Cheap and basic, but it does the job. This is a no-frills motel offering the essentials. Everything works, although sometimes just barely. The hair dryer is perfect if you’re bald, acceptable for short hair, and almost useless for long hair. In that case, bring a book. We were missing a bath towel on arrival, but reception immediately gave us a complete extra set. The towels are impressively small: ideal for a baby, less so for an adult. The staff were always friendly, welcoming and smiling. We chose this motel because it was slightly cheaper than another one nearby, but I missed the extra $20 parking fee. In the end, the other motel would have been cheaper. The heating works well but is old and noisy. Bring earplugs unless you want to choose between warmth and sleep. We would have slept well if our neighbours hadn’t come back drunk at 4 a.m. and again at 6 a.m., obviously not the motel’s fault. Breakfast was complete: eggs, fruit, coffee/tea, cereal, toast, jam, peanut butter, potatoes, etc. Plenty of choice, but very basic quality. Overall, a decent stay, only a 15–20 min walk from the falls and downtown. It’s cheap, basic and reasonably well located. Just keep your expectations in line with the price.

Only there for a short stay. Front desk very helpful and nice. However - we were 4 woman and they gave us 2 towels and 1 roll of toilet paper. I went to front desk and they were very nice about giving us more. This hotel/motel is very convenient to the Falls and Clifton Hills. Stopped quickly for the breakfast before heading home - nothing fancy but a decent variety of cereal, muffins, bananas, etc. A/C was fine. For location, pricing was very reasonable and staff very nice. Would stay there again.

Everything was quite fine other than the bathroom. There were stray hairs from previous guests on the wall and shower wall. Dust and shmutz on the baseboards and guck on the baseboard corner behind the toilet and near the tub.
