Clarion Pointe Jacksonville near Camp Lejeune

The staff was beyond accommodating and kind. The pool area was great. Breakfast was better than most.

One of the best i have stayed at. Bed was amazing. Pillows are great. Breakfast was good. Pool was just right. Food choices around the hotel were plenty.

We did not end up staying. The manager did a good job. Our first room had a damaged mirror. The manager quickly changed rooms for us. We went down to the pool but it was closed. We wanted a hotel with a pool. The manager let us cancel and we went to a different hotel

It was a very welcoming environment. Staff and owner/manager were all very nice and made my stay so much easier. Transportation to and from OAJ Airport was a plus at no additional cost. Will definitely be staying here again next time I visit Jacksonville!

Only disappointment was the pool was not open

Very clean hotel with nice rooms. Breakfast bar has plenty of selections. Pool was out of service during our visit but otherwise it was very nice.

We used the complimentary airport shuttle, our flight ended up getting in 3 hours late. The driver was so on top of watching when our flight was going to get in and was so incredibly kind!

This property was in a great location, was clean, and on Saturday morning had omelette which is something you don’t see. One thing I didn’t like was that on Expedia, it showed it had an airport shuttle which is why I booked. Then I found out when I checked in that the guy was out of town. So, feeling like they should have paid a little toward a taxi, Uber, or had some kind of work around.

Although they had attempted to remodel and add more paint, the property was obviously very old. Also we came to vacation with grandchild and had looked forward to pool time however the pool was closed pending an inspections which it ended up failing resulting in the pool being closed the entirety of our stay. The facility seemed clean although the floor was sticky in the room like it was mopped with dirty water.

Me and my partner stayed 1 night in the king suite for $124. You get what you pay for here. It’s about 35 minutes away from the beach but we didn’t mind the drive, and found some great dining options in the surrounding area. While the staff were great and very friendly while checking in and out, the quality of the hotel was not. Walls had visible patches of MOLD growth and rusted pipes along the baseboards of the walls. The bed sheets had MULTIPLE random orange, brown, and beige stains, it grossed us out so much we just slept with the flat sheet. The floor also looked as if it hadn't been vacuumed in over a week, with so many random crumbs and hairs everywhere in our room as well as the hallways. The wifi was a little iffy and kept disconnecting from our devices randomly. The TV was just cable which we didn't have a problem with, but don't expect to be able to login to your Netflix lol. Lastly, the room just felt humid and wet. We hung our bathing suits out to dry and 10 hours later they felt almost stickier than before. Overall, our stay was just okay, cheap price= cheap quality. But I don't think that excuses things that are bare minimum like the cleanliness of the sheets and floor.

Dirty and gross

Overall it was a fine stay. The water in the shower didn't drain well, so the tub filled with water when we showered. There was also an issue with roaches and a TON of ants. Bed was pretty comfortable and the room was spacious. Unsure if I would stay again.

Rooms were not all that clean . Bathroom was old taking a shower was a challenge. Old tub and very slippery . Shade on window was filthy, air conditioning was an old unit under the window from the 70’s . Horrible smell came from air conditioner. . The staff was wonderful and truly made up for this place . Never, Never, again!

In one of the 2 rooms we rented it had mold all over I the ceiling in the shower. It was terrible. I have a picture. The second room the dead bolt feel off because there was only one screw in it. Out side the room there were people smoking pot. Room smelled terrible. People were very nice but the rooms were just not nice. When I showed the pictures to the desk they just said thank you for letting them know. I am not a person who complains or writes these.

The bathrooms were probably the nastiest I’ve ever seen. From cracks in walls, cracks in the shower and patches in the ceiling. The carpet looked like it hadn’t been shampooed in years

Everything was very clean, the rooms were very nice, and everything was very well maintained. I loved it!

Our room was not serviced or cleaned the whole 5 days we were there. I had to put out my own trash, dirty towels and ask for clean towels and toilet paper. Also our toilet was clogged, we asked for someone to fix it, no one showed up. We also had to change our own bedding.

There was black mold on the walls and pictures. Blood on the sheets, huge hole in the shower wall.

There were no towel bars or anywhere to hang towels in bathroom. The humidity was so bad our clothes felt damp in our room.

Nice room size

The beds were VERY comfortable. Rooms were very quiet. Breakfast provided was very good. Only bad thing was the paint/finish in the shower was peeling off the wall. But that was very minor. Everything else was fine.

The light in the room came on and then turned off several times during the night. Not optimal. Not somewhere I would stay with my wife and kids.

Room was spacious and clean. Some outlets did not work but not a big problem. Staff was very pleasant and nice. Walmart is across the street and a walkable distance. Location is in the middle of everything. Would stay here again!

I had a great time staying at this hotel. Very clean and close to a lot of stores, Walmart being one of them. Everything is around you, so convenient. Walking distance. I will definitely stay again. The praise was amazing for three night. I will definitely recommend this hotel.

Property was close to good places to eat and other stores needed on a trip like Walmart

This hotel is nothing fancy, but it is clean, and the staff are very nice and helpful. There are a couple of restaurants in walking distance, and many within a mile.

Located around many restaurants and shopping centers.

The property was very close to where I needed to commute too. The hotel has a lot of safety features for when it’s night time. There are dinning options within walking distance and a Walmart next door. I was overall very impressed with this hotel.

Our room was very clean and the Hotel breakfast was good. There was a nice variety of things to eat, hot and cold~ I wanted to say "Thank You" to Ms Diamond(front desk clerk) She is an Amazing person! She heard my son had ordered a pizza,(while i was sleeping in the room) but only had $8 for a $15 order......well she paid for the pizza, not knowing, he came and woke me up to pay! That was the sweetest thing anyone has ever done! ❤️ She is a very kind and helpful employee at the Clarion Hotel!
