Clean bright room, fridge and microwave. Great bathroom and comfy bed. It looks like the is going through an update.. rooms are great, outside has a couple of games, a large wooden play ship and a fire pit. Lawn needs attention, understandable with all the rain. Property manager was prompt with answers to questions and a special request. You can walk a short distance to get ice cream.

We had a nice stay. Owner is renovating and upgrading. Suites are done very nice and clean now. Grounds may be under construction. Looking forward to a return visit next year.

The use of outdoor games and gazebo was a nice touch. Spacious and clean rooms. Quiet area.

It’s a great lodge with parking, amazing service, & access to the Lake Placid area.

Yuri, the manager, was very attentive. He texted me all the information needed before we arrived to access our room (including wifi) without the hassle of registration. Room and washroom were very clean and bed was comfortable; good space for two ppl. Outdoor common amenities included fire pit, nice eating area and BBQ. Also, a small area to play games with children. We stayed for three days. Very family friendly. Would highly recommend :).

Worth every penny! Amazing combination of gorgeous rustic decor paired with modern amenities. Prime location, easy to get to Whiteface or a quick drive to Lake Placid. Amazing view surrounding the hotel and very quiet despite being on 86. Loved having the fire pit, bbq, and outdoor games as well! Will definitely be staying here again!

Enjoyed using the picnic couches and corn hole. Very clean and cute interior.

We loved our stay at the Wolfjaw Lodge. We arrived early and the owner, Yuri, greeted us and let us know our room was just about ready. So we hung out in the gazebo and even played cornhole at the property. They had lots of neat outdoor areas for enjoying evenings outside in the Adirondacks after a full day. The room was clean and well decorated. While we didn’t use it during our only 1 night stay, there was a great looking kitchen and dining area. The rooms are well decorated and the renovations made for a great stay. No complaints, we would absolutely recommend it to anyone.

Property is just as pictured in photos. Great value and a 4 minute drive to Whiteface for skiing. Extremely clean and cute!

Our room was very clean and neat. The bed linens had a nice fresh smell and feel and the bathroom had amazingly soft and thick towels. All of this for a very reasonable price. We would definitely stay there again.

Very clean! Comfortable beds! Blackout curtains. Affordable, many amenities. The space was very stylish. Not only would I recommend but I will stay again.

We loved our stay at the Wolfjaw. We had an end unit which we preferred so that worked out great. Our room was very clean and we were happy to see there was a nice mini fridge too. We appreciated the quietness overall. We would happily rent again here!

Hotel rooms were exactly as shown in the photos. Rooms were clean, everything worked properly, and access to parking was right outside of our room. Would definitely come back again.

It was nicely decorated, but the website pictures were deceiving as the room & bathroom were very small. I can’t imagine having more than 2 people in that room. But it was very clean.

Room was very small and too hot

Very nicely recently renovated property. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Mattresses are a bit soft but tolerable. My only complaint is that like many places they now have a two night minimum stay. Many people are simply passing through and need a place or only have one night that they can stay. Ver prompt response when we had issues with the TV in our room although unable to fix offered us to move to another room and when we declined that offered us 20% off our stay.

The property itself was clean. My own qualms with it was the misrepresentation of it online. When booking my King room, pictures of a LR and separate area appeared. However, that is only for a suite. Not sure why the picture would be included in a King room if it wasn’t included. Otherwise, the room itself was clean and plenty of parking. About 15 minutes to the main town.

Extremely tiny room and shower, could hear everything from neighbours until very late night, uncomfortable pillows, noisy refrigerator, not many options to eat out. Good point is that it was very clean and functional, check in was very smooth by text, owners were nice to check on us since we had power outage in the night.

Very nice room, clean and comfortable. Checkin was weird, no lobby, just a text giving room key combination. Weird but it worked. Only problem was lack of hot water for the shower. It was luke warm at best. I would stay here again.

Recently refurbished, clean, and quiet motel in the village of Wilmington. Great location - quick and beautiful drive to Lake Placid without staying amidst the fray. Excellent place to stay if fishing the West Branch of the Ausable. Yuri is a fantastic host. Very good WiFi and variety of live stream and other tv viewing options.

This motel was spotless warm and comfortable . The wifi however was pretty hopeless

Our room was clean and cozy. It seemed to be recently remodeled. The only downside was that the bathroom was a little small. The shower was so small it was hard to bend over to pick up something if you dropped it.

Beautiful place that has been renovated (although it is more pretty in photo than in reality) in a charming place. It's clean. The room was fine, but the fridge and radiator were very noisy and woke us up several times in the night. Also the walls are thin, have heard the TV of the room next door and there are many LEDs in the room (microwave, wifi, TV) that stay on all night and illuminate the room. Few places to eat around.

Nice room in a great location for us, however it’s a remote service check-in and the instructions were incorrect. The key pad code requires a check mark, not a (+) or a (-) as the instructions stated. Fortunately we were able to call and reach them to get the correction. That is risky given the remoteness of Wilmington which has spotty cell service. Also there was 2 outdoor lights outside our door not working during our stay.

Very impressed with the customer service

This was a lovely place to stay while in the Adirondacks. It has been completely updated. It is VERY clean and has all the necessities. Dishes, dish soap, and paper towels in the kitchenette. We were very pleasantly surprised by how great this was. There was no staff on site so that was confusing at first because I missed the email with check in instructions but I called the number they provided and someone answered and helped us immediately. We will stay here again.

The manager has been great. Not only he got us in our room quickly but he also text us later to make sure that all was well.

Newly renovated and just what we needed. We stayed in a king suite on an end. Living area: The couch was comfy and perfectly placed to watch the large screen tv. The small retro-themed fridge/freezer combo was cute. Though a stove and Kurig were available we didn’t use either. Of note, if one wanted to use the Kurig, they need to bring the fixings, including pods. I appreciate there being dual gargage and recycling The dining table w/4 chairs was also just right. There are baseboards and a wall unit for heating, ensuring warm coziness. From an ergonomic perspective, a lamp or some kind of additional lighting is needed in the living area, as well as some hooks to hang coats. We appreciated the boot tray given the snowy weather. Bedroom: the dresser is gigantic, so handy. Trendy lamps on both nightstands were convenient; another on the dresser would be good b/c the suite is dark in general. Bed and bedding were good. The room, and suite, is spacious. Bathroom: I would recommend adding another set of hooks closer to the shower. The towels provided were high quality and perhaps new. Huge bathroom. The pine and flooring are beautiful. The suite was immaculately clean. We heard maintenance shoveling our stairs first thing in the morning, which was thoughtful and kind. I enjoyed check in and check out via text and had no need for in-person assistance but knew that if I needed something, help was just a text away. We loved this place and will absolutely return!

It would have been helpful to know when we booked that we needed a pin code for the door and that there were no onsite staff. My cell phone wasnt getting a signal and we had to find a business open on sunday evening to help us contact support

Excellent design & comfort. Also the easiest/fastest checkin ive done in my last 100 hotel stays. The concierge just gives you a pin code via text and is available and resposive as needed.

Everything was new and first class. It was a good location for exploring High Peaks.

It was quaint and rustic in a modern way. Located only 4 miles from whiteface mountain and a short scenic 15 munutes drive from Lake Placid.

So classy, comfortable and clean! A gem! Walking distance to the town's beautiful beach, the road to Whiteface and a great breakfast/lunch restaurant (Up a Creek). Great communication for check-in etc!

Ideal location near Lake Placid and amazing nature

This is a perfect option if you just need a place to lay your head down at night with shower amenities. Two queen beds and a quiet, peaceful area. The drive into Lake Placid is an easy and picturesque 15 minutes away! I’d like to suggest screens on front window, as we enjoy fresh mountain air, without letting flies in! Easy self check-in and check-out. We enjoyed our 4 night stay!

Great location for snowboarding and skiing close to lake placid and white face mountain.

Quiet inn nestled in the pines. The room was clean and the decor was rustic and warm. Great location between Whiteface and Lake Placid.

We loved everything about this place! Our one issue was there not being dinnerware or silverware or coffee in the room. However, we called and they rectified the problem for the most part. I am sure this will be corrected going forward. We would love to come back.

Super easy check in, the entire room was like a little apartment with a kitchenette,very clean bathroom , comfort beds. We stayed during a cold winter weekend - super warm and my kids enjoyed it so much. Looking forward for another adventure at this place.

Rooms were clean, check-in was easy, beds were comfortable. Overall would go back. However, rooms are NOT as shown on the website photos and there is no common area/kitchenette. Owners didn't respond to the contact email provided.

The Olympic Suite was nicely remodeled and perfect for my son and I on our trip to Whiteface. Small kitchen with necessary basics and plenty of space to put our belongings.

They listed things on website that are in the rooms, but they are not or not able to use. They had no hairdryer. The microwave and coffee maker were unable to be plugged in. It was definitely over priced for the lack of amenities. I like the self check in, however they have no office to offer vending machines or ice machine knowing there is nothing in close proximity of the lodge. Very disappointing.

Very very clean, is the first thing we noticed as we walked in. We had a small kitchen area very useful for some meals. Fridge, there was Keurig coffee maker with some pods. We could use a kettle but there wasn’t one. Also would suggest to add a wine opener! We had a great stay, in town there is small convenience store at the gas station with basic necessities, very close to Whiteface Mountain and with some 20 min drive to Lake Placid! Did not interact with anyone, check in was easy. Place is modern, clean and quiet. Bedroom is roomy, shower is modern. Im truly impressed! Only thing that could be better is breakfast, but not a big deal.
