Great location, secure parking, very clean hotel

I didn’t like the parking garage

Rooms are very nice and clean, but very expensive. Parking setup is horrible. Expensive to park in the hotel garage that isn’t even attached to the hotel. You have to get 2 parking slips each and every day from the front desk just to get in and out of the garage each and every time you come and go, very confusing and frustrating.

Great location across the street from The NASCAR Hall of Fame, The Convention Center, Whole Foods, and lots of restaurants. Great breakfast. The pool and workout facility are small but adequate. The rooms were comfortable and nice and modern. I made a mistake on my reservation and the front desk staff was amazing, understanding and fixed it for me. It wasn’t an easy thing. THEN I was walking out of the hotel to go to a meeting and the young lady that had helped me was leaving work. She recognized me out in the sidewalk and addressed me by name and asked if everything was working out. So personable even when she was off the clock.

Great hotel for the price. Clean rooms and property. Convenient location to the stadium and other attractions in the uptown area. Breakfast service is very good. Elevators can be slow at times

Parking was difficult to navigate. Locked gates prevented us from going to the level we were required to park in.

I really liked how big the rooms were, the safety of needing a card to go up to the rooms, the 3ft pool on the 2nd floor was great for the children. It was convenient in location most of the activities were in walking distance. The breakfast menu for the weekend I went was pretty good. Overall great stay, the only thing I didn't care for was the bedding.The mattress and pillows weren't at the most quality compared to other hotels I've stayed. It felt like a cruise cabin bedroom.

We loved the location and closeby amenities. We did not love the lobby being on the second floor of the buildling, nor did we love moving from the parking structure to the hotel building.

Place was VERY HARD TO FIND. CHECK IN AND PARKING WAS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!

Everythng was great but I did not like that i had to pay an additional parking fee to park in the garage and get a new slip to get out the parking garage every time.

Rooms surprisingly spacious, clean and comfortable. Good staff. Parking & building entry a tad trifling but sufficient. Terrific location.

There was a very weird smell right off the elevator on our floor. Other than that, great stay.

The sheets have balls on them, which is just a sign if a poorly maintained hotel.

Nice to have free parking almost attached to the hotel. I should have done my homework so I'd have known to go somewhere that's NOT pet friendly, I could smell dog and cleaner in my room. Also, a corner room on 8th floor was SO LOUD....cars/bikes racing down the road til 3-4am. I'm a light sleeper and didn't get more than 6 or 7 hours (TOTAL) in the 3 nights I was there. Staff was friendly and place was clean.

The team was amazing. Not only was a the hotel exceptionally clean and well maintained, but I watched Terrance, perform a good and complicated deed for someone on the phone while simultaneously checking in multiple people will full care and attention. 10 out of 10.

I can’t be more than happy, one if not the first hotel that I ever stayed at that it was impeccable, I always carry Clorox and Lysol to clean the bathroom and furniture areas for my kids and also spray Lysol on the sheets for extra protection but I didn’t need to in this hotel (I did it anyway to have a peace of mind) I meet Maria the lady that cleans the suites and ask her for an extra paper towel since I forgot to bring one and I did thank her personally for her hard work and of course I tipped her when I check out, I’m definitely staying here again, this was a Father’s Day gift to watch Real Madrid live and my family enjoyed the game and the stayed at the hotel. The hotel staff is top notch. Had a wonderful check in and check out experience. The cleanest hotel room I have ever stayed in too. Excellent experience.

The room and bathroom were really clean. Parking was a bit of a pain however the staff was just so nice and welcoming made sure the parking was clear and taken care of even when the assigned decks filled up. Great service is rare these days sadly so I really love to go places where I know I will be treated well and this is definitely on my list now . We've. When we woke up and had different staff they were friendly as well.

Easy and quick check-in. The staff were super nice and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable.

Our room was very clean. AC worked good. Beds were uncomfortable, sofa bed was old and worn. Adjoining room was loud several times in the middle of the night and early am hours. Parking is absolutely ridiculous. Having to validate tickets every time in and out with your car seems extreme. I've stayed at other Home 2 Suites and this one was disappointing. Breakfast was done very well daily with Megan. Exceptionally clean and efficient.

Room was very nice, spacious and comforting. Parking took a minute to find as the sign was small, but we worked it out.

It sounded like someone was lifting and dropping weights right above our room until midnight every night.

King room was LARGE! Bed was too soft so we had to put on floor to avoid backaches. Staff was friendly and very supportive. Parking ws difficult at times but hotel was able to provide an alternative that was acceptable. I would stay again

The room was awesome and nice size.

This was perfect for our stay across the street from the Charlotte convention center. We needed to be close to the Eucharistic Congress. I only wish we could have stayed here longer, but we arrived just before midnight. We are a family of four and the pullout couch for the suite was perfect. This space was clean, spacious and very comfortable. I was shocked at how well stocked in the kitchen was with everything we needed. To top it off this breakfast in the morning was hands-down the very best breakfast we have ever had in all of our hotel stays. I still can’t believe it was included. Everybody at the buffet that morning was saying the same thing. We hope to book our stay for next year as soon as we know the dates of the next Congress. Congratulations to the staff at the Home 2 suites Hilton.

Extremely noisy, could hear a lot from other rooms and the hall. Staff at check in was great. After that the desk acted like we were bothersome ( we approached about 3 times over 4 days).

Solid option for business travel. Upgraded pay-per-day wifi is definitely necessary to do fairly fundamental work online. Very friendly, responsive staff.

Everything was great. Only two things come to mind to bring up. 1. WiFi set up did not work for me. Front desk could not fix the problem and said it could be due to the fact I booked through Hotels.com. 2. The TV had no signal most of my stay. Couldn't watch anything when I was in the room.

Started with Tina , who checked me in and out!!! She is absolutely amazing and deserves recognition for superior service!! Was there for marathon and she deserves major praise!!! The whole hotel staff was awesome and property was very clean and breakfast was incredible too!! Highly recommend and will definitely stay again for next year marathon!! Thanks a lot!!!!

The night staff at this location were beyond helping in solving our booking issues. Unfortunately the entire city of Charlotte was completely booked the night our flight got cancelled, but the staff went to great lengths to ensure we had somewhere to stay. Beyond grateful for this team and their dedication to their people!!! The hotel room in itself was also immaculate as it was a suite with a kitchen, beautiful bathroom, pull out sofa, and bedroom area. The room was spotless and very comfortable for our unplanned stay. Highly recommend!!!

They gave our room away even though I booked a month before and had to scramble for a new room at midnight after driving 12 hours through a snow storm

Advertising led us to believe that the hotel provided a "voucher" for the $30/night parking. No - they charged it to the room and gave out a barcode to open the gate and not insert a credit card in the parking garage. Then, despite our explaining (extensively) which room to charge the parking to, they charged it to the wrong room and then argued that they had done it correctly. The front desk (Tina and some guy wearing a badge that said "Queen Diva") were rude and argumentative about this parking charge situation. The rooms were fine, the breakfast so-so but edible but the staff are pretty bad. LOL - the second day we were there housekeeping came to our door at 5:15p.m. to see about cleaning our room. Why didn't they do that at normal hours? IDK - but we've never had that at a hotel before.

Great service and staff. Tina at reception is excellent!

Overall, this was a fine hotel. Rooms were comfortable, kitchenette was well stocked, refrigerator worked. Service was spotty: I experienced both excellent customer service (Tina) and poor customer service.

We enjoyed our stay at Home2 uptown Charlotte. Tina took amazing care of us from start to finish. She is friendly and helpful. The room was big and had everything we could need. Thank you for hiring Tina. She is wonderful.

The room was amazing and perfect for my week long conference. Then when I had flight issues at the end of the week Tina and Terrence were so helpful and worked with me as I ironed out the issues. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Great stay…affordable downtown stay that’s close to many amenities.

I stayed for 2 nights and I was very happy with my stay. The hotel is clean and quiet and the location is great! The staff are very nice and helpful.

This property was fine for what I needed. Close to the convention center.

The hotel was located either downtown and we were able to walk to coffee shops and restaurants. We attended a football game at the stadium at the location was excellent.

Great location if you are working at the convention center or attending a sporting event! The room is huge and comfortable. The area around the hotel is an easy walk with tons of dining options.

Great location- right near NASCAR Hall of Fame and only blocks from Museum of Illusions. Nice, new hotel with clean, comfortable rooms for a fair rate. Parking garage was well marked and easy too. My only complaint was the lobby breakfast closed a bit early.

Right across from NASCAR National Hall of Fame in Uptown, very convenient. Share the same parking lot with Whole Foods. I like Home2Suites, since you can heat up your food in the microwave, and there are kitchen utensils, although I didn't use them for the trip.

Your breakfast was the worst. Sorry I expected more. If I come to stay there and it says breakfast included I expect scrambled eggs your sausage was terrible your bacon was terrible. I spent 80 dollars at other restaurants that I should’ve not had to do.

The property front door was hard to find, better instructions on the website would be great. The breakfast was often cold, the fruit looked horrible and the staff person both mornings, just looked like they would rather be anywhere but where they were. We have stayed at other Home 2 Suites and loved our stay. The breakfast was a real downer and the lack of staff that know how to smile brought the whole experience down. Not what we are used to.

I would definitely stay here again. It’s right next to Whole Foods and right across the street from the convention center. Everyone was super friendly and it felt cleaner than normal hotels. It shares a parking deck with Whole Foods. I had a really hard time finding the entrance to the upper decks where I needed to park for the hotel (levels 3 and 4). I ended up having to pay the Whole Foods parking deck fee because I parked there and went to check in. At check in they told me I needed to move my car which was fine but I ended up having to pay the parking fee (only $5) and struggled for about 15 min driving around to find the small ramp for the hotel. I really feel like the parking and hotel itself is not labeled clearly enough. Other than that, my only other sore area was breakfast. The waffles were excellent, but the lobby was PACKED each morning, there are only two waffle irons in a super congested area, and they take over two minutes to make each one. I feel like the waffle irons need to move to an area with more room and there need to be more of them if the process is going to take so long. I was a little disappointed that multiple food options were out each morning. The staff was working super hard, but they just couldn’t keep up with the volume of food and people. The process to warm up the food needs to be streamlined or there needs to be more staff working breakfast. It’s not like the hotel doesn’t know how many people are booked. Also, the elevators take FOREVER.

Overall. I really enjoyed my stay as the place exceeded my expectations but the breakfast and its variety definitely set me up for a successful day.

Great, healthy choices for breakfast!

Property seemed to be sold out which made for longer lines at breakfast. Still the staff worked hard to keep things stocked and lines moving. They were constantly busy and helpful given the crowds they had to work around. Great job!

We stayed here for two days for a concert. It was very convenient to the stadium. The staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast was pretty good. I also felt like the room was clean and comfortable.

The breakfast options were fantastic! When people are done eating the staff needs to clean off the tables or leave a rag for guests to use. The pull out sofa bed mattress is comfy, but the comforter is hard and scratchy. It would be nice to replace the bed and sofa comforter with something softer. The lobby was difficult to find, better signage would help on the 1st floor. It was overall a great place to stay. It's right across the street from the Nascar Hall of Fame and a short walk to the Bank of America stadium.
