3 stars may be generous, but I like camping so am inclined to like this. And there were some positives! First the negatives: front desk staff was NOT helpful at all. Young guy, sounded completely bored like he had explained where things are a million times, and he probably has, but I didn't know where things were! Then had to struggle to figure it out, which was frustrating. Tents are fine, but the bed isn't that comfortable and I kept waking up through the night which is unusual for me. The blankets you get are made from sleeping bags and not excessively warm. Showers are dirty. Supposedly they supply shampoo and body wash but the dispensers were empty in every shower stall I checked and never refilled (we were there two nights). Code to the bathroom didn't work. Myself and several others couldn't get it open so it wasn't just me. Most of all, there was a group of junior high kids on a school trip and we were put in the middle of them. They were LOUD, constantly SCREAMING and behaving like junior high kids. Not their fault, but the camp should have put other guests in a different section. They started screaming and woke me up every morning at 6am. Can't complain officially though, bc quiet hours end at 6am. So when they scream and bang things and make noise at 6:01am, technically they're allowed to do so. Now the positives: the heater in the tent worked great. The showers have good water pressure and hot water. The pizza was decent. That's about it.

Remember this is cabin, tent. You are in the mountain. Do not compare to a regular hotel stay. With this in mind, you will be happy. Food has to be stored in the metal box at the door outside, latched. You have to use the public rest rooms. Inconvenient, but that is a good experience. The dining hall is quite good, and has good food for dinner. Only sandwich for lunch. Price is reasonably expensive. Remember it is not cheap in the cities anymore.
