Overall, hotel met our needs for location with nice beds and bathroom. My complaints are room is very small, the staff were not very friendly, hotel charges $75 to check in early (I've never had a hotel charge to check in early if there is room availability), and I had to review receipt carefully (you can use daily $10 food credit on site, but they missed adding this credit). Front desk staff said the system doesn't always catch this... They did fix, but after I pointed out the error. This tells me that everyone should review receipts carefully. The fitness center had nice selection of equipment in good condition; however, Wi-Fi was not great in fitness room (low signal). Also, fitness center had peloton bikes, so you need subscription to use. I think fitness centers should include machines anyone can use.

Overall, hotel was great! Clean rooms, friendly staff who were on top of any request. Bummed that there wasn’t more of a lobby to relax in. Rooms stated there was two queen beds, but definitely were only doubles. Room was very tight, but view of skyline was worth it.

We had a great time at the Tempo by Hilton Times square. The location was ideal; the security was constantly present and effective. The cocktail bar is nice. The check-in process could have been a little more rapid, the lobby is too cozy; and the food selections are limited, but since there are so many alternatives surrounding Times Square, it was hardly missed. While this was a "last minute" stay and our choices were limited, we were fortunate to have chosen the Tempo. We had a lot of fun.

Fantastic location, especially for theater. This hotel looked beautiful and the bed was very comfortable, but the elevators weren’t working correctly the whole weekend (key cards didn’t work in the elevator), and the room’s electronics were a little hard to get used to (e.g., every time we came into the room, the shades would automatically go up and the bathroom light was on a motion detector that turned off if we sat on the toilet too long). Too much form over function.

We stayed in a one bedroom suite on the top floor. The room was well designed. However there were no bathrobes or slippers. No bottled Water or water glasses or tea. The curtains were very tattered and torn and some did not function properly. The staff were mostly friendly except for the staff at the reception desk. Also, no room service. Limited accommodation in dining room. At this room level and price point I expected more amenities.

This place is not sound proof. You can hear the room next to you as if they were in your room. You can hear the whole city. The bathroom has no vents so mold grew in the shower. My wife and were exposed to black mold. The staff is rude as hell they don’t care. They are just there for a pay check. Don’t stay here it’s nit what it’s hyped up to be.

Temp is a nice hotel, but the rooms are way too expensive for the walls to be so thin. We could hear the people next door to us having a conversation at 1 o’clock in the morning. I had to knock on the door between our rooms to ask them to cut their music down. Then an hour later you could hear them having s-e-x and I was with my 15yr old daughter. I tried to call downstairs to the front desk and nobody answered.

We stayed here so that we'd be in walking distance to the theater. This was a perfect location for getting everywhere. Despite being located in Times Square, the hotel is quiet (we were also on the 39th floor). Very stylish and modern. Bed is heavenly. Love the lights in the room. Excellent staff service all around. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay at the Tempo - we booked a king corner room with a view. It was much bigger than we’d anticipated, with a fantastic view of the hustle and hustle of Times Square. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was really spacious with nice toiletries and we had everything we needed for a very comfortable 6 night stay (mini fridge, steamer for clothes, coffee machine etc).The soundproofing was also very good to block out the commotion of Times Square. Our only comment would be that internal sound proofing wasn’t great - we had an interconnecting door facility with the next room (which we didn’t need or use) but because of that we could hear conversations, tv, phones ringing etc in the next room. It was only on and off, so didn’t disturb us really, but just something for others to bear in mind.

Didn’t like the hotel. Is noisy with not enough sound proofing from outside. Room was small. Air con was really strange. It doesn’t work when out of the room, only when in the room and even then it shuts off if it detects no movement, such as when you sleep. Wouldn’t stay against.

Terrible experience at checkin. After my flight was delayed I got there at 2am really tired and the person at checkin was not prepared nor gave any rats ass to be the least welcoming, he rather keep repeating that there was an error - which he repeated 5 times - after I, super tired, said my reservation was until Saturday instead of Friday. I said I was exhausted and just wanted my room, but he rather kept repeating that I said Saturday wrong, I almost told him to, excuse my language, eff off. Would never step foot in this place again.

Room clean, compact and well set up. Overlooking Times Sq and right by a subway entrance. Staff helpful and efficient. No general lobby area - just a restaurant/cafe only staffed and operating upto 2pm and later reopened as a bar. Our family had booked four rooms and the room charges we were billed for after we left were incorrect (over charged) in every case. Difficult to get through to the right contact to address this. Two of our party managed this and received prompt refunds of the excesses but two received no response to multiple contacts and no refunds!

I am an avid traveler. I am an elite member with Marriott and travel internationally as well. I have never arrived early to a hotel and been charged an early check-in fee. This was a last minute trip, so I called the morning of to see if they had rooms available for early check-in and was told they had many rooms available. Upon trying to check-in around 9:30, I was told the room I booked was not available and had to be cleaned. My daughter and I waited about an hour and 15 mins for them to clean the room and then charged a $100 early check-in fee. Keep in mind a ton of people were checking in with no fee. I was told because I booked a nicer room. Then one of the towels had makeup stains on it.

When I checked in, I was told I had a $ 35.00 credit per day to use in the bar/dining room at anytime during the day, she did not specify breakfast only. I even confirmed with her while talking. I skipped breakfast at the hotel and had breakfast offsite, so I could use the credit for dinner/drinks. Then when I checked out, they said, no, that credit was for breakfast only!!! So I totally lost the $ 70.00 credit because the Hotel staff misinformed me at checkin. Nothing was done at checkout to make this right either!! This is why I rated staff with a 1, the staff needs to do better in informing guests of the amenities they have.

I travel quite often and this is probably the worst hotel state I’ve ever had. I booked the hotel stay through hotel.com. The day before I got there they charged my card once more and then charge my card again upon checkout. I told them of this mistake and they assured me that they were correct it. They said that they usually charge the first night to make sure that the card goes through if it doesn’t they usually cancel the reservation. I come home today and they still charge the additional charges. I continue to reach out and no one ever returned my phone call. Luckily I have receipts and credit card statements to prove. If this does not get taken care of I will reach out to the Better Business Bureau and I will also dispute this with my credit card company because this is completely false. They overcharge my stay it will not give me my money back! Worst hotel ever!

Staff on the street level (valet, door guys) were beyond excellent. The check-in and check out staff need a lot temperament training. They were incredibly rude. This would have been 5 stars if not for them. It makes me question staying there again for future trips. The taller, younger gentleman at the front should not be employed.

Location, location, location! The view from our room was the Red Bleachers in Times Square . Close to all the tourist spots. Our room was comfortable and I would have thought cramped if it was anywhere else, but for NYC it was spacious enough. If you want the chaos that can be Times Square and Broadway, this is the place. I was happy that the blackout curtains allowed us to have a break from the lights, so we enjoyed them when awake and slept peacefully when we closed the curtains.

Raw review it was okay! The room was too expensive, small, and the view was okay but hard to see with dirty windows. Also, no room service. Any food being delivered expect to go down for it because asking someone to bring it up its like pulling teeth upon a bad attitude. Nevertheless, asking for towels was also a struggle. Overall, it was an okay stay. Not worth the hype or money. Unfortunately, not the most welcoming nor approachable staff! I would prefer our stay at the edition across the street. Clean, and walkable!

Lovely hotel but they’re SO missing an opportunity since the area for eating “closes” every afternoon after 3pm! Ideally there should be an opportunity for tea/coffee and tray bakes then - you would make a killing in terms of profit!! The people working there were ALL lovely and friendly and SO helpful. Would recommend it!

Very friendly and accommodating team. Check-in was smooth but a bit slow. Long line at 4pm. Water provided while waiting. Great location, across from Hershey store and ticket box office. Comfortable beds with clean bathrooms, rain shower and good quality personal care items. We forgot our tooth brush and received it complimentary at concierge desk.
