We had a great stay in this remodelled ( to a high standard) property. The only thing that lets it down is the pool. This lacks any privacy and is next to a public walkway. It could be easily fixed with a bit of landscaping. It wasn’t heated or open much during our stay, which was disappointing. After some negotiation we were allowed to carry sun loungers from the pool to the nearby public beach that didn’t have any. A couple of tweaks and this would have been a perfect stay. I hope they use this feedback to help them.

The pool was closed due to maintenance and cleaning for 2 days and the real feel temps were over 100 degrees. We had no housekeeping in our suite for the 4 days we stayed. I wouldn't think one would need to seek that out rather it should have been provided for the price we paid.

The rooms were really nice but i was disappointed in the pool area. There are so many birds flying around and using the pool as a bird bath that it wasn't clean to go in.

Very clean property with updated units. Superior accommodation. Lots of shopping and some places to eat. Port Charlotte is close to drive to for additional shopping and restaurants. Our only complaint was the pool. It was not heated and looks better in the pictures than it did in person. We didn’t go in. We sat around the pool but there was constantly busses sitting there running so it was noisy and there were a lot of fumes. Despite this I would come again just with different expectations regarding relaxing around and in the pool.

The room was wonderful, beautiful views of the bay and beach. However the floors were filthy. Management needs to hire a tile cleaning company to professionally clean the floors. The dust mop method used by the hotel staff does not work. If you walk aroung barefooted in the room your feet WILL become black.

The suites at fisherman\'s village was a very pleasant surprise. The 2 bedroom suite was recently and thoroughly remodeled with contemporary furnishings and top of the line G.E. appliances. The room had a fabulous view of the bay and gorgeous sunsets. There is a wonderful beach with sand as soft as baby powder. On the beach is a large tiki bar that seats about 40 people and also serves food. I only gave The Suites a "Good" rating because the floors in the apartment were absolutely filthy. After walking barefooted in my room the bottom of my feet looked like I walked through coal dust. After I told management about this a cleaning crew appeared at my door within 15 minutes, but only made a half-hearted attempt with a swiffer-type dust mop to clean the grimy floors. It didn\'t do any good. I would stay here again, but I would wear a pair of black socks while walking around in the apartment.

Room was awesome and the restaurants were excellent. Excellent stay except for our morning coffee. There was enough for 3 cups and one cup of decaf for two people and only about 5 packets of sugar. We thought they would restock but housekeeping only comes every other day. We were fine with not having the sheets changed but the necessities should really be restocked daily.

The balcony on the entertainment suite was unbelievable. Incredible views of sunsets and dolphins with live music most of the day and evening but finishing at a sensible time. We could have sat on that balcony forever!

You cannot beat the location. It was fantastic. We didn't realize that the hotel was actually incorporated right into the pier. My only complaint was it was noisy at night, but that may have just been our suite as it was close to the stairs and the elevator. it seemed that there were many deliveries during the night highly recommend the location other than that

The Suites at Fisherman's Village were excellent. Full apartment style room with full kitchen, living room, balcony overlooking marina, two bedrooms each with its own full bath and king size bed. Quiet. Clean. AC worked great with overhead fans in every room. Would definitely stay again. Very reasonably priced for early June long weekend stay.

I had a quick one night stay for my sons tournament. The place was absolutely beautiful. The only downfall for me was that you can hear the bar at night, and in the morning, the people loading and unloading in the main bedroom, but in the bedroom towards the bay area you couldn’t hear anything.

I would highly recommend staying here for a night or two! Honestly one of the best hotels in Florida, especially for the price. The only downside I would say is that they only had one elevator since the other one was damaged during the hurricane. However, it is such a cute area to walk-through and such cute shops that it really didn’t bother us. The other thing is the beds were a little bit too soft for us, but we are just picky. Otherwise, the rooms are amazing, we got the two bedroom with the sunset view, which was awesome. Do you have a full balcony view of the water. I will definitely be staying here again!

This was an excellent stay. Very clean, great view. I did not notice any VIP benefits. I was expecting something. I thought I had reserved a different room because the one we were given did not have the same patio furniture or deck rails. There was only one working elevator on the premises.

This property is absolutely perfect! It was our second stay here while we were visiting family in Florida and it will be the only place that I stay for upcoming visits. The location is perfect. The shops downstairs are fun. There are several restaurant options that you can easily walk to. The Christmas decorations and Christmas music made it feel like you were in a Hallmark movie. It was absolutely perfect. The room itself is also great. It is clean and pretty. Also it is well stocked. We cooked breakfast each day and in the evening it was so nice to have a dining table for left overs and snacks. The bed was very comfortable and the linens were nice. We were notified before we arrived that both elevators were under repair from the last hurricane. When we were checking in (around 8pm) the gentleman that was on shift not only came to our car to help us, but he also carried things up with us to make it easier for us. Every person we had an encounter with was nice, friendly, and very helpful. I can't say enough nice things about Fishermen's Village.

It was a tad expensive and very peoplely Crowded most days! On property shops We were booked in Siesta Key until hurricane. Elevator was broke often and another never worked while we were there. Dining and room there was an upside! Choice and quality Room was wonderful! Like a condo Comfy bed I would recommend for older couples

Beautifully, and very comfortably furnished. We were a little concerned about parking/getting our luggage thru Fishermans Village and noise from the nearby restaurant, but the first two were easy, and the unit was both well soundproofed, and the noise was gone by nine so no issue either way. Perfectbfor our visit to see family in Punta Gorda.

Great location with lots to do for adults and kids. Swimming, shopping, ice cream, great kids park only 1 mile away. Build your own shrimp tacos from the brew place and fantastic grouper sandwich from the harpoon Harry’s. Good times here

We stayed at Fisherman's suites for the second year in a row--we love the whole atmosphere of the place! The staff is awesome and our suite is fabulous! We love our view of the water and listening to the music on our balcony. The only downside I can think of is I wish there was a breakfast option(earlier than 10 AM in the shopping area). The restaurants in the village are awesome--we absolutely love Harpoon Harry's and Village Brewhouse! Definitely would recommend for that relaxed Florida vibe!!!

Great location, excellent condition, amenities and customer service. Our unit was a 2 bedroom ocean facing property with all the amenities we needed. The location is perfect with plenty of restaurants and shops. And you can walk one mile to downtown Punta Gorda. I highly recommend this property.

My family really loved Fishermen’s Village. Our suite was so beautiful. We had a balcony that overlooked the water and docks. There are dining options and shopping right outside your door. The only thing is the ice cream shop closed at 8 (all the shop do) so we weren’t able to get there after dinner but we were able to go the next morning for coffee and breakfast. We enjoyed our stay very much.
