We enjoyed our stay here at the Cambria this weekend. The hotel staff was amazing with providing us with fast service. The area around the hotel was amazing, the Bayfront is beautiful! You can see everything from the hotel. You can either have a room facing the city or the water and whichever you pick, it will be a great experience. The walk to and from the board walk isn’t bad at all, it’s better than most walks to a beach(coming from a New Yorker).. the pools were very nice, I love that there is a separate room with towels of self service. I can go all day with my experience, Anyhow thank you Cambria, we will be returning back very very soon! Thank you for adding a great time to our Ocean city experience!

It was a good experience. Great location, the rooftop restaurant is a must! The only complaint is there's only two elevators. It seems for the building so if you try to get one at the wrong time, you will be waiting, especially during the dinner rush for the restaurant.

My family and I really really liked the view of the bay and the cleanliness of the room. Great facilities like the pool and fitness room. The only thing I wish they had was more elevators for use. Other than that wonderful experience and we would happily recommend this hotel to anyone!

Really nice hotel with a great location. Right on the bay, short walk to beach/boardwalk. Beautiful views, great indoor and outdoor pool. Very clean hotel, very updated. We loved our stay. Only 1 minor complaint. They have a very popular restaurant on the top floor and people from outside the hotel come in flocks. The elevator from like 4-8 is crazy. I wish they had a separate elevator just for the Restaurant. Again overall a great experience

Hard review to write because the hotel appears new and clean from a distance. BUT. First impression. Lobby is small, employees at reception desk (2) are checking people in, dealing with complaints and answering questions from other guests. The elevator: Appears to be only (2) for entire hotel which is used for guests, staff, patrons visiting Spain, and food delivery during the morning. Room 702. The complaints are valid. During the evening, you will hear the sounds of chairs and tables dragging along the floor until 11:30pm. Bring a fan or other noise canceling device. Cleanses: disappointment. My son opens the sleep sofa and we were shocked to find Doritos crumbs, a clump of hair and a fake eyelash. Gross! Balcony. Toe nail clippings! Outside pool, stepped on an earring, also, clumps of hair. No outside bar. They only clean every other day and obviously it’s a light cleaning. Not sure if I’d rebook.

I love the bayview, the indoor pool, and the hot tub. I think that was about it. There are 2 elevators for that big of a hotel. Sometimes I had to wait in lines to get in an elevator, and the staff do not have their own elevator. Also, the cleaning staff do not do well with cleaning. The carpet turned my feet black, and there were like oil smudges on the bathroom mirror and the glass shower doors. The sink handle and faucet was pretty gross too.

Hotel was amazing. It was clean and nicely maintained. The service was friendly and fast. We had an issue with the safe and they sent someone within minutes. My only complaint is the elevator. There were 2 for eight floors and a rooftop restaurant/bar... that was busy. We had to wait in a line to get on. Most times we opted for the stairs from the 3rd floor (except the times we had the wagon). All in all, nice experience

The bathroom of our room was terrible. There was actually feces from a previous stay, smeared on the bottom of the toilet. Once we noticed it, we made sure to pack up our things and leave very early (a few hours later) that morning. I hope that anyone that stays in room 611 makes sure to check under the toilet before use.

Our stay at the Cambria was just alright. I wouldnt stay there again. We tried to check in early when we arrived in Ocean City. Completed all of our paperwork, but the room wasnt ready yet. When we returned in the evening, there was a LARGE group checking in that used EVERY luggage cart and took up the entire lobby. We were left holding all of our bags and waiting in line for 10 minutes. When we dmfinally got to thr counter, I was asked for my credit card AGAIN, depsite having it swiped earlier. I refused because everything was in my backpack and I couldnt get to it without taking 5 other bags off my arms. When we got to our room, the front desk started calling my phone demanding I bring my credit card down by that evening. The next 2 evenings were filled with loud drunk men yelling and cursing and stumbling in the halls and in their rooms (the walls are paper thin). No towels available at the pool when we went. Breakfast on a Friday morning had 1 server available. We walked out after waiting 10 minutes. Very limited menu and pricey anyway. This place just wasn't worth it.

Our stay at the Cambria was exceptional! Convenient location- 3min walk to the boardwalk. The staff was friendly, check in / check out was smooth, lobby was clean. The hotel rooms were clean & spacious. The Bay view from our room was magnificent, watching the sunset over the bay was so beautiful! The onsite restaurant and bar, The View, had wonderful food options. Special shoutout to The bartender, Ms. Julie, who is/was the best person on earth! She was a very gracious bartender with great conversation, funny and down to earth - She truly made the experience feel as if we were at home, she made the best White tea drinks/shooters!! The restaurant above the hotel -Spain- was delicious as well!! Tapas for the win!! The were only 2 things I’d say were downsides - 1: the location of the elevators in relation to the check-in counter, it was typically very crowded in the general vicinity due to ppl visiting the restaurant, waiting for the elevator, check-in /check-out etc. and 2: the closet was a little too short to hang my dresses w/o wrinkling. I also wish there were more King size beds available… but we will definitely be back again and HIGHLY recommend this location to others!! Bravo Cambria!!

Very lovely hotel, great view & location. The only negative was the balcony lights were so BRIGHT! We couldn’t control them inside the room. The shone all night long. Very annoying & way too bright. They need to be dimmed.

Outlets & charging units didn’t work next to bed. Maid service came in day before we left only. Breakfast service was terrible. Warm, old coffee serviced from pump. Not fresh. 1 piece of toast was served instead of 2. Had to ask for butter & salt & pepper.

Although it was a great hotel, we were upgraded to the 7th floor which sounded great until we realized that the upstairs bar lounge was above us... tho noise was unbearable! We retired to the room @ 9:00, only to hear what would be decribed as furniture moving all night. We called the front desk and they told us that they close @ 11:30, but that didn't include clean-up which continued until 1am. The noise levels were unsatisfactory. I'm not a hotel owner but maybe they should've left the 7th floor for service and storage for the bar lounge which would be better for guests and staff.

The desk people refused to clean the room said they do it every alternate day and I req a special clean up as per the message received form the hotel that I could request for one if I needed a clean up…the front desk refused stating it’s only for people who stay 3 nights not for me as I was there for 2 nights!!! Didn’t make sense as the alternate day for me would be the day of check out… Please explain this to me??? I had 2 rooms and paid $715 a night!

Poor front desk. Very argumentative! Got woke up at midnight by screaming kids/parents and front desk more interested in checking people in! Couldn’t just pick up phone and tell them to quiet down. Poor poor management! Had to call someone to find out what to do! Never will come back Had us move to other room. Never apologized!

Let’s start with the check in. It took them almost 10 minutes at the front desk to get us processed in, and there was no one in line when we walked in. When we finally made it to our room, the first thing we noticed was we had a Bayview room but we reserved a bay front room. When I called the front desk, they questioned me as if I booked the wrong room and I explained to them I was looking at my reservation and I booked a bayfront with the king bed. They inform me that they had no king beds available with bayfront so we had to settle for a room with two queen beds and on the third floor. Apparently, they gave our room away before we got there.There were flies everywhere in the hotel. In the lobby and the hallways, rooms, even in the elevators. One of the elevators stunk like seafood nor did we find a working ice machine and we checked three of the floors. Went down for breakfast the next morning, sit down at the restaurant and waited 20 minutes no one ever approached us. We had to ask for our own menu. We never got no drinks nor was our order ever taken. The hotel offers 15%off at that restaurant, but it doesn’t do any good if you can’t get service. We walked out, went right next-door to a local place and we was followed by another couple who did the same thing once they heard that we had waited as long as we did. we told the lady at the front desk that we have been waiting for 20 minutes with no service and she simply said I’ll call a manager and that was it. Horrible stay!

We tried to cancel our visit in advance not on the cut off date but called the hotel … hotels.com tried on their end with no results - so basically this hotel made me pay for a room for 4 nights and no one occupied or used the facilities. Questionable customer service. It’s a shame because I presented a reasonable solution pay for one night And refund me the rest. Nothing also wrote the hotel twice with no response to date.

We stayed at the Cambria OCMD for a long weekend in the off-season, and it was great. The hotel is in great shape, there is ample parking, and we heard great things about the on-site tapas restaurant & wine bar. Cashmere, who was at the front desk during our stay, was very helpful with tracking down extra pillows and towels for our stay.

They put us on the 7th floor, beautiful view, but the restaurant is above the room. Chairs draggi g and banging hard until 2am. No sleep that night. Compained and requested to be moved. Had the most rude and unprofessional service. We were demanded to move out of our room to be transferred giving us a couple hours notice. I had a day planed on a boat, had to cancel my trip to be back in time or they would have house keeping move my stuff. Absurd. No apologies, they actelike they doing me a favor. I am paying $500 a night and cant sleeep???

Very nice 2 night getaway with my wife. Great location on the bay. Clean big room. Walkable to the boardwalk but removed from the craziness. 5 minute drive to great dining and shopping. Only complaint would be that there are only 2 elevators and the lines and wait can be annoying. A hotel this size needs to have more elevators. Otherwise I highly recommend.

Unfortunately we had rain and very windy weather the first day but our well appointed room and the lobby sitting area provided a wonderful bayfront view. Because of the weather we decided to have breakfast at the hotel. The food and service were both very good. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to restaurants and the amusement end of the boardwalk. Shoppers can take a short drive across a bridge to the outlets, restaurants and movie theater in West Ocean City.

This is great hotel that I would highly recommend. The location and ocean view in the rooms are both fantastic. There’s plenty of outdoor seating available and great gym if decide to workout. Breakfast is not complimentary but there are great options and the food is good. My only complaint would be that the elevators are full much of the day and sometimes the wait is long. We will definitely stay here again.

Great location and hotel. We had the bay front balcony and you felt like you were on a ship because you could lay in bed and see the boats and water I normally stay on the board walk Marriott courtroom but tried something different and happy we did.

While the rooms looked nice and modern the whole place including my room smelled of beach and chlorine! The ice machine was out of order. I tried breakfast at The view in the hotel. While the staff worked hard she was by herself and overwhelmed. The food was ok. The view was nice but if you go out on balcony the noise from bridge traffic is LOUD!

I was staying with my 4 kids. They put us on the 8th floor. In order to get to the room, you have to walk through the people waiting to get into a very loud restaurant. You have to walk past the restaurant and go through the doors nearby. My sleeping toddler was woken a few times before we decided to just leave since none of us were going to get any rest.

We did not like that the check in at the front desk was so long. The employee was very nice. Just the signing of so many papers was annoying. Spain wine bar was excellent as usual.
