Tru By Hilton Albuquerque North I-25

Great staff. Low on towels! Breakfast was very good. Pool a bit over-chlorinated but still thoroughly enjoyable. A fine stay.

This Tru property was not noticeably better than other “on the road hotels”. Breakfast was good. Pool was closed for maintenance. Staff was Ok. Nothing negative front m our perspective but not outstanding either.

Parking is rather limited.

Staff was great, check in was quick and easy, room was spotless, well-lit parking lot.

We thought our rooms were fine and had comfortable beds. However there’s as a dead cockroach upon arrival and the pool was closed indefinitely.

Staff was amazing! My kids loves the pool table.

Area in the parking lot was well lit. I was in the process of moving and had valuables in my car which I was concerned about. I was pleased to see a security car checking out the property several times.

We walked in with all of our luggage to no carts. Asked and staff said all are in use. We proceeded to go to the elevators and we were stopped by staff saying BOTH elevators are broken!!! Had to walk up stairs with heavy luggage. I sure hope no handicapped people are stranded!!

Overall, we liked our stay here. The facility was nice, clean, and modern. The rooms were small, but workable. The fitness center was small, but had all of the basics one would need. Location hotel was okay, not very walkable, but close to highway.

Not clean - hallway on first floor smelt like sewer- ripped shade that would not roll up - room phone didn’t work - was told we could not be moved to another room because we booked with a 3 rd party -

I loved the property. So clean and up to date! The bathroom was large. It was an unexpected surprise. The only thing that wasn't perfect was the maids in the hallway were loudly talking when we first got there, but it didn't bother us. We will stay again.

Staff seemed a bit bored. Horrible toilet paper. Thermostat works??? Not. Shower head very disgusting. Shower floor dirty.

The check in was not the best. Clerk had us wait while she did something on the computer. Shower was dirty. Not having a way to make a hot drink was very inconvenient. This was our first stay in a Tru hotel. And our last.

Clean rooms. Nice and modern and great complementary breakfast.

The shower was dirty and stained, and there was a roach in the shower. The A/C in the room did not work properly, so the room was hot. The guests above us were loud and stomped their feet for hours. The refrigerator made a weird noise that sounded like someone was coming into the door of our room. During checkout we spoke with another guest who also found a roach in their shower. Staff was laxadsical and didn't care.

Overall, it was a good place to stay. However, if you are a hot nature person I would recommend staying somewhere else where the AC will go down past 74.

Room was clean upon on arrival. No issues on the way there. I did have an issue with WiFi connecting to the room. Management did not help me that issue either

THE TV WOULD NOT TURN ON, AND REPORTED IT TO FRONT DESK. SO HAD NO TV!

Room was small. Breakfast was great. Recommended as a nice, convenient and CLEAN place to lay your head.

No frig in room!! Very disappointed. When I called front desk they said they could not put on in???

We only had the room cleaned once, but it was nicely cleaned. It would have been more helpful to have had a microwave in the room. I suffer from very bad allergies to smells and have to warm water so I can do a sinus rinse but did not want to go to the lobby to use the microwave. Also a clock and coffee maker. So for this reason I probably will not be staying at Tru by Hilton when visiting Albuquerque again.

AC was locked to 74°F which was unpleasant. Was too late to bother saying anything by time we woke up in a sweat at 3am and tried to adjust it. Room was fairly small but was clean and fresh.

Really good amenities...BUT local channels only? Really not even basic cable? Very disheartening for the kind of price to stay there. We got the king size bed and we literally had to turn on a dime to get around. You see the Hilton name and you assume the best as for us.one and done.

The two girls sitting at reception looked annoyed that we were interrupting their looking at their phones. They told us we couldn't get bottled water even though the people ahead of us received 2 bottles. When we asked why we can't get water she said only "elite" can get water. I can down later to get hot water for tea and the water was cold. I told thhe receptionist that and she just shrugged her shoulders. I asked if their was a microwave and she motioned somewhere in back of her. Next morning I came down for breakfast. The coffee was luke warm. I looked over at the receptionist and she was eating a bowl of cereal while sitting at the front desk! I have never seen a receptionist at a hotel eating while sitting at the front desk. All and all I got the impression we were bothering them. Elevator was broke and hot tub not working. Pretty pathetic!

Asked twice for someone to come fix cooler , nobody showed and when I reported it the am the front desk literally act like she didn’t care

I had to wait 10-15 minutes at the front desk to check in, because no one was there. There was a note stating they were helping a guest & back soon. Once there, the girl checking me in accidentally charged me for the room i had already paid for. Unpacking & reloading the car was a bit awkward, as the drive way in front of the hotel is sloped. Odd. And, giant concrete balls, similar to what you see at Target, but larger, lined the entry to the hotel, making it somewhat difficult to maneuver luggage onto the bag trolley. Once in our room, we turned the A/C on. The thermostat blinked for a couple minutes & no A/C came on. I called the front desk to inquire about the AC, no one answered. I called 3-4 times & no answer. However, after 10 more minutes the AC came on & we then settled in. The sheets on my bed were a little worn, where the fabric had pilled & felt bumpy. The next morning, while packing up, & watching the news, the TV blacked out & would not come back on. I believe poor internet connection. When we checked out in the morning, i dropped my rm key. The woman at the front desk was not very friendly, but did half-heartedly say, “have a nice day.” Overall, an OK stay, but nothing to rave about.

When trying to check in on Sunday, Michael the front desk attendant, was very unpleasant, he did not listen to anything I said, wouldn’t check me in because the booking was under my husbands first name and not mine. Once my husband went inside to check in he asked to speak to the manager, Michael stated, “There was no manager on duty and that he had the right to refuse service to anyone and I refuse service to you!” Michael is the Karen of the service industry. We had asked for a manager because we canceled our room on Friday due to a logistic issue with our trucking company, we called well in advance of the 24 hour rule for cancelation and was advised by a woman at the hotel that we would be charged on Saturday and then to book for Sunday and they would transfer the money to our room for Sunday night. We also have all of this on record with Hotels.com, but Michael instead of communicating and trying to assist was better and just refusing service. Save yourself the headache- book a different hotel!

Blackout curtain was non-existant. outside lights shining into room. poorly maintained room. no help from front desk and the manager, Omar Canales not available. No resolution. Would not recommend.

Staff was very nice and room was clean and comfortable.

Not in a very safe area of town. 10 mins at property and already had security and police involved with someone at desk.

Clean..but homeless people around asking for money every time we left the hotel

Good location to restaurants.

The place is clean and nice. We were awakened at night by the loud noises on I-25. I would ask for a room on the otherside of the hotel if possible.

When I like the most about this property is the easy accessibility to I 25. I like how close it is to several restaurants but also very quiet. I really like that. I can also be close by to San Mateo where there are tons of restaurants and shopping options. Overall, this is a great hotel to stay at.

I like this area because it was right off of the interstate which made it easy to access I-25.

Very convenient mid-town location near main roads and highways, making it a short drive to all locations in Albuquerque. 24-hour staff quickly answering last-minute needs also a plus.

This was the closest to the Lovelace Womens Hospital.

The parking was great, plenty of lighting. Great restaurants all around the area.

Breakfast was fresh and good lots to choose from!

The breakfast was really nice. There were a lot of options, including oatmeal, fresh fruit, cereal, pancakes, eggs, and bacon muffins bagels English muffins it was great.

The staff were very friendly and courteous, the room was clean, but the breakfast in the morning wasn’t really appetizing. My cereal was stale and the eggs were still cold, it’s best to go out for breakfast.

This hotel was very clean, good breakfast and the bed/pillows were comfy!

Check in a little slow. Person servicing breakfast bar didn’t speak English so could not respond. No Coffee; no cups; out of most food items. Terrible.

THE BREAKFAST WAS SO FUNNY, THEY JUST SAYING ITS BREAK FAST. THERE WAS NOTHING TO EAT. INSTED OF BLACK COFFEE.

Clean room friendly staff and great breakfast

Room was clean Initial check in was great PM, AM Hostess staff was ok, breakfast server couldn't speak English, so the out-of-stock breakfast items requested was just a wasted effort, Hostess wasn't around at that point either. Tues, Wed, Thurs no OJ Tues and Wed no Pancakes Tues no butter Parking is tight around the building, lots of spaces available for Hilton members though.

The room was good. When we went for breakfast there was nothing great to eat. No more milk, the pancake maker was out of order, the oatmeal was not tasty, no more bread products, the juice was watery, and when we asked the employees for more of the food items they informed us that they had no more and they were out.
