near the lobby was delicious. Will definitely stay here again!

Got a confirmation email on my reservation. When I arrived after a 4 Hour Dr. I was told the reservation have been canceled because there were no rooms with double beds available. NO help was offered on securing a room somewhere else even though it was a glitch in the Plaza Hotels reservation system. I was also told that because I booked it through a third-party it was my responsibility to cancel the charge on my credit card! Horrible, horrible experience!!!

Beautiful hotel unfortunately the service did not match with the hotel. Our room wasn’t touched for 2 days. We were gone all day to come back to a dirty room. Had to call and stay away for another hour. Incomplete service the following day. Not enough housekeeping or waiter staff. Waited over 30 minutes to get a drink in the bar and had to leave before we got our drinks. Valets we’re great

The staff were amazing! Check in/out was a breeze. Very relaxing and comfortable.

Unbeatable customer service!

From the moment we stepped out of our car, we were greeted by helpful and friendly staff. Our room was beautiful! We loved staying at The Plaza!!!

From the moment we stepped onto the property we felt like we were with family. We were there for a week and no matter who we interreacted with, everyone was very helpful. The bar staff, even shorthanded, did their best. Dennis, front desk manager, was exception and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was everything we hoped it would be. We will definitely stay at The Plaza the next time we are in El Paso

I called at 5am to see if I could get an earlier check in, and was told yes that noon would work. I arranged my schedule and was excited to nap and have some down time, I was told that was not correct and I could not check in until 3. Thankfully they were able to accommodate a nice bathroom to freshen up in, I grabbed lunch, then had to wait 2 more hours to get our room.. oh well I guess. We ordered room service after some phone misunderstandings I thought we were good! Around 35/40 minutes later I was called to ask what the entree I ordered was.. the tenderloin.. so not super hard I believe. Then was called about 2 minutes later again saying everything else is ready and should be up and the entree was being cooked.. told her I have to leave very soon so how much longer and was told a short time frame. I was then called again very soon and a man told me everything is being cooked and should be to me within 20-30 minutes and would be on them.. unfortunately we had to go and were left without being able to eat or drink during our stay since we had to leave at 3 am to the airport, honestly very disappointed since this hotel seemed very nice

The hotel is nice; front desk staff is rude. The staff at restaurant were very polite and attentive. Gal at the front desk was verbally rude to my guest after asking if they sold postcards. Funny how at our next hotel stops; on our road trip, gave us free postcards.

Excellently appointed, modern facility & accommodation. Friendly & professional front desk staff. Disastrous dining experience: ridiculously elaborate menu that staff could not support. Waited 45 minutes for appetizers and the server then dumped hot main course on our table at the same time without plates. Had to ask 3 times for water.

Hotel rooms, lobby, and bar outstanding. Restaurant was not good, very slow, food was over the top funky. Not good and way over priced. Service extremely slow.

Very clean room, very helpful staff, unfortunately unauthorized charges to my room from downstairs restaurant in amount of 600.00. currently working with staff to mitigate. Will update review afterward.

This hotel was exceptional in every way. From the lobby to the exquisite room and amenities to the restaurant in the hotel. I cut my tenderloin steak with a fork. The rooftop lounge at sunset is a must. Would highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

The room was amazing. Any amenity you could want was available and if it wasnt in your room, it was a phone call away. The complimentary bottle of wine was unexpected and appreciated. The room was modern and tasteful, the bed was so comfortable. The only negative commebt I would have was the bar. It was beautiful and so comfortable for lounging and imbibing. But there was no coctail servers. We had to go to the bar and order. They did check on us a couple times once they brought our drinks and saw where we were sitting. It seemed the bar tenders were doing both jobs of waiting on tables. The tablets were not charged and menues were in short supply. We had the same experience when we stopped in for an after concert drink before retiring. It was even busier and harder to get service. All in all it was a great stay. We felt safe walking at night with all of the patroling security. We will be back!!
