Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Santa Fe

Hotel was nice, the pool was drained out on our third night there which was a bit of a disappointment, but it was overall a great hotel

Mostly ok. All entrances didn’t work except the main one so had to walk around the entire hotel to enter. Keys quit working each day so we had to have the front desk reprogram them every day. Floor in room had a couple of sticky places (like someone dropped a waffle with syrup) and room service refused to clean it and kept taking the towels we laid over them. Breakfast options were hot and plentiful and included. Big plus! Other than the carpet, the room was very clean. Front staff was very friendly.

It was our second stay at this hotel. It is a good option overall. Somehow the pool was freezing this time around.

Overall, a decent stay - large greenery wrap around the properly dulling noises and making space more intimate. Staff was welcoming and very hardworking. Obvious decor improvements being undergone as of Spring ‘25. Room was clean, nice TV and furnishings. Breakfast was a fine set up and staff there was particularly friendly. Only real frustration was the pool area. The pool was clean and very nice, the hot tub had ugly water and smelled a little rank.

Hot tub didn't work. Ice machine was broke. No hand soap in the bathroom. No soap in the shower.

The pool and the outdoor seating area with the fireplace were not working due to electrical issues. I was there visiting family and we were not able to enjoy the amenities which were advertised and attracted me to spend more to stay here.

The property was average, the location is a bit of an issue....also the swimming pool look a bit dirty and so did the hot tub.

Car was broken into and no cameras were located on the side of building. Cameras should be all around.

Excellent 1 night stay while on business. Very clean and comfortable room. Fitness center nicer than most and I love that it was 24 hours. Will stay here again!

Room dated but clean. Minor issues in room. Refrigerator missing a leg and sink stopper messed up. Jacuzzi was out of order indoor pool smelled of strong chlorine Breakfast good.

Comfy bed and pillows. Very clean room and bathroom. Friendly, helpful service. Good breakfast choices. Second time stying there and will plan on staying there the next trip to Santa Fe.

Front desk was awesome. Noticed hotel could be cleaner. Dusty chairs in dining and wads of hair on lower window ledge and windows filthy. Also bathroom sink wouldn’t drain and outlet not working in bath. Room 132. Overall hotel needs touches/upgrade.

We stayed for 3 nights. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious for a hotel, clean, and plenty of linens. We would definately stay there again.

Staff was great. The hot water NEVER got hot. It was luke warm at best. The hotel in general was run down. Carpets were stained and dirty. We found a flea in our bed.

This hotel is relatively new! The surrounding area is well looked after. The room was SUPER CLEAN! and very quiet at night time. The breakfast was good too as a complementary one and the staff very friendly.

The hotel is newer. The staff was cordial. The breakfast was good. The pool was clean. We stayed 6 nights and our room wasn’t cleaned once.

The room was dirty and had food crumbs and hair on the bed. The bathroom shower is very slippery. You have to ask for milk when at breakfast. I found bedbug signs just nothing live at the time.

Property seems run down and they are not doing a good job with cleaning. Housekeeping only changed towels, never made the bed. Pool area was dirty, pool towels as well.

The air conditioner in one of the rooms wasn’t working and maintenance wasn’t available to fix. couldn’t move rooms because had heavy coolers.

Everything was so clean and new. Best place we stayed in vacation.

The ventilation system is dreadful. A fan ran continuously during our stay & was annoying at night when trying to sleep. The room was never quiet!

this is a decent but not outstanding fairfield. the rooms are nice. the main problem was the internet. when it worked, it was very difficult to get into their wifi--the popup for the service would not appear. it also would drop to very low and noticeably laggy speeds especially in the evening. then, on the second day, the wifi failed. it wasn't fixed until the third day. when it went out, the television also would not work.

A very nice hotel with a fatal flaw - the ventilation system is the loudest I’ve ever known. It’s in the bedrooms (not bathrooms), and cannot be controlled by guests (or indeed by the hotel, or so the front desk told me). I thought I could sleep anywhere, but not here, and we had to move out after one awful night. Maybe our rooms (2nd floor) were particularly bad, But until the ventilation system is fixed, I’d advise anyone to find an alternative hotel.

Very nice rooms with very comfortable beds.

The room was beautiful and clean. But an exhaust fan ran continuously not only making noise but blowing cold air into the room. The front desk said there was no way of turning it off, and all rooms have it. Other guests were upset as well. Take ear plugs if you stay there.

While the property itself and our room were nice, our overall experience fell short due to a series of service-related challenges. I want to emphasize that this feedback is offered in the spirit of helping improve the guest experience, as we had higher expectations based on your reputation. When we first checked into our room, we noticed a persistent knocking sound. Initially, we thought it might be the headboard moving due to our proximity to the elevator. We reached out to the front desk and were assured maintenance would take a look while we were out for the day. Unfortunately, when we returned, the noise was still present. The next morning, we brought it up again with a different front desk clerk, who was quite curt with us. We explained that the noise was disruptive to our sleep and suggested maintenance take another look, but also noted we would be open to moving rooms if necessary. It became apparent later that the noise was likely a mechanism from the elevator hitting the wall. Despite our requests, no one came to inspect the issue. By the third day, we asked to be moved, as the noise had become untenable. However, we were informed that the hotel was fully booked and a room change would not be possible until check-outs the following day. Spending another night with this issue was frustrating, particularly as it could have been resolved earlier with more attentive service.

The way I was welcomed by Rosio, I felt as though I was staying in her own home! Her positive attitude and never hesitating to answer any of the myriad of questions that came her way! If management doesn’t cultivate the precious resource she is, it would be a colossal failure! Conversely, the area that the hotel is located in, is not the safest in Santa Fe, although this is really not the fault of the hotel, it’s just reality. Several good restaurants are located nearby, but I would not recommend walking to any of them, and I once lived in Santa Fe!

From check in to when I left, every member of staff was absolutely wonderful! Special mention of the Front Desk Clerk, Rosio, (I sure hope I got her name correct!) who made me feel like I was staying in her own home! She never hesitated to answer any of the myriad of questions that came her way! If the management doesn’t cultivate her talent, then you’ve made a serious error in judgment. The positive attitude she showed is definitely one of the reasons I will happily continue to stay at Fairfield!

We had a reservation and when my wife and daughter and granddaughter arrived to check in, the woman at the front desk told them they GAVE THE ROOM AWAY and I quote "there's nothing I can do above it " .Terrible service...instead of helping them get a room..she tells them there's nothing I can do about it...We will never stay there again

Property was clean, rooms are nice, breakfast was good and bed was comfortable. Only problem we had was front desk not answering and no one being up front in the mornings. We had neighbors that were figting at 2 am for about an hour. We kept calling front desk so they could do something about it and no one ever answered (I called about 10 times). When I went to the front desk in the morning and asked why they no one answers the phone over night the clerk seemed very uninterested and said they do night inventory so they dont hear the phone. Signs clearly state 24/7 front desk. Check in front desk clerk was very nice but the young lady in the mornings definitely needs some customer service training.

In general the stay was fine for the price point with one major problem- our key cards would not unlock our door, for our entire 2 day stay. And even more concerning- employees seemed entirely uninterested in solving this problem. At our request they printed us new keycards, determined the receiver on the door was the problem and let us in. But we had to get someone to let us in each time we wanted to enter - on the 4th floor. They said they'd have housecleaning replace the battery- they didn't even try to enter or clean. Maintenance never showed. And reception never offered us another room, and never acted on our request to move rooms. Multiple employees. Is it really unreasonable to expect that we could enter and leave our room? Because they sure acted like it was.

Property itself was great. Desk staff was not very friendly. Definitely not the experience I’m come to enjoy from Marriott properties.

I was so upset. They automatically charged my card and before you knew it I had a charge of $480. They kept telling me it was for incidentals. When I called about these again after talking to someone at the property two times, they had the nerve to hang up on me not once but twice.

Jefferson is an amazing employee. Veey helpfull and great people skills. Our check-in was smooth and fast. He went the extra mile and helpes us get permission to oark our motorcycle's right outside the main entrance. We will definetly be stayi g there on our futurectrips.

This hotel is average. The parking is not well lit and did not seem safe.

Meow Wolf is very close by.

Even the guys who worked there parked their cars right in front. No security cameras and very sketchy surroundings.

This hotel is in a not very enticing part of town--all big roads and shopping malls--and this Fairfield Inn cannot match the one in Flagstaff. But it's reasonably priced and reliable.

Spent two nights at this hotel. The location is good, about 10 minutes away from downtown Santa Fe. The hotel was clean and the free breakfast was reasonable but had very limited choices (and potatoes were undercooked). Handicap parking was limited to two spaces and the rest of the parking area was a bit crowded. Would suggest that they have coffee carafes available throughout the day for guests. Only time they have coffee is during breakfast time. Overall it was a good place to stay.

Inconvenient location. Folks were nice at the hotel, but the location is far from anything one would want to visit.

This hotel was well kept both inside and out. The rooms were clean and spacious. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable and the breakfast was good. There were some homeless people around the area that we uncomfortable.

We loved the location. The property was clean, beds were comfortable and staff was extremely friendly.

Front desk staff was exceptional. Breakfast was terrible!

Room was noisy at night due to heat/air blowers constantly running. At breakfast they ran out of milk, yogurt and other items well before the end of designated time and weren't making any effort to get more.

Went down to breakfast at 9:05am - no waffle mix, no eggs, no breakfast meat left. Front desk gal was rude and said they don't make the waffle mix this close to closing! The web site and signage says breakfast is from 6:30am to 9:30am. When I pursued the issue, she said they were waiting for the breakfast truck. A gentleman at the desk asked for housekeeping and she replied that they probably didn't have time to do it today!! She was the only employee in the whole place apparently. Terrible ending to an otherwise lovely weekend in Santa Fe.

Adequate hotel, service not great. Breakfast really lacking. Nobody was around and key elements were missing. Bed was creaky and not very comfortable. Shower was great.

Fairly nice place. Only downside was breakfast. Many items were out and not replenished. Very messy and not cleaned up.

When you pay $195 for a room you expect a decent breakfast - which we did not get. We went down for breakfast at 7:30 am to find that they were out of everything, no more eggs, burritos, or coffee. They didn't even offer a waffle maker, never have butter (?!), and couldn't find S&P. We had to ask several times for something, finally offered something. I don't know if they had an early run on the food or what, but it was subpar at best. They should have been prepared to quickly restock the items as they ran out!

We came to Santa Fe for a couple of days for a fun little vacation. This hotel was wonderful! The check in was easy, and the front desk worker was very nice. The room was clean. The bathroom was clean. I didn’t hear a lot of noise from the hallway or other rooms like I do in a lot of hotels. The breakfast was also nice with a lot of good options to choose from. I would definitely come back.

Fairfield was clean. Staff friendly and they had a decent hot breakfast. They were very accomodating. We used the indoor pool and hot tub a few night. Our day was great.
