The first night was good, then on Saturday my kids wanted to go swimming but they closed the pool for maintenance, that was one of the main reasons I booked this hotel because they had an indoor pool, they could of at least discounted my second night since I had kids and they couldn't use the pool, I was very irritated that's really only thing my kids wanted to do is swim and we couldn't even do that, not very happy momma right here when I spent over $ 225 dollars for 2 nights

We had a fantastic stay here. The staff was super nice, and helpful. The room was clean, and layed out nice! Fridge with ice maker, stove top, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and cookware with dishes! The pool was indoor and heated. It was a great swimming area. They also have a small snack store located in the lobby. I give this place a big two thumbs up for luxury! Will definitely be coming back!

Very nice place to stay, and this is a fairly newer property too. The rooms are already accommodated with all the Dove hygiene products you need for showering, and then the kitchenette is equipped with numerous cooking accessories so you can prepare a decent meal for yourself if preferred. The room is also very spacious and definitely suitable for those long term stays if you’re working out of town or just a comfy get a way to visit the beautiful state of Tennessee. This room will not disappoint and it’s a very well kept property, the pool is always well kept too, and there’s a laundry area, and work out area too and the vending area is stocked with yummy food and the coffee is the freshest, it’s truly worth the money to stay here! All the Staff was amazing and extremely helpful. The main thing is and always has been my main concern when picking a good hotel is that our room was very comfortable and extremely quiet and so cozy. Check in and check out was also such a breeze! Honestly the overall experience was a 10 out of 10 and the best part is that it always is here each and every time we stay at this particular hotel. The rooms have always been freshly cleaned and just conveniently ready to just dive right into our stay relaxing and it’s been like this each and every time we visit this beautiful area! Highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Beautiful hotel. Love the cupboard to buy items, the lending closet was nice and the complimentary washer/dryer was very convenient; even though it took longer than expected. Also, super pet-friendly which many hotels are not, even when they say pet friendly.

We only stayed one night, & booked 2 rooms, both of which were very clean & comfortable. The staff was wonderful, especially Shannon at the front desk. The hotel was right off the freeway, & close to restaurants & gas stations. The indoor pool was warm, clean & enjoyable. We would definitely stay there again, & highly recommend it.

Very clean and well managed hotel. Typical decor with no color. I would stay hear again. They are adding lanes to the road, so there is a lot of construction in front of the hotel.

The room and property were fine. When we went to open up the bed, there was a couple large hairs in the sheets. When we asked for new sheets and explained, the front desk apologized several times and gave us new sheets and offered to change the sheets right away. Our guess is the sheets were changed and the hairs were probably from when the housekeeper was changing sheets. We would stay there again.

The check in process was easy and quick. The room was clean and nice but the curtains in the room didn’t provide much privacy or block the spotlights shining up the side of the building. The brightness this allowed made it difficult to sleep.

Our room was beautiful but it had a fridge with ice maker that could bot be turned off. Everytime it refilled it sounded like a cat in a garbage disposal. Kept us up most of the night. Everything else was great but we needed sleep.

The hotel is very convenient to access with regard to its proximity to the interstate and restaurants (along with TN Tech University). The desk staff was very friendly. The room was good and very well equipped with the necessities in a suite. The cleaning staff should have checked the hand soap supply for the room as it had enough for only one hand washing. The mattress was good for sitting on, but made a v when laying on and your body would roll to the middle while the sides of the mattress were up. I would definitely stay here again, but hopefully on a different mattress.

I’ll tell you what. This is such a great hotel, but there was a problem. Our Expedia reservation didn’t show up in their system, although I had the confirmation and itinerary number. The young man at the desk was new. He had no idea what to do. The manager was on premises but off duty and was not helpful. He spoke to Expedia and had it confirmed that I had a reservation so he checked us in. In spite of his assurances to me that we would not be charged twice, the next day we were charged again. It cleared the bank and so I have paid for the room twice. Not okay! Still trying to get a resolution. The people checking in before me had the same problem. I also heard them being assured they wouldn’t be charged again. I wonder.

Very nice property. Only one check in agent with a line that took us close to 30 minutes to get checked in after a 9 hour drive. One key didn't open the kitchen door or room door. Employee didn't have time to open the door for me to buy some snacks and drinks. Waited until another guest could let me in, about ten minutes.

It was the slowest check in I’ve ever experienced but they were really nice. We were the only ones in line but it took 10 min and they were trying to charge me again after I pre paid on Expedia. The rooms were clean as was the property.

I had to cancel due to a problem at home. I called the property before 6pm. It was plenty of time to rent the room again. However they were not willing to work ANYTHING out with me. I will be back in the area in a few months but I rather stay anyplace else that is more accomadating even if I have to pay more money.

The front desk staff were amazing. We were in Cookeville for a funeral and needed a space for family to gather. They found a meeting room, set the room up, got trash bags so we could empty the trash can without waiting or bothering staff, and got us ice. Samuel, the evening front desk staff, was simply amazing. He greeted us with a smile, talked to our grandchildren, made jokes with our teenage grandson, and assisted us with every single request. With our visit to Cookeville a very sad one, our hotel stay was comforting. The beds were amazing, pillows galore, soft linens, and overall the stay was great. I would definitely stay again.

This was the first time that my son and I stayed at Candlewood Suites. We really liked the room that we stayed in and we felt like we were "home." Everything was great. I have no complaints. The road construction on the road in front of the property was something that Candlewood could not help. If we come back to the area, we will definitely consider this place. THANKS!

The staff was incredibly accommodating, friendly and helpful. Conveniently located super close to stores for necessities on a long trip and a variety of restaurants. We came to Cookeville to visit all the National Parks nearby and see the waterfalls. This hotel was a wonderful place to come back to each night. Highly recommended, especially for long stays.

Very nice hotel. Large room, clean bathroom, big tv, very nice bed. Staff is friendly and accommodating. The only thing that will stop me from returning is that they do not offer any breakfast. So many hotels with the same quality and price point are offering breakfast that I will want to stay at one of those. It was a really nice hotel, but the breakfast thing will cost them my future business.

Friendly staff, clean rooms and comfortable beds. No breakfast but they have a great little area for purchasing snacks and drinks. Kitchenette area of room was nice. My only problem was there were no towels at the pool when we went down for a swim. Would definitely stay here again.
