after spending all day on the softball field all my kids wanted to do was jump in the pool to cool off. The pool was green on a Saturday and they only excuse was maintenance don't work weekends. Breakfast was a joke if you don't eat eggs or cereal. Everything was broken. Elevator was broken and only one for use.....isn't this a new hotel? Everyone kept saying call corporate if you don't like your stay here...out of 4 key cards we could only get 1 to the room to work. to access the other others all the batteries in the doors was dead we was told and to use another route

Great area, clean and quite However we booked for the pool! End of June and the pool was shut down! Over 90 degrees outside Maybe post this on your site so people know before booking

Great location. Need security to patrol property. Six vehicles got broken into during my stay.

Hotel was well maintained with a fantastic staff. Easy in and out to the highways. The pool was green and closed and breakfast although good was served only from 6:30 to 9:30.

I appreciated that the property was clean. I didn't have any problems with my room. The only thing that was unacceptable was the fact that pool was NOT available. It had not been inspected by the health dept yet. This was not mentioned in Expedias site when booking. I will be reaching out for compensation.

Only thing is that the pool was unable to be used at our time of stay. Water was green. There was no sign saying pool was not accessible but it did not look good.

The pool was down during my stay and the bathtub drainage was lacking. Otherwise all went very well...efficient service, clean, safe and secure, tasty breakfast and location very near all that was needed.

The drain was clogged in our bathroom and the only outside security door working was in the front. The security door by the pool did not work as well as the side doors. So if you were at the pool you had to walk around the building to get in. Staff was friendly and breakfast was good.

The room was very clean! The breakfast area clean and very good selection. Staff was friendly. We were disappointed that there was no restaurant on site and no nearby recommendations were offered. Since we didn’t know the area there should be recommendations available.also could not use pool as it was filled with algae and green water.

Dingy interiors. Dirty towels. Front desk staff manager was really rude, ignoring guests. I had a late check out and that was confirmed upon check in yet the staff kept harassing me, calling, and sending housekeeping up to bother me saying that the manager refuses to let me have a late check out. Really unprofessional. Location however is good.

Truly disappointing. Upon check in, the front staff was too busy chatting about personal matters/wedding dress shopping.united eye contact and very distracted. The pamphlet in the key holder said “due to safety, the cleaning staff only cleans the room every 5 days.” Ummmm… gross. Arrived to the room to get settled in and take a shower, no body wash. Called down to report this, no body wash was filled. Two days later still no body wash. The carpets were filthy and stains on the couch and chairs. The pool didn’t look sanitary at all, and there were unattended bathing suits laid out on the lounge chairs. It looked like frat pool. The “continental breakfast” was supposed to be until 10:00am.. 9:45, they were out of EVERYTHING, not stocking anything, staff was eating with the kitchen door open and just said pancake, waffle and juice machine were broken. There was NO coffee left. The next morning, at 8:45, The sausage was white/grey, eggs tasted like water (clearly powered eggs) gravy tasted like pure flour and they were out of nearly everything. No coffee again. Upon check out, there was no “thank you for your stay” or “we appreciate your stay” or anything at all.. just a woman at the front that said “okay, bye”. Right outside on the benches of at the entrance, a group of folks were highly intoxicated and drinking with visible liquor bottles and chain smoking cigarettes. People are free to do what they please, but Please not right outside.

The room was very clean and comfortable front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Hotel seems either new or newly renovated; very clean room and dining area and lobby. Great continental breakfast. Close proximity to both Charlotte Airport and Fort Mill area (where our family lives(. Also, great rooms; best hotel shower we've ever had!

Check in was seamless. Fast and efficient. Room is very comfortable. Pretty clean, but could have done a little better in the bathroom. Overall, very good.

We arrived at the Holiday inn Express planning to stay two nights. Changed our minds and only stayed one because: 1. the room had only the desk chair. The corner was empty of any chair, but had a hanging reading light. 2.But it wouldn’t turn on, I think the receptacle was faulty. 3. Had to iron a shirt in the morning before our appointment, but the iron was caked with burnt on fabric. Took it to the desk to get another, but the associate at the desk could not find one. Went to the appointment in wrinkled clothes. 4. I know rooms sometimes need upkeep, so I can overlook some issues. The caulking at the floor of the shower really needs fixed, as did the shower doors( they scraped on something when opening and closing. Breakfast was fine, bed was comfortable, so not everything was negative. I know there was no sense making complaints at the desk, they are just doing their job. Holiday Inn needs to be better at this location; we’ve stayed at others in other cities and have not had any issues. So we paid for two nights and only stayed one…… frustrating.

Our experience was excellent, the hotel services was great the only thing from 11:30 pm onwards the guests made too much noise and it was impossible to sleep so we decided to leave the room.

The back card entry did not work and I was locked out. There was no cleaning service for the room - apparently you had to get a card for it from the front desk which I never got. The wifi password system didn't work - had to call down to the front desk to get it. The hotel walls were touched up with paint that did not match.

Had to change rooms at 10:30 night due to lound music. Tried for 2 hours to get them to stop. Front desk tried but was not successful.

Nice hotel. I liked the complimentary breakfast and the proximity to the interstate, restaurants, and Topgolf. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. I didn't like the beds (not very comfortable in my opinion and felt like there were bed bugs), and the noise coming from surrounding rooms sometimes (sounded like kids running/stomping around or something). There was also no guide for the TV channels. Overall, not necessarily a bad stay but I don't think I'd return. I didn't

Large, updated, quiet rooms with a comfortable bed and pillows. Easy check in and out and excellent free breakfast buffet options. The pool area looked really nice but it was raining and too cold so we didn’t use the facilities.

8/10 Smelled like weed and TV was supposed to be a smart TV but could not get any apps like Netflix on it. Front desk people were very kind. Newer hotel that is very clean and well mantained.

We were in town for the Metallica concert at Bank of America stadium. We did not want to drive home after wards so we booked a room well in advance. It was a very nicehotel. Bed & pillows were very comfortable.Room very clean. Breakfast good also.

I checked in during a power outage. Myself and others were told that if we decided to check in and go to dinner, the power should be back on with a couple hours. To offset the inconvenience, we were told that night would be free. At checkout, my bill was for the full amount, and the staff are insisting that they didn’t say what I know they said. I was on a work trip and was very late getting to sleep because it took hours for the AC to cool the room back down. Everybody was very nice throughout the process until I asked for my bill to be corrected. I think the managers present went beyond their authority and had to back down the offer. Their version is that they only said that to people already checked in, which makes no sense because I was standing there with luggage and had obviously just arrived.

My stay was great.. Customer service was awesome.

Reservation was cancelled withno phone call. Claimed the reservation card was declined. When asked what card the number wasn't even from a card i owned. Unprofessional and will never return.

I have stayed at this hotel a few times. I am always pleased with my stay & staff. On 8/16/25 the day of my check in, the system went down. Customers were hot & aggravated. What I saw in the front desk staff was assertiveness, kindness & great customer service in a difficult situation. Great job ladies 🙌 Jailyn & Layla

Excellent customer service from the gentleman that was at the front desk. He was kind and made my check in seamless. All throughout my stay ALL the staff spoke to me which was nice. I will definitely return on my next visit back to Charlotte.

Only had 1 towel in room and they wouldn't bring up more. "You can come get them if you need more" said front desk.

The hotel was excellent from checkin, the room, the breakfast. The front desk staff from Gigi and Sharay were the best. We had an issue with the assigned room( which was already occupied for some reason) and Gigi immediately took care of the situation. She upgraded us which was not necessary, but appreciated. Our plans changed and we needed to return to the hotel a day earlier than expected and was glad they had availability. The breakfast variety each morning was outstanding. When returning to this area, this is the only place we would stay. Debra and Eric Abramson.

Good, clean hotel right off 485. Everything was perfect for a one night stay on a trip heading north. Several good restaurants within a 6-7 min drive. Definitely recommend.

Loved the cleanliness of the hotel. The breakfast was decent (expected). Located right beside Top Golf, it was well-lit and I felt safe coming & going by myself. Don’t love the location for food options (just one exit away), but nothing super close or walking distance.

Easy check-in , Clean room and a great breakfast

I always stay here when I come to Charlotte. The bed is always comfortable and the rooms are always clean. Breakfast this time wasnt that good. The pancake machine was broken. That's my fav part of breakfast. Hopefully itll be fixed when I return!

Didn’t compare to the location Chatham parkway in Savannah. Savannah had nice Dove hand soap and cream pumps aside from in the shower. There was scrambled eggs offered however their pancake machine wasn’t working as was the case with charlotte's location…humm. Charlotte’s location also didn’t have any eggs because they “were out of eggs”. It appeared to me in charlotte that it was a matter of not wanting to wash the egg serving tray and pancake/waffle machine thereby putting a sign up “ops….not working”. This to me is sheer laziness in my opinion. Especially with charlotte’s location. Come on…out of eggs? The beds in charlotte’s location were not as comfortable as the savannahs location as well.

I felt safe and it was not in a congested area. Woke up to a nice view outside. Had a full course and a delicious breakfast prepared.

Clean rooms and overall property. Good breakfast. Impressed overall. Would stay again. Great value.
