Having to pay for parking is a bit ridiculous based on what you pay for staying at this hotel. Parking garage is not suggested for large vehicles as the entrance and exit is very narrow.

This is very nice hotel! New, clean, friendly staff, great location! Parking is $30 a night though which is crazy and the hotel key never opened the parking garage gate like it’s supposed to. Pool is in the shade most of the day because of the building design. But those are little things. Overall we were satisfied and would return.

Very nice place, clean and spacious. The only downside was we needed to do laundry and when we went down to do that, found out that it only takes quarters and we needed change and the hotel wouldn’t give us change. 3 loads was $18, who has $18 in quarters in their purse? So how are you supposed to do laundry? They need a change machine or get a CC reader on the machines. Other than that we had a nice stay.

We “upgraded” to a corner room with a “harbor” view. We were placed on the 3rd floor with an obstructed view of the harbor due to surrounding hotels. Also paid over $300/night and still had to pay $30/night for parking in the garage attached to the hotel. Didn’t feel it was worth the upgraded price…

I liked that it was relatively close to both downtown Charleston and the Shems Creek area. It was easy to go to the beaches for day trips also. The breakfast was great! And Manager's reception each night was really good also. What I didn't like was that we had to pay so much for parking every night.

We have stayed at the property numerous times, and it’s one of our favorites. The rooms are spacious & immaculately clean, as is the rest of the hotel. The location is fantastic for families. You can easily get to Mt. P, IOP, Sullivan’s, downtown. There’s a playground & splash pad within walking distance. The kids love the pool at the hotel. They also loved the daily manager’s reception every evening. They were able to get drinks & snacks while waiting for dinner. Flood in the restaurante is great, especially the hot breakfast which is included. Room service typically arrived within 20 minutes when we ordered it.

Parking fee of $30/day didn’t make sense given where the property is located - not downtown, not in a well developed business park. This will be a deterrent when contemplating future reservations for travel to Charleston.

Overall my stay here was nice. The room was comfortable. The staff was nice and helpful. The one thing that I found lacking was the housekeeping. Per hotel policy, housekeeping only comes to your room if you call ahead and order it 24hr in advance. I understand not wanting to do a full service of a room every day, but someone from staff should do a quick sweep of the room once a day to make sure each guest has enough towels, toilet paper, soap, etc. We ran out of toilet paper, soap and towels, which super inconvenient.

Facility was very nice and clean. Under staffed for sure. Some employees doing multiple jobs as others were doing nothing. Room service non existent and the parking garage can be a hassle getting in and out. They should cancel the Happy Hour or get he folks meeting and greeting folks working with the bar tenders lessen their load. Cleaning staff friendly and did a decent job. But not through. Front desk if present may be helpful and may not. Property is full of potential…. If management can pull it together.

The staff during check in was very kind and helped us change rooms when we found the original room was extremely noisy due to being next to a mechanical room. The bed in the room was probably one of the worst mattresses I have ever slept on and was harder than sleeping in the floor. We ended up putting the pullout mattress on top of the bed for a tiny bit of cushion. Parking for the hotel was $30 a night which is kind of expensive. If it wasn’t for the mattress it would be a five star review.

Very nice hotel. Breakfast was very good and coffee was shockingly excellent. Very quiet inside and out. Parking garage was a little annoying but we managed. Paid extra for harbor view and we got a strain your body off the balcony to the right side harbor view but other than that it was great. Beds were comfortable.

This was a beautifully decorated hotel with many choices for casually sitting and enjoying a drink after traveling or visiting the harbor area. The outdoor garden was very inviting and the complimentary happy hour relaxing. The bar area was a plus with many top shelf items. The staff was friendly & knowledgeable. Our suite was clean & had a harbor view as well as a view of the garden patio area below our window.

The suite we had was smaller that we have had at other locations. Awkward wall shelves make the living room impassable when the sofa bed is out. There is a lot of unnecessary furniture that made it feel smaller, a coffee table desk and three chairs in addition to the side tables. The area is nice and easy to get to. The property looked well maintained and our room was clean, however there were large groups of sports players on this visit and the public areas had trash and food scattered about. Obviously staff could not follow them around cleaning up but it was disappointing.

I was charged more than double for parking (1 vehicle), even after confirming with front desk staff that I simply had to press the "hotel" button at the parking garage in order to avoid duplicate fees. I'm now having to dispute this fraud with my bank. Terrible service provided by the front desk staff.

Upon Arrival the staff were extremely welcoming. Damielle and Tirrell were the first faces to greet me. They were incredibly friendly, attentive to the needs of my mother and made sure we knew of everything the property and the city had to offer. They followed up making sure our stay was going as it should. The property was clean, Inviting and felt luxurious. I wouldn't imagine staying anywhere else when coming to Charleston as I dont know if I would get the same quality of service and lodging Embassy Mt. Pleasant provided. My entire family who traveled from far and near enjoyed their stay just as much as I did. Well done Hilton!! The only con was our key cards not working to get into the garage. But the staff were quick to respond to our calls each time.

No staff ever smiled. At check-in the hostess didn’t want to give any info-especially about how the parking worked, she just said”it’s around back”. When the check-in line was long another person came out from the back to help guests on another terminal-he was bothered about this and rude to guests. He never looked up and muttered can I help the next guest. That seemed to be the morale of everyone there. The cooks at breakfast looked like they didn’t want to be there at all. Parking was in the parking deck at the back of the building, self parking was $25 per day. Room card never worked at the parking kiosk and it caused backups getting out of the garage. Once in the garage you took an elevator to ground level walked outside to enter Hotel and got in another elevator to go up to your room. Very inconvenient. The room was ok but the bed seemed worn. Over priced considering this hotel was in Mt pleasant not over the bridge in Charleston.

Front desk staff was condescending and rude with one exception. Ex there were 3 adults in the room and all silver members. We were given 2 waters upon arrival. I asked for another one as we were 3 and was told no. Petty. Breakfast staff was great especially the omelet crew.

This is a beautiful, clean hotel with a lot to offer and a big complimentary breakfast each morning. The cleaning staff and breakfast greeter were very nice and pleasant to us. Unfortunately we experienced unnecessary charges to my credit card and there were so many changes and credits made to my card that it made me uneasy. The front desk couldn’t tell me why all the charges and said it would resolve after check out and thankfully I THINK it did. It made my trip less enjoyable because of the random charges and credits being made during the stay and I probably will not choose to stay there again because of it. I understand when booking third party some places frown upon it. There is a parking deck which hotel guests park using the third floor and above. I didn’t realize that at the time of booking but that was my fault. It was easy to navigate, just a good bit of walking. Overall the hotel is beautiful. I love Charleston and I plan to use Expedia again for travel.

Staff was excellent, very helpful and friendly. Hotel was in lovely condition and very clean. Breakfast was excellent! Stayed with young children. Not much to walk to but a safe area with very quick drives to walkable areas in Mount Pleasant and historic Charleston.

The hotel and staff were excellent. A great place to stay if you're visiting Charleston, but don't want to stay in the madness that is downtown Charleston. Less than 10 minutes over the Ravenal Bridge and you're right into the scenic downtown area with all of the shopping and restaurants and all that history.

This Embassy suite is very new, so it is up to date. Very nice lounge/bar area, close to the bridge and harbor. I was able to have breakfast and dinner here, both were very good no complaints. The rooms are very well kept and updated, tv is large, the bed was comfortable. They do have a parking deck that is nice because its covered parking but you do have to pay per night to park.

False advertising with Happy Hour Specials. On line and in lobby of hotel screens that each day of the week offered a different special. Approached bar employees who said it was discontinued. Approached general mgr.Jason who said sites needed to be updated. I explained that this is false advertising. Nothing was honored on our behalf. Very frustrating! Front desk employees were not nice, friendly or helpful with the exception of Cheryl who went above and beyond. Reception bartender very nice and personable. Parking is overpriced at $25 per day for hotel patrons.

This was mixed with buisness and family. I got back to the hotel at 940pm was starving i called for room service they close at 10pm i keep getting bounced back to the front desk from calling room service then finally they answer at 945 and say we are closed for the evening nothing close to eat and I'm starving. Morning comes i go down for breakfast one of my favorite parts of embassy the chef tells me hes out of egg whites feeling absolutely starving from the night before I'm now upset i tell him i am going to go discuss this with the front counter i did the lady at front wanted to try to help but i felt it would escalate anger and i was in tears. I walk back over to the breakfast area and my Niece says don't enter the kitchen they have all circled and are talking bad of you now I'm real upset i go back to the front counter and tell the same lady about their actions horrible as hotel staff to act in such a way never was I re-contacted by a manager I will not recommend this hotel or will I stay here my next stay in Charleston Very dissatisfied stay
