Hotel was very nice. The only thing I wish I knew before booking was the parking situation. Maybe it was somewhere on description but I didnt see it. So be aware. Valet or parking garage only . Valet was $39 a day and parking garage charged per hour. Other than that it was a very nice hotel.

The location is fantastically convenient in the town of Tempe. For us it was really convenient to family in the local area. There are many options for food bars, or other entertainment during the day locally. We were there before Christmas, which was unique with all of ASU gone for the holidays. My only gripe is the cost of parking at the hotel, which I think was overly expensive. Otherwise, the hotel stay was great lots of amenities, a great workout facility,, bars, and restaurant in the hotel. I would definitely stay here again.

We had an excellent experience at the Canopy in Tempe. From the moment we walked in Blake checked us in with a smile and briefed us on all the amenities. The rooftop pool and bar was the best for sunsets. Lobby restaurant food was presented picturesque, Cody the bartender was always happy and fun to chat with. We loved the bikes provided giving us a local feel to get to know the area. Highly recommended!

LOVE this hotel and stay here any time I'm in the Phoenix area. It's close to the airport which is ultra convenient, and the local area is wonderful. We can hike up A mountain on campus in the morning and watch the sunrise. The staff here are amazing and I LOVE the gym -- it's perfect and even more amazing that it is in a hotel -- usually they're a closet in the back of the hotel. This one has all the equipment and a great view.

Overall property was modern and decent. It was the room that was disappointing. Looked like it was under construction and had zero carpet anywhere in the room. Shower floor was also cracked badly. Looked like they were in the middle of remodeling and decided to still rent out the room.

Excellent experience. Hotel is modern and beautifully decorated. The only negative comment I have are with the shower and basin drainage. The water from the tub was coming out unto the bathroom floor and the basin water did not go down properly.

Hotel stay was exceptional. On a side note; a few Shower tiles need to be fixed- two were cracked and some missing. Breakfast may have been included but asking for a latte at the breakfast bar will cost you $8. No free parking.

Hotel is lovely, room is comfy and location is great. Only 2 werent awesome: 1) room was only made once (in a 3 night stay) and we had to ask, 2) the bathroom door is a barn door and even when closed you can see into the bathroom (wc/shower). Still, overall, a pretty great place.

While this is not a small hotel is sized right to be easy to get around in and find everything you need. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was a very generous size. The furnishings were in great condition and comfortable.

Slept about 3 hours. Constant thumping outside all night due to steel plates being laid across the road for construction. Imagine a nail gun going off every 15-20 seconds all night…all day. Place is nice but the windows must be made of cellophane as you could hear everything outside. Diesel trucks racing the streets, motorcycles racing up and down Mill Avenue. It sucked.

Beautiful modern oasis in the middle of the downtown Tempe area. The hotel is clean with many amenities. The rooms are spacious and includes a safe, cooling drawer, and coffee pot. There is a barn door to separate the bedroom from the bathroom and closet area. Check out the gorgeous rooftop bar.

The property was beautiful, the staff was super friendly, and the bed was very comfortable but we do feel that they should have made more clear that there is no free parking and it was very hard to sleep due to lots of traffic outside. We could also hear our neighbors talking through the wall at 1 AM.

The Canopy is a very nice hotel but they may have a problem with overbooking their rooms. Even though we had prepaid for our room, they gave it away to someone else. The last thing you want to hear when you arrive late at night is that they have your room away and now you have to go to another hotel 20 minutes away. Another guest at the hotel had said this had also happened to him previously.

I cannot stress enough how wonderful the service was at the Canopy by Hilton Tempe Downtown. The entire staff went above and beyond to ensure a great experience. Kayla at the front desk was exceptional. The hotel is clean, modern and the location was very convenient.

I checked in around 1 pm, and was told I would be receiving a text when my room was ready. I never received a text. Not a big deal. Later that evening, I checked to see if my room was ready and it was. When I got to the room, the TV was not working and I could not login to WIFI. Both issues were remedied immediately. I also stayed for two nights and my room was never cleaned. Maybe I slept in too late and missed it. Not sure. None of the above ruined my trip, but because of all of the issues, I'm saying the trip overall was average.

Our stay at Canopy was amazing from the day we arrived to the day we departed. Everything was perfect. The staff were the friendliest and kindest staff we have ever encountered at a hotel. We will definitely be back! Thank you to Andrew, Marrisa, and Joshua for always having a smile on your faces!

Great hotel in a convenient location. Restaurant, pool, and rooms were all great. Only two issues, and one is not controllable by the hotel. If your room is on the south side of the hotel along University Ave, it is very noisy with traffic, loud vehicles, motorcycles, and sirens. Second, the curb on the north side of the driveway along the sidewalk is hard to see at night. Poorly lit and not painted yellow. I tripped over it getting out of my vehicle and skinned my knee, sprained my left elbow and right wrist. This needs to be corrected. Otherwise, a great stay.

My family and friends selected this hotel. Everything is perfectwith the big disappointment of the top roof Bar hours. All over the hotel you can find flyers including the hotel's website showing the the Top roof Bar hotel close at midnight on Saturday. Well, after a big event at Tempe, we invited our friends to meet us at this place. Unfortunately, the Top roof Bar was closed. Is inconvenient since we believed the flyers posted at the hotel and the hotel 's website open hours.

Short 2-day stay for family event in Phoenix. Convenient location. Great, friendly and thoughtful staff from valet to front desk. Restaurant breakfast is legit brunch with live music. Everyone looked like they were having fun. Chill lobby with intentional spaces for gathering or stealing a moment to yourself by the fire.
