Park Lake Motel

Good location. It did not have a microwave.

It was comfortable and had all needed amenities. The microwave was in a community use room which was fine but not clear in the booking. They are environmentally conscious using bulk soap rather than little packets.

It was located close to everything we needed. We stay there on every trip we make to that area and we will continue to do so. No complaints other than maybe having a soda machine on site.

no vending machines, but everything else that we were looking for. We were very pleased and no major complaints with anything. Was just a short drive for any groceries we needed. Also a short drive to Letchworth State Park, which was a great place to visit and pass the time away. We look forward to going back and staying there again.

Okay for a cheap motel in a small town. The flimsiest towels I've ever seen. No bedbugs. Cable TV didn't work. Someone came up to try to fix but couldn't.

I was working in the area so the hotel was convienant. Not a big fan of the self check in. No ice machine anywhere to be found. No staff to ask any questions.

The room was clean. Bedbug covers on the mattress that seemed new. Shower has high water pressure and heats up quickly. Room is very spacious. Cute quiet area that was very close to Letchworth state park. Parking was easy, every night we were able to park directly in front of our room. A nearby diner named Brians USA diner was delicious with huge portions, we visited there a couple times. Silver Lake Brewing was also awesome. Chill brewery with plenty of seating. We got some good beer and stuck around for a bit playing board games. Before you arrive, they send a message with your room number and leave the key on the dresser for you. There's a laminated instruction sheet for check out that's very straightforward. I didn't mind the lack of person to person service. We came here for a remote visit and I don't need people waiting on me all day. There was a number to call to get service if you needed it. The walls are pretty thin and you can hear your neighbors. We turned on the AC at night to stay cool and the droning sound of it did a really good job of drowning out the sound. I keep earplugs with me and wore them to sleep since I'm a light sleeper anyway. No problem. I enjoyed my stay and would come here again. It was a great option for folks who want to visit Letchworth without camping outdoors or using the cabins. Thank you so much.

We enjoyed the spacious room. The motel was 3-4 miles from the Perry entrance of Letchworth State Park. It didn't have a microwave, but it did have a small fridge, which was helpful. There was no icemaker for guests to use. We found a very good diner not far from the motel (John & Sarah's Family Restaurant, 127 N Center Street, Perry). We had supper and breakfast there. Delicious and large portions (especially breakfast).

No microwave. No onsite staff. Clean room. In my opinion it was overpriced, even for same day rental.

Great Value. Odd location. Clean but there was an unpleasant odor in the room. Not sure what it was. We carry air freshener on trips just in case. Chairs need new cushions/foam. Uncomfortable. Wasn't happy that the door to the room was split near where the knob comes out of the side of the door. Screws were loose and wouldn't tighten and you can see where the door is split. Didn't feel that was secure. We delt with it and propped a chair against the door. The dates of our stay are wrong on the picture to the left of this page. Our stay was from Thursday October 2nd overnight till October 3rd. A pleasant stay. Thank You.

VERY old. Attempt seems to be made to keep it clean, but musty smell was so bad almost inhabitable. Towels were rough and a dirty grey/yellow like they had been used for 30 years. Would not recommend, especially for the price. Should have more like a 4-5 rating out of 10.

Good value for the money. Towels a bit threadbare but otherwise clean and comfortable room. Met a caretaker who provided a map to Letchworth State Park and was very friendly.

Met our motel expectations. Bedding and bathroom were very clean. Check-in was easy and instructions were clear. AC was quite noisy and we would have appreciated a chain on the door for security.

Overall, it’s a relatively dated motel. The pics tell you that so it’s no surprise. Other than that, it’s a good value, super close to downtown, easily accessible, quiet, and felt clean and cared for; it ticks all of the important boxes. It was a nice, comfortable stay.

The room was very clean and large. Beds were comfortable. Towels need updated. My word. Sink and shower drains and shower head need attention. The spray from the falls gave me a better shower. Walking distance to anything to eat in town. I'd go back.

This is a no-frills motel. In fact it is so no-frills, it is self check in! But with that said, the room was large, clean, quiet, and comfortable for an over night while passing thru or visiting the parks in the area. No complaints, and would return.

Noisy people up all night in room above us. Past midnight, tried to ask them nicely to try to be more quiet. (mind you rules posted in the room says "quiet hours" 10pm and onward.) After that didnt work, I called the hotel manager twice to ask them to help. They were empathetic but at the end of the day, the people continued to be noisy, stomping on the floor, laughing, making noise the whole night and we got a terrible night sleep, when having to get up super early next day. Accidentally left my childs pillow there, but realized when we had already driven hours away. Left a message to see if we could get the pillow mailed to us. No one ever responded :(

The bed was way to soft. Woke up several times. Uncomfortable tossed and turned all night.

I have stayed several different times, clean room, easy check in/ out, convenient location to Letchworth park, nice brewery walking distance, good price- only issue - bed is uncomfortable at least for me but that will not stop me from booking again

The property is an older style hotel but it is clean and it was comfortable. The contactless check in and out was unique. It was great to just open the door and walk into our room. We were exhausted from our day and just wanted to relax. Not having to wait to check in with a front desk was nice.

It was fine, no frills, the towels for the bath were very small and limited when I called for more. It took a while to get a call back. We were already gone. The beds were OK not terrible. I did like the fact we went right in the room, we didn’t have to wait. It was convenient location.

The Park Lake Motel was just what we needed - a very clean large room in a quiet area with a friendly and responsive owner (we needed a change of towels halfway through our four day visit). Plus, it was conveniently located close to Letchworth State Park. We were within walking distance to several restaurants in Perry and just a short drive to the Charcoal Corral. The cost was affordable and right on par with a "Mom and Pop" motel. I highly recommend this place and will use it again if in the area.

The GOOD: Large clean room. Comfortable beds, clean bedding. Enough light in above bed sconces to read by. Large modern TV. Was able to get local weather. Not always possible in other motels I've stayed at. Good shower, plenty of hot water. Bargain rate. Quiet The BAD: No staff, only a phone # to call for any service. No room cleaning service. Ok to stay for 1 night but after that, do your own cleaning. Where to empty wastebasket? Make your own beds. ODD: self check in (door unlocked), self check out. Enter parking lot through an alleyway off a side street.

The property was convenient, and very clean. The staff were pleasant, courteous, and quick to respond when we called. We will definitely come again, when we are in the area.

Easiest check in ever! Got an email with our room number and just a walked in. Key was on the desk. Nice quiet place in a cute town, very close to Letchworth park. Would go there again if in the area .

Nobody was available to check us in. There was no room service available.

Room was large and clean. We had a late night check in and drove past the mother 3 times before seeing the small sign on the main road that entrance was on the side street.

It was what we were looking for. The room was fine and we were close to anything we needed. Also close to Letchworth State Park. We were on a 7-hour trip to Collins, N.Y. and this was an excellent place to stop and spend the night. It was our second trip to this destination and have no need to change our plans the next time we go.

Was a little confused upon arrival, Motel did not have an office, but it all worked out perfect! Location to Letchworth was ideal!

This hotel was nostalgic in such a quaint town in Perry NY just 10 miles if that from the entrance to letchworth park. We ate at the Lumber Mill great food, service and value highly recommend both. We at breakfast at the local diner in town hands down best homemade Belgian waffles. We will definitely stay again.
