Truly delightful staff but the hotel itself seems sadly run down. Externally mounted extractor fans for aircon that looks as if it was installed 10-20 years ago (it still works though), gas canisters “hidden” on the way to some of the rooms by large flower pots with dead plants, a dated feel to all the decor both in the rooms, bathrooms and common parts such as the reception and the dining room. To be fair, it must be almost impossible to run a hotel like this at a profit (or even break even) in a scrubby, flat part of Sardinia. We wanted to stay somewhere close to an event we were attending and it’s did the trick but at €300+ per night it seemed overpriced. But the reception staff were truly delightful: friendly, helpful and “can do” in their approach. The hotel badly needs a refit but given the cost that would incur and the size of the place, I doubt it will ever happen. In short, it’s fine (if somewhat pricey) for an overnight stay but it doesn’t make your heart sing when you are there. I am trying to balance not being unkind to the owners with not being dishonest to those contemplating a booking.

The property is in a lovely quiet location that is perfect to explore the surrounding area. The staff were friendly, attentive, and the food in the restaurant is a particular highlight. Highly recommended!

Fabulous view of the rural landscape and mountains. Wonderfull full breakfast included. The staff were there late when our plane was delayed and very friendly and helpful throughout. We stayed for dinner which was very good and reasonable, with professional service. Room was very comfortable and spacious. Recommend.
